Indian Citation Index is a major web-based citation database that provides access to the Indian publications across all disciplines published in journals/serials or other documents. The current study evaluated the research productivity of Mizoram University based on the data collected from Indian Citation Index for fourteen years from 2004-2017. This study endeavours to analyse the overall performance of the faculty members of the Mizoram University in research productivity. During the study, a total of 265 articles were collected from Indian Citation Index between the years 2004-2017. The study endeavours to measure the year-wise distribution of publication output, co-authorship index, and collaborative index, degree of collaboration, collaboration coefficient, modified collaboration coefficient, most productive author, top-ranked subjects and top-ranked publications based on the collected data. The result of the study indicates that the average research output is 18.93 articles per year. The most productive author was U. K. Sahoo department of Forestry with 25 publications. The highest rank publication was Current Science with 16 publications. Highest publications have been given by Biological Science subject which is 54 and research article 230 was a preferred document by the scientists of Mizoram University during 2004-2017.

The present study focuses on analysis of research output in the discipline of Library and Information Science at Panjab University, Chandigarh and Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar till 31 December 2014. The curriculum vitae (CV) and publication details of faculty members of Department of Library and Information Science were obtained by personal visit to universities and bibliographic information on their papers were recorded. The study deals with 152 publications of Panjab University, Chandigarh and 111 publications of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, in the field of Library and Information Science. It examines the Library and Information Science output by different ways like document type, authorship pattern, and degree of collaboration. The study also examines the relative growth rate of publications and doubling time for publications.

This study analyses the research output in diabetes literature in India during 2019 indexed on Web of Science database on several aspects includes growth, rank and global publication and share of international collaborative papers. It also analyses the most productive authors, top journals, on-year wise distribution, country wise distribution and authorship pattern of contribution. The highest number of scientific outputs belongs to USA, UK, Netherland, India followed by other countries which considerably had a lower rate of publication. Among all authors globally V. Mohan contributed 75 articles on Diabetes literature. From this study it was concluded that the publication on Diabetes literature was increased and more participation should be needed for the growth of Diabetes literature nationally throughout countries.

The present study aims at describing both the common and the distinguishing features of co authorship trends and patterns in Dyxlexia research output based on the data collected from Web of science database published during the 1989-2017. Outcome of the study shows that multi authored articles 83.09% prevail the single authored articles 16.96%. It also shows that author Shaywitz SE J has got highest 7383 global citations against 54 publications. This study is in support for the fact that Dyslexia research output is collaborative in all aspects Ranking of Authors based on Publications.

In the spring and summer of 1970 the Commission on the Status of Women of the Modern Language Association conducted a comprehensive, nationwide survey on the position of women in English and modern foreign language departments. We collected information on types of appointments, ranks, teaching patterns, and salary levels of men and women faculty members and the proportion of women among graduate enrollments and recent degrees awarded. In addition, the Commission asked for information about nepotism regulations and practices of departments in the Association. This report presents some results of the survey.

It will set out, in detail, the strategies and processes that were developed to realize the vision, as well as the challenges and problems encountered, and steps taken to address these challenges and problems. Mistakes were made along the way and the lessons that can be learnt for any university that aims to be involved in the ranking exercises.

Scientometrics study is one of the most efficient methods of quantitative evaluation of the scientific publication. Coronaviruses are one of the common viruses affect the human and animals some time. There is 7 type of corona already in existence, but the recent Coronavirus called novel corona (Covid19) which spreads among human rapidly. This study is to know the recent research publication of Coronavirus from the web of science, especially after December 2019, where the real spreads started and impact the world economy due to lock down. The data for this study is retrieved from the web of science for the year of 2018, 2019, and 2020 (till March). This study is an attempt to know the publication pattern, year-wise growth of publications, country-wise research output, and top-cited paper. Also, this paper is focusing on the research output of China and Wuhan University in the publications and the Wuhan University’s participation in this research publication during the period.
