With the development of computer technology and network communication technology and multimedia technology, database technology has become an important technical means and software technology for organizing and managinglarge amount of data in information society. It is the foundation of network information management system. Itnot only has a complete theoretical basis, and with the rapid development of hardware technology and softwaretechnology, its application is more and more widely. However, the rapid development of information technology isthat people face such a situation: CAD / CAM, CIMS, CASE, GIS and other applications require the managementof increasingly complex information, such as multimedia data, such as multimedia data, spatial data, scientifi c data,Data and other data types, these data compared with the traditional type, not only the type of complex, diverse forms, and storage, transmission, operation and retrieval methods also have many new features, new requirements, on theone hand, the need for database technology and database systems To manage these complex data in order to obtainthe database system has many of the data management functions, such as query, retrieval, recovery, concurrencycontrol, integrity, storage management. On the other hand, due to the vigorous development of network technology, information processing has long been from a single user environment to the development of the network environment, this environment for resources, information sharing provides a great convenience, and because of multi-machine worktogether to greatly improve the work , The combination of the two requires that the database management system beable to manage complex data objects in a networked environment or heterogeneous environment. Traditional DBMSscannot eff ectively handle complex multimedia data, thus requiring the use of new multimedia indexing and retrievaltechniques. Multimedia database technology is an important part of computer technology, it can simultaneously acquire, process, edit, store and display text, sound, video, graphics and other diff erent media, while it has diversity, integrationand interactivity and so on. Only to solve the key technical issues of multimedia, can be widely used to promote itsfaster development.

Big Data is comprised systems, to remain competitive by techniques emerging due to Big Data. Big Data includes structured data, semi-structured and unstructured. Structured data are those data formatted for use in a database management system. Semi-structured and unstructured data include all types of unformatted data including multimedia and social media content. Among practitioners and applied researchers, the reaction to data available through blogs, Twitter, Facebook, or other social media can be described as a “data rush” promising new insights about consumers' choices and behavior and many other issues. In the past Big Data has been used just by very large organizations, governments and large enterprises that have the ability to create its own infrastructure for hosting and mining large amounts of data. This chapter will show the requirements for the Big Data environments to be protected using the same rigorous security strategies applied to traditional database systems.

Distributed Database Management System (DDBMS) is one of the prime concerns in distributed computing. The driving force of development of DDBMS is the demand of the applications that need to query very large databases (order of terabytes). Traditional Client- Server database systems are too slower to handle such applications. This paper presents a better way to find the optimal number of nodes in a distributed database management systems. ABSTRACT The Maritime Safety Authority of New Zealand (MSA) has a mandate to promote a safe and clean marine environment and to provide an effective marine pollution response capability. As part of its obligations, the MSA is responsible for the New Zealand Marine Oil Spill Response Strategy and the preparation of a National Marine Oil Spill Contingency Plan for Tier 3 spill events (Maritime Transport Act 1994, S.283). The MSA is currently working on the design of an extensive coastal information database—including information such as marine and natural resource inventories and coastal human-built infrastructures—that can be mapped in a GIS system. A customised toolset is also being developed to streamline the management of the database. The benefits of GIS-based information management systems in oil spill response have been demonstrated by a number of overseas response agencies. However, many of these rely on discrete components or only fulfil specific individual requirements, such as the provision of coastal resource information. Having reviewed these approaches, New Zealand has embarked on the development of a more integrated and comprehensive oil spill information management system that will deliver a broad range of applications and serve to provide a framework for the seamless management and reporting of all the types of data that are generated throughout the life cycle of an oil spill response. The system combines GIS and database technology. It includes field survey management support, as well as automated treatment mechanisms to produce reports and maps to support planning and operations. The system also integrates a pre-spill shoreline segmentation database. The benefits of such a system will include the recording and presentation of all types of response data that is more responsive to the needs of operational decision makers; the ability to better track the progress of spill cleanup activities in both a temporal and spatial context; and the generation of customised reports to assist in cost recovery claims on termination of response activities.

With the rapid development of the Internet of Things (IoT) technology, it has been widely used in various fields. IoT device as an information collection unit can be built into an information management system with an information processing and storage unit composed of multiple servers. However, a large amount of sensitive data contained in IoT devices is transmitted in the system under the actual wireless network environment will cause a series of security issues and will become inefficient in the scenario where a large number of devices are concurrently accessed. If each device is individually authenticated, the authentication overhead is huge, and the network burden is excessive. Aiming at these problems, we propose a protocol that is efficient authentication for Internet of Things devices in information management systems. In the proposed scheme, aggregated certificateless signcryption is used to complete mutual authentication and encrypted transmission of data, and a cloud server is introduced to ensure service continuity and stability. This scheme is suitable for scenarios where large-scale IoT terminal devices are simultaneously connected to the information management system. It not only reduces the authentication overhead but also ensures the user privacy and data integrity. Through the experimental results and security analysis, it is indicated that the proposed scheme is suitable for information management systems.

Abstract With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, computers and Internet of Things technologies, building intelligence is becoming more and more popular. However, as the various functional subsystems and equipment of intelligent buildings are connected to each other, the traditional management system needs to monitor and modulate more and more programs, which will have a great impact on the interoperability of the subsystems. Therefore, a more complete and powerful management system is needed. OPC provides a unified standard that can effectively solve this problem. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to design an intelligent OPC building information management system based on the Internet of Things. This article first summarizes the development history and status quo of OPC technology, and then extends the design principles of building information management system based on OPC. Based on its design principles, a detailed analysis of the various subsystems of the building information management system, such as fire protection, intrusion prevention, monitoring, access control, and central air conditioning, is carried out. This article systematically explained the application of PID in the building information management system. And use comparative analysis method, observation method and other research forms to conduct experimental research on the intelligent OPC building information management system based on computer Internet of things.
