Crime records management is a system that helps police keep records of citizens’ complaints files, investigation evidence and processes. In addition, it helps police keep records of the criminals who have been arrested or who are to be arrested. This paper aims to model the Crime Record Management System (CRMS) using various Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams, to demonstrate an explicit visualization of the system. Also, showing the communication among different actors, and the sequence of activities and interactions. The perspective of modeling the CRMS is by covering four stages, which are Counter (Station Diary Constable), Crime Investigation, Prosecution, and Adjudication. It is concluded that applying UML diagrams facilitates understanding and perceiving the processes of recording crime files, as it illustrates detailed activities and interactions.

PT. Duta Nichirindo Pratama is a company engaged in the field of Autoparts Manufacture. Barcode is the identity of an item / product on the package. Barcode technology has been used as the identity of goods in a production. Barcodes are used to facilitate the identification of goods produced. Paste the barcode on the packaging of packaging results at PT. Duta Nichirindo Pratama is done manually, but there are often errors attached to the barcode on a similar packaging. This research will design and create a system based on Visual Basic.Net and Arduino to select barcode attachment errors that have the potential to be sent to consumers. The system is designed using Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams, database design and interface menu design. The system created will then be tested to detect the black box test. With a computing-based design system that functions to detect barcodes on the packaging automatically, the problem of sticking barcodes on the packaging can be detected.

Project management skills such as WBS, Gantt Chart and PERT have been applied in many fields, but system analysts preferred UML to project tools. This chapter recommend transformation rules from project items into objects and project charts into UML diagrams, to model all project items and processes by using UML. Therefore, UML can be applied not only to system analysis and design, but also to entire project processes. Stakeholders in a project can rethink the project in terms of object orientation and communicate with system developers using the same tool as UML.

Abstract This paper firstly introduces the main content of the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and proves that it can transmit information among the users, the developers, the designers and the managers efficiently, which improves their collaboration capabilities and greatly increases the degree of industrialization in software development projects. Secondly, a library management system development and design is carried out, based on UML modeling mechanism to analyze a simple library management system. Thirdly, a demand analysis mode of the management system is built with the help of a case diagram and an analysis diagram after analysis of a simple library management system, using UML modeling mechanism. Then a book lending management subsystem has been designed in the library management system by a design class diagram and a sequence diagram. The design process indicates that as a modeling language of software engineering, UML has a very good application prospect.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to curate and promote students’ and lecturers’ works and creations, and to provide pleasing user experience for mobile device users when browsing the portfolio gallery information. Design/methodology/approach The design of the mobile web application using Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology includes Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams. The evaluation is done in three steps: first step by comparing similar software, the second step by evaluate the interface using the eight golden rules and the last one by taking user questionnaire. Findings Evaluation of the application of Bina Nusantara University (BINUS) Store Mobile Web. Originality/value The authors report the development of BINUS Store Mobile web application by using Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) with Laravel framework and evaluate it in Android and iOS environments.

This paper presents a unified personnel management system modeling language design. Unified Modeling Language is the use of object-oriented visualization, documentation and other standardized modeling language. The system uses the most popular B / S architecture, the choice of Microsoft's ASP.NET web development carried foreground, background database selected Microsoft SQL2005, through a combination of the two can give full play to the efficiency of personnel management software and have security features.

<p><em>Penelitian ini didasari dari pentingnya manajemen persediaan pada suatu perusahaan agar bisa mengelola persediaan yang dimiliki. Bagi perusahaan yang memiliki produk yang sangat beragam dan jumlahnya yang relatif banyak, maka proses pendataan persediaan tidak dapat didata secara keseluruhan jika masih menggunakan cara manual. Selain tidak efektif dari sisi waktu pengerjaan, kualitas informasi yang dihasilkan kurang akurat. Permasalahan yang dipaparkan tersebut dapat diatasi dengan dibangunnya Sistem Informasi Manajemen Persediaan. Sistem Informasi yang dibangun ini menyediakan fasilitas berupa : pendataan pembelian barang, pendataan barang produksi dan pendataan barang yang terjual beserta laporannya. Pembangunan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Persediaan Barang ini dibangun dengan menggunakan metode pengembangan sistem prototype dan metode pendekatan sistem berorientasi objek dengan diagram Unified Modeling Language (UML) untuk menggambarkan rancangan sistem. Sedangkan software yang digunakan untuk implementasi rancangan ke aplikasi program menggunakan PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) dan Database Management System (DBMS) menggunakan MySQL.Dengan sistem yang dibangun yang saling terintegrasi melalui jaringan intranet, diharapkan tercapainya pengelolaan yang baik dan saling mendukung antar komunitas atau bagian kerja yang ada di perusahaan sehingga dapat menghasilkan informasi yang berkualitas dan akurat.</em></p><p class="Abstract">                                                                                                                                                       </p><p><strong>Kata Kunci</strong>: <em>Persediaaan Barang, Sistem Informasi, Sistem Informasi Persediaan Barang</em></p>

Document Management System (DMS) adalah sistem berbasis komputer yang menyediakan penyimpanan berbasis web yang dapat diakses di berbagai tempat. DMS dapat mengurangi resiko kehilangan dokumen, memangkas biaya pengarsipan dokumen fisik dan dapat dicetak kembali. Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta memiliki proses Ganti Uang Persediaan (GUP) yaitu mekanisme penggantian Uang Persediaan (UP) yang diberikan pada awal tahun anggaran, proses ini melibatkan banyak berkas penting dan seluruh fakultas. Oleh karena itu, DMS mencoba mendukung proses bisnis GUP ini dengan menyediakan media koordinasi antar unit dalam mengelola berkas maupun dokumen elektronik secara online untuk meminimalisir kecelakaan ataupun hilangnya berkas. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah Scrum dengan Unified Modeling Language (UML) sebagai tools perancangan sistem. Sistem dibangun menggunakan PHP dan MySQL. Mengacu dari hasil wawancara kepada Bapak Ady Cahyadi selaku Sekretaris SPI dan Bapak Rezky Mehta Setiadi sebagai Koor Divisi Kepatuhan dan Keuangan SPI, output berupa Revolving Fund Document Management System berbasis web ini mendukung pengelolaan dokumen, pengecekan proses dokumen dan koordinasi secara online pada proses GUP tingkat fakultas di UIN Jakarta.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi yang dapat mengakomodir manajemen aset Universitas Negeri Padang, baik dalam bentuk produk / hasil kerja dari civitas dan layanan yang diselenggarakan secara internal maupun dari pihak luar yang bekerjasama dengan Universitas Negeri Padang.. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat memfasilitasi civitas academica dalam pengembangan bisnis dan untuk mempromosikan produk dan layanan berdasarkan kategori mereka. Desain produk dan layanan sistem informasi manajemen dibangun menggunakan model waterfall dan pola desain e-commerce dengan pemodelan UML (Unified Modeling Language). Bahasa pemrograman utama yang digunakan PHP (PHP Hypertext Preprocessor), serta CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) dan Javascript sebagai bahasa tambahan dengan MySQL sebagai Database Management System (DBMS). Sistem ini dibangun menggunakan framework codeigniter dengan arsitektur MVC (Model View Controller). Hasil dari sistem dapat digunakan untuk pengelolaan produk dan layanan, manajemen pemesanan sewa, kerjasama pemangku kepentingan, pengelolaan kualitas pengujian, hingga pengelolaan transaksi. Seluruh aktivitas yang terjadi pada sistem dapat didokumentasikan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna.
