The paper investigates a testing installation of method of producing hydrogen by oxidizing aluminum powder with water. It was found out that during such a reaction, it is necessary to control the pressure and temperature of the system, since self-heating is possible due to the exothermicity of the aluminum oxidation process. For this purpose, an experimental stand consist of a reactor with a magnetic stirrer, temperature and pressure sensors and a control unit. An installation allows registering changes in pressure and temperature over time. The dependences of pressure and temperature in the reactor on time are presented in this paper. Diagrams are constructed in the UML modeling language, showing the options and the sequence of using the experimental stand. Staged experimental studies were carried out with the help of the developed stand. In accordance with the results obtained, it can be concluded that hydrogen is released during this reaction, as evidenced by an increase in pressure in the reactor. The installed sensors allow monitoring the process parameters in real time.

Hierarchical scheduling frameworks are a new scheduling paradigm where multiple system schedules are integrated (one-within-another).  HSFs presents a multi-layered complexity problem that system engineers are struggling to contain.  A promising trend in the aerospace and defense industry is to employ Digital Engineering’s Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to deal with the complexity of HSFs.  MBSE permits the abstraction of application-specific details that can radically speed up system design exploration.  Thus, this paper investigates how the output from an HSF algorithm can be converted into an MBSE modeling language that enables architectural exploration for resource allocation.  The Unified Modeling Language (UML) Modeling and Analysis of Real-Time and Embedded Systems (MARTE) Profile is the chosen unified modeling language of MBSE. The modeling language is used with an HSF application for demonstration purposes.  The approach in this paper seeks to limit tool use by combining an inline verification method (Genetic Algorithm) with a new MBSE workflow.

Manuscript management plays an important role in the whole periodical industry. Journals and magazine society receive different types of contribution documents from all over the world. Many submission files are mostly transmitted by e-mail, but there are some hidden disadvantages in e-mail. In view of this situation, this paper studies the establishment and optimization simulation of manuscript management system based on fuzzy genetic neural network (FGNN). On the basis of genetic neural network, combined with the advantages of FNN neural network algorithm, a FGNN structure is established to optimize the system, which is helpful to the learning and expression ability of the whole system. The results show that the FGNN can extract and express the structured data, and the submission management system runs faster. Then, UML modeling and PHP framework are used to realize the design and establishment of the system, and the simulation model of contribution system is constructed. The innovation of this study is to combine genetic neural network with FNN neural network, which can query, manage, and classify manuscripts quickly. It also improves the complex submission system and optimizes the submission process. The whole journal editing work has been effectively improved.

The Robot Operating System (ROS) is one of the most used software framework to develop robot applications. Although it is possible to reuse packages and code from other ROS projects, ROS applications remain low level and reasoning at a higher level of abstraction is not possible. Using Model-Driven Engineering (MDE) in the context of ROS applications would allow to increase the accessibility of ROS, leverage the reusability of packages and supply validation of the software earlier in the design, using formal methods. For instance, formal verification methods would improve the overall dependability of robotic systems. Our view is that we should increase the abstraction of the systems through models using MDE methodology in order to enable the use of formal methods on ROS applications. In this paper we do a first step toward this and propose a comparative study of existing modeling alternatives aiming to help roboticists to smoothly adopt MDE. This study compares the use of modeling in ROS systems in three different ways: by means of direct UML modeling, a ROS UML profile and a ROS Domain-Specific Language. That allows us to pick the solution that better fits our needs.

In this era of digitalization, there are many companies that have problems in delivering information. This makes the data management process slow, as well as providing information when needed, which hinders the process of selling or releasing goods. There are still many large companies in Indonesia that have not applied technology to be one of the reasons for the author to create a web-based inventory design application to facilitate the delivery of the required information, especially in information regarding reports of goods in and out, final stock reports and all problems related to stock. By designing the system towards a better direction, it is hoped that it can help and facilitate the ongoing system processes in managing data, including processing, compiling, and storing data which ultimately produces accurate data that can be used for company needs. The results of the analysis are described using the UML modeling language and applying the Rapid Application Development model. Implementation is in the form of the final result achieved, namely the formation of a web-based information system that can make it easier for users to process data.

Anxiety is an excessive anxiety disorder in psychology. People are basically not aware that they may have symptoms of this anxiety disorder in each of them. And if not treated as soon as possible can interfere with a person's psychological condition. It may seem trivial but this disorder can reduce performance so that it has an impact on a person's life. To overcome this problem, we need an expert system that can identify anxiety disorders. This system is designed using UML (Unified Modeling Language) diagram modeling. The purpose of this UML modeling is to describe the user's needs for the system and what things can be done by the system, so that with this UML modeling the entire system picture can be seen. The UML modeling for the expert system for early identification of anxiety disorders is expected to be a tool that can assist the process of making the system, where people can check whether they suffer from anxiety disorders or not to consult a psychologist.

The General Election Commission (KPU) of Indragiri Hilir Regency has not had a particular application that helps financial staff make a warrant for an official trip. Recently, it has been made by using Microsoft Word. Therefore, researchers create a system to facilitate it easier. This study uses the waterfall method in developing its system, which includes the stages of needs analysis, data collection, application development, testing, and implementation. The data collection was done by utilizing observation, interviews, and literature studies. The modeling system used is UML modeling (Unified Modeling Language) web-based with the programming language PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) and MySQL database. This study's results can make it more straightforward for financial staff to make a warrant for an official trip. It makes it easier to find information related to past official travel if needed.
