The article presents the results of hydrocarbon compounds extracted from open pores and blocked by resinous-asphaltene compounds pores in the Tutleim formation rocks (a stratigraphic analogue of the Bazhenov formation) and the underlying Jurassic deposits on the territory of the Kamennaya crest of the Krasnoleninsky arch investigation. The aim of the work was both to study the possible migration of hydrocarbons along the section and area and to assess the variability of the bitumen composition in rocks relative to the structural plan of the area of interest, along the section, as well as unconventional reservoirs. It is shown that the structural features and the assumed additional heating of the rocks lead to variety in the hydrocarbons composition not only in open, but also in blocked pores, both through the area of Tutleim formation distribution and in different intervals of one well. It was established that in the sediments organic matter, which may slightly differ in nature within the formation, can accumulate, and this leads to some differences in the generation, accumulation and migration of hydrocarbon compounds processes. It is shown that the process of migration of hydrocarbons from the underlying sediments also affects the bitumen composition in the rocks of the Tutleim formation.

Based on pyrolytic data (3 995 samples from 208 wells) organic matter types of Bazhenov Formation are identified in the central part of Western Siberian basin. Zones of kerogen types I, II, III and mixed I-II and II-III are mapped. Content of sulfur, paraffins, resins and asphaltenes, viscosity, density, temperature and gas content in oils from Upper Jurassic and Lower Cretaceous sediments (3 806 oil pools) are mapped. Oil gradations are identified and distributed. The alternative model of zones of kerogen II and IIS types is presented. The established distributions of organic matter types can be used in basin modeling and in assessment of oil-and-gas bearing prospects.

The paper presents a study of the structure and reservoir properties of rocks of the Bazhenov formation in the sections of three wells located in different structural zones of the Priobskoye field. It is shown that the porosity of the samples varies from 0.02% to 6.95%, the absolute gas permeability of the rocks reaches 1.364 mD. It is established that the collectors in the Bazhenov formation are confined to silicite-radiolarites (possessing porosity associated with the leaching of radiolarian shells) and kerogen-clay-siliceous rock and kerogen-clay silicite (porosity is associated with the release of space between the clay-siliceous matrix and kerogen by ripening organic matter). The following secondary processes influenced the formation of voids in these lithotypes: recrystallization of radiolarians and local warming up.

The qualitative and quantitative assessment of ground waters protectability based on the regional specific charac-teristics of the lithology and thickness of impermeable deposits of the zone of aeration and overlying deposits, a ratio of confined and ground water levels, the soils and clay rocks absorptivity. The article gives the author's vision of ground waters natural protectability. It presents a quantitative estimation by three most well-known methods. Based on the calculations made a map of protectability of fresh ground waters in the Atlym-Novomikhailovsk complex for Nizhnevartovsk district was constructed.

This paper presents data on lithological composition, distribution, reservoir properties, geochemistry of organic matter and genesis of carbonate rocks of the Bazhenov formation within the central part of Western Siberia (the region of the Khantei hemianteclise). The following types of carbonates are distinguished: a) primary biogenic – shell rock interlayers and residues of coccolith; b) dia- and catagenetic – in varying degrees, recrystallized rocks with coccoliths, nodules and aporadiolarites; c) catagenetic – cracks healed with calcite in limestone of the foot of the Bazhenov formation. It was determined that the crystallization of the carbonate material of nodules took place in various conditions: in the bottom part of the sediments and in the later stages of diagenesis. The source of calcite for nodules was calcareous nanoplankton or bivalve shells. The carbonate content of the cuts decreases in the following sequence: Yuzhno-Yagunsky → Povkhovsky → Novortyagunsky → Druzhny areas, which are associated both with facial features and various physicochemical conditions of diagenesis and catagenesis. Transformation of organic matter increases in the northeast direction from South Yagunsky to Povkhovsky area, which is confirmed by molecular parameters of catagenesis. The carbonate rocks of the bottom part of the Bazhenov formation in the South Yagunsky area are similar in structure to the main oil-bearing reservoirs of the Salym and Krasnoleninsky fields.

The article presents a brief overview of the views on the stratification of the section of the neocomian deposits. As a basis for geological modeling, instead of formation units, seismic facies complexes were taken, including reservoirs in the coastal shallow-water zone, in a relatively deep-water zone - isochronous clinoform formations of the achimov strata. Within the researched territory, the characteristic of the established oil and gas potential of the complex is presented, on the basis of 3D seismic survey, perspective objects are identified, and their seismogeological characteristics are given.

On the basis of modeling the dynamics of the catagenesis of the Cretaceous deposits, the lateral heterogeneity of the history of their catagenesis within the western part of the Black Sea megadepression, caused by the tectonic regime of the blocks separated by the Golitsyn, Sulino-Tarkhankutsky, Gubkino-Donuzlavsky sublatitudinal faults, was established. The spatio-temporal features of the development of reservoirs and migration paths of hydrocarbon fluids have been established, the predicted zones of oil and gas accumulation have been localized. There are four types of lithogenetic reservoirs, which differed in the time of formation, structural features, fluid regime and the nature of oil and gas saturation. In the first cycle of catagenesis, the generation center was localized mainly in the sediments of the Lower Albian (t 80–100 оС), in the second – the Middle Albian (t 100–120 оС), in the third – the Upper Albian (t 130–150 оС).Given a certain difference in the situations of sedimentation of these stratigraphic units, the composition and content of scattered organic matter in the sediments were different. This, as well as the different generation temperatures, obviously caused the specific composition of hydrocarbon fluids formed during individual cycles of catagenesis. Along the migration pathways and during structural changes, these fluids were mixed, multicomponent systems were formed, and the composition of hydrocarbons changed. The possibility of the existence of subvertical "vein" areas of oil and gas accumulation with a width of up to 10 km and a height of 1,5–2,0 km is argued. Such reservoirs, on the one hand, may contain deposits and, on the other hand, supply hydrocarbons to overlying traps. Given the nature of oil and gas accumulation, the potential resources and, consequently, the prospects for oil and gas in the region can be much higher.
