The combination of new-generation information technology and manufacturing technology has resulted in major and profound impact on future development paradigm of manufacturing. It is challenging for existing methods to conduct a multidimensional trend exploration related to machine tool domain, which is the basis of virtually everything in manufacturing. In this paper, we proposed an integrating approach framework combined topic models, bibliometric, trend analysis and patent analysis to mine insightful information about future development from multi-source data related to machine tool, such as papers, grants, patents and news. Specifically, papers and grants provided two different perspectives to explore the current focuses and future trends in machine tool research. Furthermore, the future technology development of machine tool was investigated through patents analysis. Finally, news related to machine tool industry in recent years was analyzed to analyze future machine tool business mode. The integration of the above various analytical methods and the multi-dimensional mining of literatures enabled the analysis of the future development of machine tool domain systematically from multi-perspectives which include research, technology development and industry. The conclusions obtained in this paper is beneficial to different communities of machine tool in terms of determining the research directions for researchers, identifying industry opportunities for corporations and developing reasonable industry policy for policy makers.

The combination of new-generation information technology and manufacturing technology has had in a significant and profound impact on the future development paradigm of manufacturing. Machine tools are the basis of virtually everything that is manufactured in the industry, exploring the development of the machine tool domain is of considerable significance to identify the opportunity to develop manufacturing industry and promote the sustainable development of manufacturing in the current tightening constraints of resource environment. Although much attention has been paid to development studies of a specific domain in recent years, it is challenging to conduct a multidimensional study related to the development status of the machine tool domain using existing methods. To solve this challenge, we propose an integrating framework combining topic models, bibliometric, trend analysis and patent analysis to mine multi-source literature within the machine tool domain, including papers, funds, patents, and news. Specifically, papers and funds provided two different perspectives to explore the development status in the research of machine tools. Furthermore, the technology development of machine tools was investigated through patents analysis. Finally, news related to the machine tool industry in recent years was analyzed to examine business focuses on machine tools. The integration of above various analytical methods and multi-dimensional mining of literature enabled analyzing the development of the machine tool domain systematically from multi-perspectives that include research, technology development and industry to provide inspirations about the implications of sustainable development of this domain. Like in many other provinces, during the Habsburg period, the main point of orientation for Galicia was Vienna. This also applies to architecture and urban development. Galicia’s technical elite applied the theoretical and practical experience it gathered in Vienna to the towns and cities of this northeastern Crown land. Ignacy Drexler, born in 1878 in the Austro-Hungarian Lemberg, was a representative of a new generation of engineers and architects who did not necessarily have to spend time in the imperial capital to earn their spurs. Increasingly, besides the more or less obligatory stay in Vienna, other European countries became points of reference. Drexler did not live to see the realization of important aspects of his comprehensive plan for the city, but his ideas and the data he compiled were indispensable for the future development of his hometown. They shape urban planning in Lviv to this day.

Sustainable economic development is an important force to enhance the comprehensive national strength. It mainly depends on the breakthrough and innovation of science and technology. The new generation of information technology (NGIT) is the most active field in scientific and technological innovation. It is of great significance to deeply consider the relationship between the new generation of information technology and the sustainable development of a regional economy. In this study, 29 provinces and cities in China from 2009 to 2018 were selected and use the feasible generalized least squares (FGLS) method to empirically analyze the impact of the new generation of information technology on the sustainable development of regional economy. Simultaneously, it analyzes the differences between NGIT and economy sustainable development of the regional economy under different institutional environments. According to the research results, there is a positive correlation between new-generation information technology and the sustainable development of a regional economy. There is a positive U-shaped relationship between the penetration depth of NGIT and the sustainable development of a regional economy. Simultaneously, the higher the institutional environment’s level, the stronger the positive relationship between the penetration of NGIT and the sustainable development of a regional economy.

Over the last 15 years, healthcare delivery has experienced enormous changes across every aspect of clinical care, both for participants in it and affiliated stakeholders. The plethora and breadth of these changes and ongoing struggles with their incorporation into the work of healthcare begs the question: In 2035, what emerging innovations and considerations will we wish we had prepared for with regard to human factors engineering research, technology development, and system redesign efforts? Panelists and co-chairs have deep experience with steering, and being impacted by, innovations in information technology in healthcare. The panelists represent diverse academic, clinical, government contract research and development, and small entrepreneurial business. Perhaps the biggest benefit of this session will be the explicit inclusion of the audience in brainstorming and discussion activities, which will be facilitated digitally and verbally during the session and shared afterwards electronically with participants.

In the rapid development of information technology, the term new retail was derived based on online shopping, and as the creator of largest online shopping platform in China, Ma Yun, made a related concept discussion on new retail, which caused a great response in the whole society. Therefore, this paper will study the future development trend of the new retail model, as well as the controversy existing in the new retail itself and many successful cases. Through analysis and discussion, the paper will discuss the future development of new retail and e-commerce trends.
