Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan: budaya sekolah dengan kinerja guru; komunikasi dengan kinerja guru; budaya sekolah dengan komitmen; komunikasi dengan komitmen, komitmen dengan kinerja guru; budaya sekolah dengan kinerja melalui komitmen; komunikasi dengan kinerja guru melalui komitmen. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 250 orang guru di 100 Sekolah yang dipilih secara stratified proporsional random sampling dari populasi sebesar 2.276 orang guru yang tersebar di 274 SD Negeri di Kota Banjarmasin. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriftip dan analisi jalur. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa budaya sekolah memiliki hubungan dengan kinerja, komunikasi memiliki hubungan dengan kinerja, budaya sekolah memiliki hubungan dengan komitmen, komunikasi memiliki hubungan dengan komitmen, komitmen memiliki hubungan dengan kinerja guru, komitmen merupakan perantara hubugan budaya sekolah dengan kinerja guru dan hubungan komunikasi dengan kinerja guru. Kata Kunci: budaya sekolah, komunikasi, komitmen, kinerja THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SCHOOL CULTURE, COMMUNICATION, AND COMMITMENT AND THE STATE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS’ PERFORMANCE Abstract: This study was aimed to describe the relationship between: school culture and tea- chers’ performance; communication and teachers’ commitment; school culture and commitment; communication and commitment; commitment and teachers’ performance; school culture and performance through commitment; communication and teachers’ performance through commitment. The sample consisting of 250 teachers from 100 schools was selected using the stratified proportional random sampling technique from a population of 2,276 teachers teaching in 274 state elementary schools in Banjarmasin Municipality. The data were collected using an instrument which had been validated and which was reliable. The data were analyzed using the descriptive analysis and the path analysis. The findings showed that there was relationship between: school culture and teachers’ performance, communication and performance, school culture and commitment, communication and commitment, commitment and teachers’ performance. Commitment became an intervening variable between school culture and teachers’ performance and between communication and teachers’ performance. <span>Given the high demands of contemporary community on the development of the youth, teachers’ job performance both inside and outside the classroom is of crucial for all partake parties, including school leaders, parents, education policymakers, and community at large. This study was meant to describe job satisfaction of elementary school teachers of Boven Digoel district, Papua, and how it predicts their job performance. To do so, we applied a survey research. Two survey questionnaire were self-administered to 352 teacher-respondent which were incidentally drawn from amongst 412 elementary school teachers of Boven Digoel district, Papua. Derived data were examined statistically using simple linear regression analysis method by utilizing Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 21. Result of data analysis showed that job performance of elementary school teachers of Boben Digoel district is significant positively predicted by their job satisfaction. Finding of this study may be imperative for the school management and education administrator at the regional authority to make paramount efforts of creating valuable plans for enhancing teacher’s satisfaction in order to promote a better job performance of elementary school teachers of Boven Digoel district, Papua.</span>

Elementary school teachers have been charged with the problem of further developing the gifted or talented child in arithmetic. This is an area in which many have done something but in which no one has done enough. The following suguestions are not offered as a panacea for the situation but as practical ideas that may be used and from which others may be developed. In this way it is hoped an additional avenue will be opened for creative thinking in this area. It is intended that these suggestions will be beneficial to any teacher who in some way offers differentiated assignments for the more adept in arithmetic. These procedures should be of assistance in programs utilizing homogeneous sectioning, special teachers, sub-grouping, acceleration, or enrichment.

<p style="text-align: justify;">Creative thinking skills are 21st century learning needs that can be applied through the Scientific Reading Based Project (SRBP) model. The purpose of this study is to empower creative thinking skills through SRBP models in science learning in elementary school teachers’ education students. This research is mixed research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Qualitative research is used to explore students' creative thinking abilities. Quantitative research uses a quasi-experimental approach carried out for six months on the candidates of elementary school teachers’ education. Participants in this study were the candidate of elementary school teachers’ education of 75 people who took the Basic Concept of Science subject. Data collection in this study was through observation, documentation, pre-test, and post-test with essay questions to measure creative thinking skills. The final result of the project is the final product to measure creativity. The data analysis used was an ANOVA test to measure every aspect of creative thinking skill. Qualitative analysis was used to describe the learning process and the final project of creativity. The results showed that there was an increase in creative thinking skills from aspects of flexibility, elaboration, fluency and originality. The SRBP model has a positive effect on improving the ability to think creatively.</p>

<p><em>The purpose of writing this paper is; 1) to understand methods and strategies in applying 21st century competency (4C = critical thinking, creative thinking, communication, and collaborative) and; 2) to show the results of the competence of 21st century elementary school teachers in training curriculum 2013. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The results and discussion of this paper is the strategy of training in the application of 21st century competence and Strengthening Character Education. first teacher  show and give exemplary to the character and competence of the 21st century. The role of teachers as examples must be highlighted. If you want to teach the character, then the teacher must first display their  character. While the results of the application of 21st century competence and Strengthening Character Education after the 2013 curriculum training can be shown by increasing the achievement of the quality report cards on the competency standards of graduates, content, process, and assessment standards. </em></p>
