The ultrasonic imaging research of nursing care for preventing and treating clinical infection of hemodialysis patients based on smart medical big data is studied. 100 hemodialysis patients were selected from May 2019 to May 2020. The patients were randomly divided into the observation group and routine group with 50 cases in each group. The PWV of common carotid artery was measured by ultrasonic rapid imaging technology, including BS value at the beginning of systole and ES value at the end of systole. According to the effect of preventive nursing intervention of intelligent medical treatment, the MHD group adopted preventive nursing intervention, while the routine group adopted traditional nursing service. The infection rate and quality of life score of patients in both groups were evaluated. The results showed that there were significant differences in BS and ES values between the MHD group and PWV in the normal group ( P < 0.05 ). There was no significant difference in BS value and ES value between MHD patients with plaque and those without plaque ( P > 0.05 ). It is proved that the ultrafast ultrasound imaging technology is safe, simple, noninvasive, nonradioactive, and fast and can automatically and accurately detect carotid PWV. It is expected to become a new imaging method for quantitative evaluation of arteriosclerosis degree in MHD patients. Preventive nursing intervention can reduce the incidence of infection in hemodialysis patients and improve their quality of life. Smart medical treatment has brought us a lot of convenience. As patients, we should change our concept, actively participate in it, and contribute to the development of smart medical treatment.

Depression is among the personality traits of schizophrenic patients, which results from psychotic features or is a consequence of a period of psychosis. Depression in schizophrenic patients is one of the important factors affecting their quality of life. The study population of this descriptive and analytic study consists of patients with chronic schizophrenia in Zahedan in 2014. The sample included 60 patients who simultaneously suffered from depression and were selected using random sampling (30 males and 30 females). The research instruments included the Schizophrenia Quality of Life Scale (SQLS) and the Beck Depression Inventory (the inventory was filled out by the tester). In order to form a statistics analysis, we used Pearson correlation and regression multivariate. Investigating the study hypotheses showed that there was a negative correlation between the high level of depression and low quality of life. the relationship between depression and the quality of life subscales showed that in women, the variable of symptoms and complications was a significant predictor; however, the other two variables (energy and motivation and psychosocial) were not significant predictors. In case of men, psychosocial variable was a significant predictor; however, the other two variables (energy and motivation and symptoms and complications) were not significant predictors. In general, depression on these patients makes discontent of life on them; therefore, elimination of their depression on their treatment is necessary.

Abstract Objective: The overall sagittal balance of patient with adult spinal deformity (ASD) is crucial for satisfactory postoperative outcome. SVA is the parameter often used to assess the sagittal balance. However, pelvis often rotates backward to compensate for sagittal imbalance in patients with ASD. In the case, SVA cannot reflect the real sagittal balance. Modified sagittal vertical axis (MSVA) is the parameter we found to better assess the real sagittal balance in patients with ASD. And we want to explore the relationship between MSVA and the quality of life. Methods: We used sample of 60 patients with ASD who underwent long-segment orthopedic surgery (≥4 vertebrae) between the period of 2015 and 2018. The paired-sample t test and Pearson correlation analysis were used for statistical analysis. P value <0.05 was considered significant. Results: SVA, TK, TLK, LL, SS, PT, PI-LL and MSVA were significantly changed in 60 patients preoperatively and postoperatively (p<0.05). The ODI, SRS22, VAS scores were significantly improved postoperatively (p<0.05). Pearson correlation analysis was used to conclude that postoperative SVA, postoperative MSVA and postoperative quality of life score were related. Postoperative MSVA has the strongest correlation with the quality-of-life score. Conclusions: Through spinal orthopedic surgery, the postoperative spinal parameters and quality of life of patients with ASD were significantly improved. MSVA is of great significance for evaluating postoperative sagittal balance and quality of life of patients with ASD.

Abstract Background Patients on hemodialysis have less exercise capacity and lower health-related quality of life than healthy individuals without chronic kidney disease (CKD). One of the factors that may influence exercise behavior among these patients is their perception of exercise benefits and barriers. The present study aimed to assess the perception of hemodialysis patients about exercise benefits and barriers and its association with patients’ health-related quality of life. Methods In this cross-sectional study, 227 patients undergoing hemodialysis were randomly selected from two dialysis centers. Data collection was carried out using dialysis patient-perceived exercise benefits and barriers scale (DPEBBS) and kidney disease quality of life short form (KDQOL-SF). Data were analyzed using SPSS software ver. 21. Results The mean score of DPEBBS was 68.2 ± 7.4 (range: 24 to 96) and the mean KDQOL score was 48.9 ± 23.3 (range: 0 to 100). Data analysis by Pearson correlation coefficient showed a positive and significant relationship between the mean scores of DPEBBS and the total score of KDQOL (r = 0.55, p < 0.001). Moreover, there was a positive relationship between the mean scores of DPEBBS and the mean score of all domains of KDQOL. Conclusion Although most of the patients undergoing hemodialysis had a positive perception of the exercise, the majority of them do not engage in exercise; it could be contributed to the barriers of exercise such as tiredness, muscle fatigue, and fear of arteriovenous fistula injury. Providing exercise facilities, encouraging the patients by the health care provider to engage in exercise programs, and incorporation of exercise professionals into hemodialysis centers could help the patients to engage in regular exercise.

Intradialytic hypertension can reduce the quality of life in hemodialysis patients. Providing appropriate nursing interventions will reduce morbidity, and improve the quality of intradialytic hypertensive patients. Provision of “SEHAT” nursing intervention package in the form of providing support, education and empowering, holistically with attention to therapeutic sensitivity can be applied to overcome patients problems. The purpose of the study was to analyze the "SEHAT" nursing intervention package to improve the quality of life of intradialytic hypertensive patients. The research method was a randomized controlled trial on 40 samples of hemodialysis patients which were divided into 20 group samples and 20 control group samples. The research instrument uses the Indonesian version of the Kidney Disease Quality of Life (KDQOL-36). The intervention was carried out for 4 weeks using the SEHAT nursing intervention package. The results showed an increase in the quality of life scores of respondents in the intervention group after being given SEHAT nursing intervention (p=0.000). There was a significant difference in the quality of life scores between the intervention group and the control group after being given the intervention (p=0.000). The “SEHAT” nursing intervention package is effective for improving the quality of life of intradialytic hypertensive patients.

Introduction: As breast cancer survivors have increased, improving quality of life of the survivors becomes an important issue. The purpose of this study was to examine relationships among menopausal symptoms, depression, and quality of life and to identify the factors affecting the quality of life in premenopausal women with breast cancer. Method: This was a descriptive, correlational study using structured questionnaires for 90 premenopausal women with breast cancer attending the outpatient clinic of a tertiary hospital in Korea. Results: Menopausal symptoms ( r = −0.770, p < .001) and depression ( r = −0.715, p < .001) negatively affected the participants’ quality of life. The major factors affecting quality of life were employment ( t = −2.065, p = .042), depression ( t = −2.375, p = .020), and menopausal symptoms ( t = −3.863, p < .001). Menopausal symptoms were the strongest negative factor (β = −.508) affecting quality of life. Discussion and Conclusions: Developing nursing intervention congruent with the culture of Korean breast cancer women with treatment-induced menopausal symptoms is a high priority.
