The variable included in this study is self-control as an independent variable and as a dependent variable for sexual behavior. This study was conducted in vocational training “X” Mojosari, with a sample of 84 students, using Probability Sampling, Proportional Strict Random Sampling. The data collection technique in this study uses the first two psychological scales of the Likert model, i.e., the thurstone scale for the self-control scale and the sexual behavior scale. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a relationship between self-control and sexual behavior in high school vocational training students. Data analysis was performed using the Pearson product moment correlation statistical technique using the Windows SPSS program. The results of the data analysis of this study indicate a correlation coefficient of 0.856 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05 means that there is a positively relationship between self-control and significant and unidirectional sexual behavior. So that the higher the self control, the more also high sexual behavior in students at vocational high school "X" Mojosari, as well otherwise. The contribution effective of self-control to sexual behavior was 73.2%.

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-control and adolescent hedonism lifestyle in Padang City with a population of 98,884 adolescents and as many as 100 people while the data collection technique uses incidental sampling. Based on the hypothesis test conducted shows that there is a strong relationship between the relationship between self control and adolescent hedonism lifestyle in the city of Padang which is shown by the correlation coefficient rxy = -0,824 with a significant level of correlation p = 0,000. A positive value on the correlation coefficient shows the relationship between self control and the adolescent hedonism lifestyle in Padang City, meaning that the higher the self-control of adolescents the lower the hedonism lifestyle and conversely the more self-control the lower the hedonism lifestyle. The amount of effective contribution (Rsquare) of the hedonism lifestyle variable to self control is 68%, which means that hedonism lifestyle has a contribution of 68% to self control while 32% is influenced by other factors.

Men’s identification with and support for feminism has attracted the interest of masculinity scholars. This study explores an under-researched dimension of this phenomenon, investigating the relationship between feminist identification and sexual behavior. In heterosexual encounters, do feminist men report having sex more recently than those who do not call themselves feminists? During sexual encounters, do feminist men behave differently than non-feminists? In particular, do feminist men organize their sexual behavior in a way that prioritizes their partners’ sexual pleasure to a greater extent than non-feminists? Using representative survey data of Canadian adults, we examine the self-reported sexual behavior of heterosexual Canadian men. We find that self-identifying feminist men report having sex more recently and are more likely to report engaging in breast stimulation and performing oral sex on their partners than non-feminists. We discuss the implications of these findings on the sociological literature on gender and sexuality.

The research method used in this research is quantitative.  The data collection used in this research is by sharing the questionnaire in the form of Google Form starts from July to September. The researchers use non-probability sampling method with voluntary response sampling. Respondents in this study are 150 teenagers. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of data analysis carried out, it is found that there is a significant relationship between conformity to adolescent impulsive buying behavior. Furthermore, the self-control variable as a moderating variable also has a significant effect on the independent and dependent variables in this study. The results of the study found that the conformity variable (X) simultaneously affected the impulsive buying variable (Y) by 73.1%, while 26.9% is influenced by other variables outside the regression equation or variables that are not examined. Other than that, the self-control as the moderation variable can moderate the effect between conformity and impulse buying in adolescents. For further research, there needs other variables that can be conducted to know what affects impulse buying with conducting to other types of society other than an adolescent.

Sexual desire can be one of the antecedents for individual premarital sexual behavior. Otherwise, sexual self-control can prevent individuals from engaging premarital sexual behavior. This study aimed to examine the role of self-control in moderating the relationship between sexual desire and premarital sexual behavior. This study involved 209 emerging adults (18-25 years old) who were dating and not undergoing a long-distance relationship. The current study used Premarital Sexual Permissiveness measurement, dyadic sexual desire subscale from Sexual Desire Inventory-II, general sex-drive and stimulus-elicited sex-drive subscales from Perceived Sexual Control to measure premarital sexual behavior, sexual desire, and sexual self-control respectively. Results of regression analysis showed that sexual self-control did not moderate the relationship between sexual desire and kissing (∆R2 = 0.006, p > 0.05), as well as sexual desire and petting (∆R2 = 0.001, p > 0.05). However, self-control could be a moderator in the relationship between sexual desire and intercourse (∆R2 = 0.027, p < 0.01).
