Among an electricity provider’s non-technical losses, electricity theft has the most severe and dangerous effects. Fraudulent electricity consumption decreases the supply quality, increases generation load, causes legitimate consumers to pay excessive electricity bills, and affects the overall economy. The adaptation of smart grids can significantly reduce this loss through data analysis techniques. The smart grid infrastructure generates a massive amount of data, including the power consumption of individual users. Utilizing this data, machine learning and deep learning techniques can accurately identify electricity theft users. In this paper, an electricity theft detection system is proposed based on a combination of a convolutional neural network (CNN) and a long short-term memory (LSTM) architecture. CNN is a widely used technique that automates feature extraction and the classification process. Since the power consumption signature is time-series data, we were led to build a CNN-based LSTM (CNN-LSTM) model for smart grid data classification. In this work, a novel data pre-processing algorithm was also implemented to compute the missing instances in the dataset, based on the local values relative to the missing data point. Furthermore, in this dataset, the count of electricity theft users was relatively low, which could have made the model inefficient at identifying theft users. This class imbalance scenario was addressed through synthetic data generation. Finally, the results obtained indicate the proposed scheme can classify both the majority class (normal users) and the minority class (electricity theft users) with good accuracy.

In modern era most of the work being completed by the new and advanced various technology. Most of the industries are being run on the robotics technologies. But in INDIA most of the company are running in various technologies as like embedded system, plc, Arduino for sensing the alcohol detection and gas detection system and most important thing microcontroller. In this paper we discuss the ARM microcontroller based wireless industrial automation system. This automation consists the coordinator module and sensor module. In which one module is connected with the monitoring computer that is called the coordinator module and for connecting with the monitor of the computer it is also called the centralized unit. And the sensor module is an ARM microcontroller for a monitoring and controlling the whole plant. The coordinator unit main work is to collects the all type of data from the sensor module and provide that information to the IP network. For better communication between these two modules, we use the best technology is ZIGBEE technology. Its main work to preset the changing and control the plant various parameter. ARM microcontroller using the embedded c language coding. This paper we do the deeply study about the ARM microcontroller and about the wireless industrial automation system and the term of ZIGBEE technology.

An intelligent detection system of machineroomless elevator is designed in this paper as well as the diagrams of system’s network structure and workflow. The system chooses the CC2430 chip based on ZigBee technology as controller for system data collection and transmission node, designs the circuits schematic for the elevator sensor nodes and gateway nodes and the monitoring center to realize real-time display of the elevator running state. The test result shows that the system is reliable, small in size, low in cost and consumption which means a tryout for the application of internet of things in elevators.

This paper presents the development of a novel nuclear radiation monitoring and detection system. With the lightweight and global positioning features, the implemented wireless nuclear detection node can easily be deployed to discover unusual or abnormal radioactivity and map the events. ZigBee-based multi-hop mesh communication is adopted between nuclear detection nodes. All wireless nuclear detection nodes are designed with two working modes, continuous operation and timing operation. The two modes can be switched at any specified time to save energy consumption. Meanwhile, the features of anti-jamming against 802.11 network of ZigBee technology are tested and evaluated.
