Kata kunci: Kinerja perawat, kualitas kehidupan kerja, kesehatanAbstractThis study aims to see the effect and magnitude of health variables and variable of the quality of work life on the performance of nurses working in Tangerang General Hospital. Health variables include family medical history, living environment, lifestyle behaviors, and health status. Crosssectional method used in this study. Data were analyzed with the approach to Structural Equation Model (SEM) using software Smart-PLS. In this study nurses who serve in all services at Tangerang General Hospital was chosen as the unit of analysis with 250 nurses was selected as the samples and multistage random sampling were used. The results of the analysis showed that the performance of nurses in Tangerang General Hospital was influenced by all the variables which means that the theoretical model proposed in this study can be used. The quality of work life of nurse was the greatest predictor variables in the model that affect the performance ofnurses. Thus, this study concluded that the variable performance of nurses is affected by many variables with its influence was relatively small (6,16%). Therefore all the variables offered in this study will intervene not largeenough results to produce an excellent performance of the nurses at Tangerang General Hospital and required additional intervention efforts on other variables.Key words: Nurses performance, quality of work life, health

The purpose of this article is to determine the role that Quality of Work Life plays in the perceived service delivery and productivity of food and beverage employees in Potchefstroom, South Africa. The questionnaires were distributed at selected food and beverage establishments, and a total of 224 questionnaires were included in the statistical analysis. The data analysis consisted of a demographic profile, a factor analysis and a structural equation model. The results indicated that job, creativity and aesthetics, actualisation, organisational support and employee commitment attributes each exert an influence on the perceived service delivery and productivity of employees. This implies that food and beverage managers should try to improve the working conditions of employees as well as provide an appropriate level of recognition to hardworking employees. Management should consider the recommendations that are made in terms of the job satisfaction levels of food and beverage service employees, as they are able to positively influence organisational performance and success.

This study aims to investigate the impact of managers’ transformational leadership on employees’ quality of work life through the mediation effect of firms’ climate of trust in the hospitality industry. The study was conducted with operational employees working in three-star hotels in Bangladesh. Data were gathered from 186 respondents by a structured questionnaire and analyzed by SPSS 21 and SmartPLS 3.0 software. To test the hypothesized model, the study used a partial least squares structural equation model (PLS-SEM) by SmartPLS 3.0. The results of this study revealed the strong direct effects (p < .05) of managers’ transformational leadership (β = 0.433) and firm’s trust climate (β = 0.183) on the employees’ quality of work life with a variance (R2) of 31.9%, and also the significant impact of managers’ transformational leadership (β = 0.599) on firm’s trust climate with a variance (R2) of 35.9%. The study also exposed a significant mediation effect (p < .05) of firms’ climate of trust (β = 0.112) in the relationship between managers’ transformational leadership and employees’ quality of work life. The findings suggest that a trust climate is such an internal mechanism that can convert transformational leadership practices into employee satisfaction with their professional life, while transformational managers can build the climate as well as enrich people’s lives at work.

The problems in this study are: (1) Does Spirituality in the workplace (workplace spirituality) affect the performance of nurses in the General Hospital dr. Chasan Boesoerie North Maluku Province?; (2) Does the quality of work life affect the performance of nurses in General Hospital dr. Chasan Boesoerie North Maluku Province?; and (3) Does Spirituality in the workplace (workplace spirituality) affect the quality of work life (quality of worklife) in the General Hospital dr. Chasan Boesoerie North Maluku Province? The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Spirituality in the workplace and the quality of work life on nurse performance, and the influence of Spirituality in the workplace on the quality of work life in RSUD dr. Chasan Boesoerie North Maluku Province. The total population target is 326 nurses. The sampling method or technique used is random sampling, which is random sampling. Based on the sample formula from Taro Yamane, a study sample of 180 nurses was obtained. The analytical model used to test hypotheses is path analysis and using LISREL as a statistical test tool. The results of the study found that: (1) spirituality in the workplace had a positive and significant effect on nurse performance; (2) Quality of work life has a positive and significant effect on nurse performance; and (3) Workplace Spirituality has a positive and significant effect on the quality of work life. Because of that General Hospital dr. Chasan Boesoerie needs to improve spirituality through: 1) creating an adequate work environment, 2) providing motivation to nurses through training including in the job trainning, 3) providing opportunities for nurses to reevaluate the results of their work assessment, and 4) giving understanding of the nurses about the organization's vision, mission and goals in detail. This can be done through workshops, or official programmed meetings. For other researchers who want to develop this research, it is necessary to conduct research that uses the same or different variables that have an influence on performance. Keywords:Workplace Spirituality, Quality of Work Life, and Nurses Performance. The problems in this study are: (1) Does Spirituality in the workplace (workplace spirituality) affect the performance of nurses in the General Hospital dr. In order to improve and maintain competitiveness in the hotel sector, the key elements of success must be available, which is headed by an efficient employee, so it is essential that the employees' performance be at its best. This study examined the effect of job satisfaction (JS) on job performance (JP), organisational structure (OS) and leadership style (LS) on (JS), and Quality of work-life (QWL) on (JP) among five-star hotels employees in Jordan. The study also examined the moderating role of quality of work-life on the variable’s relationships. A questionnaire was used as the main instrument for data collection from 430 employees of five-star hotels. Data analysis was conducted with the help of Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) to determine the level of relationships among (JS), (OS), (LS), (JP), and (QWL). According to the obtained findings, there is a positive relationship between JS and QL on JP, and QWL has a partial moderating role in the relationship between JS and JP. The study findings motivate future studies to carry out studies of the same caliber in other sectors of Jordan, and also in other contexts based on different perspectives.
