Today, distance education institutions are different from other traditional organizational structures because they require a virtual structuring. Therefore, the concept and practice of educational leadership is considered as a special area in distance education management process. As a requirement of 21st century, distance education leadership has been seen as a matter or necessity to be developed and to be investigated in the management of distance education. In this chapter, it is aimed to bring the insights of various researchers to define characteristics or qualifications of leadership in distance education, which are or should be different from traditional educational leadership through a literature review relevant to leadership and theories in leadership, educational leadership, and distance education leadership.

Information technology is an indispensable element in applications in today’s industrial era. In addition to modern management approaches, software just as well as hardware is of great importance to ensure competitive advantage if the company needs to keep pace with industrial requirements. Information sector can be seen as a competition opportunity for emerging countries. To be able to exploit this opportunity, companies need to be agile and innovative. In this paper, we suggest a process innovation which is intended to be a new model for designing an efficient and effective software process. The model was applied at a software company, and the results of this study are reported here. Lean and agile approaches were used, and as a result, the firm achieved significant improvements in cost, time, labor force, quality, internal and external customer satisfaction, speed, reliability and productivity.

Specific services provided to students are generally the same, but the management and utilization processes are different. Some of the special services in schools are services: BK, library, laboratory, extracurricular, UKS, cafeteria, cooperative, OSIS, transportation, dormitory, acceleration, inclusion class, and PSG / internship. (1) planning, consisting of needs analysis and preparation of special service programs; (2) organizing, consisting of division of tasks to carry out special service programs; (3) Mobilization, Arrangements in the implementation of special services, and (4) Supervision, Program Control, and Supervision of Special Service Programs in Schools. Special services are needed that need to be managed with an effective management process in order to maintain the education management process, specifically at the school level.

This article describes the Special Services Administration which is part of the Education administration. Special service administration consists of: (1) Library. (2) UKS, (3) Canteen, (4) Transportation, (5) Labor (6) Worship Facilities, (7) Cooperatives, (8) Dormitory, purpose of special service administration to facilitate all activities in schools and meet student needs so that learning objectives can be achieved effectively and efficiently.The special service management functions include: (1) planning, in the form of needs analysis and preparation of special service programs; (2) organizing, in the form of division of tasks to carry out special service programs; (3) mobilization, in the form of regulation in the implementation of special services, and (4) supervision, in the form of program monitoring and performance evaluation of special service programs in schools. So that special services need to be managed with an effective management process in order to strengthen the education management process, especially at the school level. Special services are held in schools with the aim of facilitating the implementation of teaching in order to achieve the goals of education in schools.

Abstract - Administration of special services for an activity or business to assist, serve, direct or complete all existing activities to achieve the goal. Special services provided to students are generally the same, but the management and utilization processes are different. Some forms of special services in schools are: libraries, laboratories, UKS, religious facilities, dormitories, cooperatives, and transportation.
