The Object of the Study. Human potential. The Subject of the Study. The level and dynamics of development of the human potential of the population of the RF subjects. The Purpose of the Study. Identifying differences in development of the human potential of the population of the RF subjects and opportunities for their reduction. The Main Provisions of the Article. Human potential and its development are considered article both as the purpose and the means of human progress reflecting extension of human opportunities including creative (resource) capabilities. Theoretical and instrumental interpretation of the main components of human potential based on its reproductive structure is analysed. The components include a demographic component, components of population health and education, and a sociocultural component. For estimation of human potential indicators for each of its component, as well as a methodology for both component-by-component and composite (aggregate of all components) calculations using the index method are proposed. The methodology is applied to all RF subjects using the Rosstat data for 2010 and 2015. On the basis of the obtained estimates the authors have identified the levels of human potential development in regions that enabling to range them by this level and analyze the direction of its changes in dynamics. Components have been found out a weak and strong impact on the composite estimates as well as specifics of this impact by groups of regions. It has been established that demographic and health components leave much to be desired, particularly in northern regions characterized by harsh natural climatic conditions of life in particular. In North Caucasus regions the problem of raising educational level of population has not lost its relevance. It is shown that despite the general growth in the level of human potential development in most subjects of the Russian Federation over the period in question it remains insufficient for implementing modernization processes in some regions.

The carpel is the female reproductive structure composed of a set of stigma, style and ovary. Normally passionflower have three carpels, however, some cultivars have this structure in greater quantity. The objective of this work was to identify relationships between the number of carpels and the physical characteristics of BRS Gigante Amarelo fruits. The flowers with three and four carpels were marked, pollinated and the fruits harvested from these flowers analyzed for transverse diameter, longitudinal diameter, pericarp thickness, fruit mass, pulp mass, pulp ratio, number and weight of seeds. A completely randomized design with 10 replicates per treatment was used and each plot had the average of 3 fruits. The data were submitted to variance analysis and the means were compared by the Tukey test at 5% of probability. The fruits generated by flowers with 4 carpels were 18,30% heavier, their pulp were on average 20.75% heavier, presented transverse diameter 7,53% superior to that of fruits generated by flowers with 3 carpels. Similar increments were identified regarding the number of seeds and the weight of seeds per fruit that increased 18,85% and 52.42%, respectively. This result indicates that cv. BRS Yellow Giant with 4 carpels generates heavier fruits, pulp and seeds with a more spherical shape.

Scientists have researched and scientificallysubstantiated the significant effect of the use of project management tools on all business entities and on the country's economy as a whole. At the same time, in modern conditionsactive economic development and turbulenceenvironment, lead to the fact that considerable attention should be given tothe strategic line of conduct of enterprises. The strategy allows to take into account the capabilities of the enterprise, as well as investment projects in various strategic business areas. Despite the fact that many sources describe the process of the development of logistics systems through investment projects; in practice it is very difficult to implement. For the implementation of investment projects of the enterprise it is necessary to present this process in the form of a set of formalized procedures or in the form of step-by-step sequence of actions for choosing the best option for an investment project. This problem is especially relevant for logistics systems, because their activities are carried out in the form of many projects. Increasing the volume of investments and improving the efficiency of investment management in logistics systems is one of the fundamental conditions for reducing the duration of the production and sales cycle, which creates the preconditions for economic growth by accelerating the turnover of funds. The production potential of economic entities, their efficiency, and hence the sectoral and reproductive structure of all public production will largely depend on the investment projects, both at the micro and at the macro logistical level.Unsolved in practical terms of the problem of improving the investment process and management of investment activities in logistics systems, the need to develop a methodology for analyzing and modeling the investment activities of logistics systems in the context of the transformation of the economy, as well as insufficient coverage of this problem in domestic and foreign literature determined the relevance of the research topic.

The method developed for the treatment of the classical drift models of Wright and Moran, and their generalizations, in Cannings (1974) are extended to more complex haploid models. The possibility of subdivision of the population, as for migration models and age-structured models, is incorporated. Models with variable size or reproductive structure determined by another Markov chain are analysed.

During fieldwork in the summer of 1977 in the vicinity of Ennadai Lake (District of Keewatin, N.W.T., Canada), a stand of upland black spruce (Piceamariana (Mill.) B.S.P.) possessing bisexual strobiles was encountered within the forest–tundra ecotone. This is the first reported occurrence of bisexual strobiles for this species. It is hypothesized that the occurrence of male and female reproductive tissue in the same reproductive structure is an indicator of stress in this arboreally marginal environment.

The female reproductive structure of Myrica pensylvanica comprises a gynoecium and four second-order inflorescence bracts. The gynoecium terminates the second-order inflorescence axis. The receptacle, comprising second- and third-order inflorescence axis tissue, forms most of the gynoecial wall and gives rise to the wax-secreting papillae. Papillae, which are vascularized, are not initiated in the same manner as trichomes. An hypothesis is formulated whereby papillae may be homologized to inflorescence bracts.
