Abstract In this work, the nanocatalyst of g-C3N4@L-arginine was prepared that synthesis of it in comparison with the synthesis of other catalysts was convenient; initially, this prepared nanocatalyst was evaluated and verified by FT-IR, EDX, XRD, TGA, and FESEM analysis, and in the next step, the performance of nanocatalyst in the synthesis of 1, 4-dihydropyridine, 4H-chromene, and 2, 3-dihydro quinazoline derivatives were examined with high yield. Properties such as high thermal stability, easy separation of reaction media, use in various multicomponent reactions, and reusability have caused that this novel nanocatalyst was changed into a unique catalyst in its own age.

A silicon-containing arylacetylene resin, poly[(dimethylsilyl)eneethynylene phenyleneethynylene] with methoxy silyl terminal group (abbreviated MSAR) was synthesized. The resin and tetraethoxysilane (abbreviated TEOS) were used to prepare silicon-containing arylacetylene resin (abbreviated SAR) /SiO2 hybrid materials by a sol-gel method. Both the curing process of the xerogel and thermal properties of the hybrid materials were studied by FT-IR, DSC and TGA. The thermogravimetric analysis of the hybrid materials showed that Td5 (temperature of 5% weight loss) was 696°C and char yield was 92.1% at 800°C in nitrogen. A Si-C-O ceramic residue was obtained in high yield(86.8%) by sintering up to 1450°C in nitrogen.

AbstractIn this work, graphitic carbon nitride-supported l-arginine (g-C3N4@l-arginine) nanocatalyst was synthesized and evaluated using FT-IR, EDX, XRD, TGA, and FESEM analyses. The performance of the prepared nanocatalyst was examined in the synthesis of 1,4-dihydropyridine, 4H-chromene, and 2,3-dihydro quinazoline derivatives. The novel g-C3N4@l-arginine nanocatalyst showed high thermal stability, easy separation from reaction media, the capability to be used in various multicomponent reactions, and acceptable reusability.

In this paper, the intercalation of methyl-orange (MO) into Mg/Al (ratio=2:1) layered double hydroxide (LDH) was carried out using reconstruction method to obtain MOLDH nanocomposite material. Its chemical composition, crystal structure, appearance and thermal stability were characterized by XRD, FT-IR, TEM, TG-DTA and element analysis. It has been found that the MOLDH still keeps the typical lamellar structure, and the guest MO has been intercalated into the layers of the host LDH. The MOLDH’s disassembly temperature is higher more than 30°C than that of guest molecule MO, so it can be used as a new dye with high thermal stability.

In this paper, heteropoly acids were supported onto mesopore materials MCM-48 with lager surface area and high thermal stability. The supported heteropoly acids catalysts were characterized by FT-IR, XRD, TEM and N2 adsorption-desorption thechniques. In addition, the effects of supported contents of heteropoly acids on degradation rate also had been researched.

Hyperbranched poly(diethynylbenzene-silane) (hb-PDEBS) was synthesized through polycondensation reaction of diethynylbenzene Grignard reagent (A2) and trichlorosilane (B3), and its structure was characterized by FT-IR, 1H-NMR, GPC and Elemental Analysis. The degree of branching of hb-PDEBS was defined by 29Si-NMR and calculated to be about 0.68. The curing behavior of hb-PDEBS was investigated by DSC. Thermal stability of cured hb-PDEBS was examined by TGA, and its residue at 1000°C under nitrogen was 80.6%. Hb-PDEBS displayed a strong absorption due to π-π* transition and exhibited the most intensity structured emission with a maximum around 500 nm.
