The instrument for data collection was a structured questionnaire developed by the researchers and validated by the experts. The reliability of the instrument was determined using Cronbach Alpha, which yielded an overall index 0.72. Mean and standard deviation were used in answering research questions while hypotheses were tested using t-test. It was found that governmental measures items promoted democracy through business education for national security. The study also revealed that lecturers‟ measures also promotes democracy through business education for national security. The purpose of our study is to enhance the understanding of relationships between conflict management style, team coordination, and performance in multicultural project team contexts. We investigate how conflict management can contribute to team effectiveness through the mediation of the level of team coordination by collecting data from 126 team leaders and supervisors and 378 members nested in different multicultural projects in the construction industry. Our results show that, contrary to the findings from prior research in other team contexts, an avoiding style of conflict management can have a positive impact on the performance of multicultural project teams.

Student readiness continues to be an issue among the professoriate (Cramer, 2010; Greenberg, 2010; Kelley, 2010).  Enrolment growth trends in Canadian universities suggest this concern may remain prevalent for some time (Overall, 2011).  At the secondary level, government bodies have developed and implemented policies and standardized assessment instruments with the expressed means of improving accountability and student academic proficiency.  Despite these efforts, there does not appear to be a perceived change in the readiness of students attending tertiary institutions.  The purposes of this study were to determine the current state of alignment between high school and university learning outcomes and assessment standards, and outline policies/factors that would establish or strengthen this alignment.

Abstract In this paper, the various problems of the franchise industry in South Korea are discussed and analyzed, and solutions to these based on the research results are presented and discussed. In this study, hypotheses were formulated for creating a model. Conflict, management, fairness, and performance were designated as variables, and how these variables affect one another was investigated. A research was conducted to verify the research model, reliability analysis was conducted through the Cronbach’s coefficient, and the study hypotheses were verified using factor and regression analyses. The conflicts between and the achievements of franchisors and franchisees were examined, along with the relationships among conflict, management, fairness, and performance. Management was subdivided into the overall management by the franchisor and the franchisee’s self-management and autonomy while fairness was subdivided into distribution, procedure, and interaction fairness between the franchisor and franchisee.
