The Covid-19 pandemic makes massive use of information technology (IT) in various fields. This study aims to evaluate the use of IT in Computer Networks lectures at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Riau in the era of Covid-19 Pandemic. This causal comparative study uses data from the results of student achievement in the Even Semester Academic Year 2019/2020. There are two lecture models given to students namely synchronous and asynchronous models. The use of the model is based on the type of lecture material provided. Furthermore, the results of student achievement obtained at the end of the semester are compared with the results of student achievement in the previous year that used physical face-to-face lectures. The results of this study indicate that there was an increase of 7.17% in the student achievement during the use of IT in lectures during the Covid-19 Pandemic with the effective synchronous lectures duration from 60 to 100 minutes.

Recently, Leunberger and Novikoff (1) have shown that the endothelial cells are the primary sites of Na+-K+-ATPase, a key mechanism in the control of hydration of cornea. Since this enzyme would be a useful marker for our study of endothelial damage by CO2 laser (2), we have undertaken a comparative study for the localization of this enzyme at ultrastructural level with different methods. In the course of this work we developed a new method with the use of 5-nitroindoxyl phosphate as a synthetic substrate. This new substrate, like p-nitrophenyl phosphate (3), meets the requirements for the demonstration of the K+ activated step of dephosphorylation of ATPase. In addition, it can be used with glutaraldehyde fixed tissue, thereby offering an important advantage over the previous method (3).Rabbit corneas were freshly excised under pentobarbitol anesthesia.

An inoculation technique, in which cultures of Leptosphaerulina briosiana (Poll.) Graham & Luttrell grown on filter paper soaked in 20% mixed vegetable juice, V-8 brand, are suspended over alfalfa plants and allowed to discharge spores onto them, was developed and compared with previously described inoculation methods. The new method was found to be superior and the inoculum, in contrast to that of the similar V-8 agar method, was more easily prepared and applied, could be watered to prevent drying our and could be stored in a frozen state between inoculations. Less than 5% of the seedlings and mature plants of four species of Medicago inoculated by this method appeared to be resistant.
