This study attempt to determine the direct effect of innovation on company performance and its indirect effect through Management Accounting Information Systems (MAIS) as an mediating/intervening variable. Samples were managers in the manufacturing industry that produces Crude Palm Oil (CPO) operating in Riau Province. Data collected through questionnaires and processed using SEM-PLS. The results found that innovation affects firm performance. Management Accounting Information Systems mediates the effect of innovation and firm performance. Research on MAIS as intervening variable in the palm oil industry was first carried out especially in Indonesia. Innovations made by company through a good Management Accounting Information System will improve the performance of CPO producing company.

The research examines the influence of the accounting information systems and internal controls on the company performance. The population in this research is all palm oil companies registered at the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) of Aceh Barat.  The sampling technique used is saturation sampling. This research uses primary data which obtained through the questionnire results. The data were collected 68 questioners from 3 palm oil companies. Data were processed using SPSS version 22 and analyzed using multiple linear regression, The results show that (1) accounting information systems and internal controls simultaneously, significantly affecting company performance (2) accounting information systems has a positive and significant effect on company performance (3) internal control has a positive and significant effect on company performance

Management accounting information system (SIAM) is used as a tool to produce financial and non-financial / management accounting information that is used to assist executive managers or internal parties in planning resource allocation, supervision, evaluation, and performance evaluation, both financial performance and non-financial performance including managerial performance and employee performance. Management accounting information systems refer to normative matters, but when management accounting information systems are implemented it has unexpected or unexpected consequences so that it can affect the satisfaction of users of information systems, this is because in the context of the organization and socially not well understood by users. This research was conducted on general insurance in Bandung where the respondents were operational managers using an explanatory survey method. Testing data using simple regression The results of research on insurance companies in Bandung found that business strategies affect the quality of management accounting information systems

<p>This research aims to examine and analyze the influence of customization strategy on company performance with management accounting information systems as an intervening variable. In this research, the target population was the umrah travel agency registered at the Ministry of Religion in Bandung. Data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires addressed to the Director / Manager / Division Head of the company. Data analysis consists of descriptive and verification analysis. The results showed that the customization strategy, management accounting information systems and customization strategies that are intervening by management accounting information system have a positive effect on company performance. Based on the evaluation of structural models, the customization strategy in intervening management accounting system information gives a positive effect better than the direct effect with value 0.216. Management accounting information systems is needed to overcome uncertainties in determining and assessing the causal relationships that occur due to product customization that is undergoing constant changes to the product design and process. This research is also expected to contribute conceptually to the company in determining further policies regarding the performance of a company to be more effective in its implementation.</p><p> </p>

The study aims to prove empirically; (i) the influence of the business environment for the application of management accounting information systems; (ii) the influence of ethics on the application of management accounting information systems; (iii) the influence of organizational culture on the implementation of management accounting information systems; and (iv) the effect of the application of management accounting information system on the quality of management accounting information. The motivation of this study due to a phenomenon of having an integration on management accounting information system whereby the information generated is not qualified, as well as the uncertainty of business environment, ethics and organizational culture which are yet to have optimal conditions. The method used is explanatory research with a survey approach, using a statistical tool of SEM Partial Linear Regression, with the aim to obtain facts concerning the occurance of phenomena, seek actual and systematic information on the application of management accounting information systems, and the quality of accounting information management. The results showed that all variable of the business environment, ethics, organizational culture affect the application of accounting information management system; and the application of management accounting information system affects the quality of information management accounting.

Kertas kerja ini melaporkan hasil kajian yang menerangkan hubungan antara kecanggihan Teknologi Maklumat (IT) dan prestasi firma yang bersaiz kecil dan sederhana (SMEs), dengan memasukkan ke dalam model kajian, keupayaan sistem perakaunan pengurusan untuk menghasilkan maklumat perakaunan pengurusan (kapasiti MAS). Bagi menguji hubungan tersebut, data telah dikumpul daripada 310 firma menggunakan kaedah soal selidik. Hasil ujian menunjukkan bahawa kecanggihan IT merupakan penentu kepada kapasiti MAS, sementara kapasiti MAS pula akan menentukan prestasi firma. Dalam kata lain, kapasiti MAS memainkan peranan sebagai penghubung antara kecanggihan IT dengan prestasi firma. Interpretasi hasil ujian ini ialah firma yang menggunakan IT yang lebih canggih akan dapat menghasilkan maklumat perakaunan pengurusan yang mencukupi dan seterusnya dapat meningkatkan prestasi firma. Kata kunci: Teknologi Maklumat, sistem maklumat, sistem perakaunan pengurusan, sistem maklumat perakaunan, industri kecil dan sederhana This paper reports the results of a study which offers an explanation for the relationship between Information Technology (IT) sophistication and performance of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), by incorporating into the model of the capability of management accounting systems to generate management accounting information (MAS capacity). To assess the relationship, data were collected from 310 (25% response rate) SMEs by way of questionnaire surveys. The results indicate that IT sophistication is a determinant of MAS capacity, which, in turn, is a determinant of firm performance. In other words, MAS capacity plays a mediating role in the relationship between IT sophistication and firm performance. An interpretation of the results is that those firms that employed sophisticated IT can generate sufficient management accounting information and thereby improve performance. The advancement in technology has enabled companies to generate and use accounting information system.  Accounting information system (AIS) is a computer-based application which conveys a new inclination of change from the conservative method of accounting to a computerised method. These advances in information and communication technology (ICT) have reduced the time and cost of transactions by aiding increased and improved transactions and communication for business dealings. It has also improved and advanced the efficiency of businesses by computerising existing operations to improve the performance of their operations. Accounting Information Systems (AIS) can be used by the organizations as a device for achieving a stronger, reliable, and more corporate culture to survive in this competitive environment. Accounting information systems also assist companies to gauge the risk of some operations or predict future warnings using sophisticated statistical software applications. The main objective of this paper is to examine the usage of Accounting Information System for effective decision making and improvedinternal control system on firm performance in which the qualitative data was used reviewing various literatures and other secondary data. This study providesvalue added in accounting literature given the scarcity of works dealing with the relationship between the application and use of AIS and evaluating overall firm performances
