Agroecosystem plays an important role in the national economy. However, the role of agroecosystem in education in the form of teaching and learning has not been used optimally. It is less in providing opportunities for students to develop their mindset based on their abilities so that the students do not understand the potential requiring the surrounding area. Learning models that can provide opportunities for students to develop are suitable with the 2013 curriculum. Modification of collaborative learning Cells with Brain-Based Learning (BBL LC) model makes the learning appropriate for the 2013 curriculum. The purpose is to obtain a valid, effective, and practical model which is suitable for the junior high school science learning in the agroecosystem area. The research type is development research (R & D) by using the 4-D model but, only use three stages; Define, Design, and Develop stages without using Disseminate stage. This research was conducted at Junior High School 7 Jember. The data collection techniques were filling out the validation sheet, interview, observation, test, and documentation. The data analysis techniques include data analysis from the validation results, model analysis, and model effectiveness analysis. The model validity was the average results of the product validation (85.81%) in a very valid category. The model effectiveness was the average of¬N-gain learning outcomes (0.53) and students' problem-solving skill questionnaires (75.87% ) in a good category. The model practicality was from the teacher and student response questionnaires with an average of about 92.94% and 94% which belongs to a very practical category.

This research was about developing the module of human circulatory system science literacy-based and containing creative character for Junior High School students. PISA result 2018 showed science literacy skill in Indonesia was still low. The learning material spread nowadays contains few creative character content. This research aimed to describe the validity of the Science Learning Module of Junior High School Science Literacy-Based and contain creative character in a human circulatory system based on the experts’ assessment. The module was developed using the 4 D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate); however, this research only until the development stage, namely the experts’ validation. The instrument used in this research was a validation sheet. The research results show that the module has an excellent validity level reviewed from five aspects: (1) the aspect of module format obtains score 93.33 in highly valid criteria, (2) the language aspect obtains score 94.17 in highly valid criteria, (3) the aspect of students’ module content obtains score 91.67 in highly valid criteria, (4) presentation aspect obtains score 92.59 with highly valid criteria, (5) the aspect of teaching material benefit obtains score 91.67 also with highly valid criteria. Based on the research results obtained, it can be concluded that the Science learning module of Junior High School Science literacy based on a creative character in human circulatory system material is feasible to use.

Integration among of science branches, ICT, and character values in learning process is necessary conductedin Junior High School. Science learning in Junior High School should be conducted because Science is an unity. Fact shows that Science in Junior High School is still separated. Purpose of this research is to produce a ICT learning material of integrated Science and to determine its validity result. This result can be categorized into research and development. There are five stages of this research, those are: to know potency and problem, to collect the information, to design the ICT learning material, and to valid the ICT learning material. Base on the development of ICT learning material can be stated two results of this research. First. Main menus of integrated Science learning material consist of home, identities, competency, introduction, learning material, exercise, competency test, references, and supporting menus. Second, validity result of integrated Science learning material is very good with average value is 85.90.

The purpose of this developmental research was to develop a scientific approach based science worksheet on the dynamic electrical material topic for ninth-grade junior high school students.  The worksheet were developed based on scientific approach. The stages include:  observing, asking questions, gathering information, processing information, and communicating. The development model used is the 4-D Model consists of 4 stages: define,  design, develop, and desimanate. The results of the validation, a small and large group trials indicated that the used of the scientific approach based science worksheet was appropriate for use. Thus, the developed worksheets can be used in the process of learning for Junior high school science students. Keywords : Worksheet , Scientific approach

The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of an inquiry-based virtual reality (VR) science lab used in junior high school science classes. The Scientific Investigation VR Lab (SIVRLAB) is designed for 9th-grade students to learn about electrochemical cells. It is situated in a guided problem-solving context, where learners need to review the concept of oxidation-reduction reactions and assemble a voltaic cell to save a robot. The SIVRLAB features several cognitive supports and guides for students to plan and record experiments and resolve the problem. It has both a head-mounted display (HMD) version and a desktop VR version. The study recruited 66 9th graders from three classes to evaluate the two versions of the SIVRLAB. The students were assigned to one of three conditions, namely, (1) using immersive HMD SIVRLAB individually, (2) using desktop SIVRLAB individually, and (3) observing one student use immersive HMD SIVRLAB. The students were briefly introduced to the concept of electrochemical cells in the first class and were instructed to use the SIVRLAB sessions in the next class. The results from knowledge pre- and post-tests, a user experience survey, and students’ reflections were collected and analyzed qualitatively. The findings revealed that students who used the desktop VR obtained the highest test scores among the three groups. However, in the follow-up physical laboratory test, the performance of the students in the original HMD VR experimental group was better than those in the desktop VR experimental group. The paper also discusses student feedback and teacher observations regarding the design and interaction with immersive VR. Lastly, the implications of the study and recommendations for future studies are presented.
