Greater Cairo Region (GCR) is the largest metropolitan area on the African continent and the Arab world. It accommodates 16.1 million inhabitants representing 19% of Egypt's total population. Today, critical urban issues arise from the sheer size of the metropolis GCR and from its population density. Traffic congestion is on the top of these issues. This research focuses on the significant role that hubs (Multi Modal Platforms) can play in enhancing the GCR transportation infrastructure. Ramses square area in Cairo is selected to demonstrate a systematic solution to solve the problems resulted from the interference of multi uses activities and transportation modes in central areas of capital cities. Nizar Qabbani was a Syrian poet, publisher, and diplomat. He was largely considered Syria’s national poet, and one of the most prominent contemporary figures in the Arab world. Born in Damascus on 21 March 1923, he studied law at Damascus University. After graduating in 1945, he worked for the Syrian Foreign Ministry, serving in several capital cities, including Beirut, Cairo, Istanbul, Madrid, and London. By the time he tendered his resignation in 1966, he had established a publishing house in Beirut, which carried his name. He died in London on 30 April 1998, and was buried in Damascus. His work was featured not only in his two dozen volumes of poetry and in regular contributions to the Arabic language newspaper Al-Hayat, but also in lyrics sung by Syrian, Lebanese, Egyptian, Iraqi, and other vocalists who helped popularize his work. He is one of the major Arab writers to have sparked major controversy and instigated change in Arab societies.

Despite numerous campaigns on road safety for the university population, driving attitudes off campus is often reflected on campus. Thus, the paper reviews the literature on why traffic congestion and accidents occur on campus with a focus on drivers' attitudes. The scope of the investigation will be the students, staff, and other university stakeholders who regularly drive on campus. The approach for this paper is more of a literature review with narratives and descriptions of the campus topology. This paper explores a framework that combines Geographic information System (GIS) with Hedonic pricing method in improving the analysis and determining the value of green spaces with housing prices in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. The previous study found that proposed combination between GIS and Hedonic pricing method for the same purpose has not been fully explored particularly in Malaysia. Findings show the proposed combined method leads to improved understanding and representation of urban dynamics and regeneration process, furthermore will encourage a sustainable setting of the environmental amenities in improving the geospatial technologies respectively.Keywords: GIS, Hedonic Pricing Method, green Spaces and urban regenerationeISSN 2398-4295 © 2018. The impacts of coastal reclamation to the coastal community have usually been overlooked. This paper presents the impacts of coastal reclamation to the quality of life of Tanjung Tokong’s community. The questionnaire survey data was analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS), and the interview was content analyzed. The results show only three variable, influenced quality of life the most. Flash flood and traffic congestion negatively correlated with quality of life while health positively correlated with quality of life. It recommended that the coastal reclamation process should consider any temporary and permanent negative impact to the community.Keywords: Coastal Areas; Coastal reclamation;Quality of life;Social Impacts.eISSN 2398-4279 © 2018. This paper will examine the literature review on children in urban space of Kuala Lumpur. Challenges in addressing urban issues vary according to the local context. Urban public spaces in a city did not aim to prioritize children, and it stops them from having independent mobility and freedom to play and socialize. The study will provide a comprehensive review of child-friendly urban spaces intervention focusing on high-rise living in Kuala Lumpur by synthesizing challenges, benefits and recommendations of possible interventions for child-friendly urban spaces. In many countries, bicycle sharing service has been integrated into the urban public transportation system. This is because bicycle sharing is seen as a good alternative for the environment. Bicycle sharing is particularly popular for a short trip in urban areas where traffic congestion and pollution from vehicles’ emission is a concern. In Malaysia, bicycle sharing service is relatively new. The primary objective of the study is to investigate public perceptions of the use of bicycle sharing. Data were collected through interview and secondary sources. The findings indicate that there are barriers that hinder the willingness of Malaysians to use bicycle sharing. This study explores the practice of financial interdependence among Malay older people who live in the community in Malaysia. Eleven Malay older people participated in this qualitative study by an in-depth interview. The data was analyzed using six stages of the interpretative phenomenological analysis. Two main themes emerged from the interview transcripts are issues regarding living expenses and financial assistance. Financial interdependence is one of the most effective ways for the Malay older people in the community in Malaysia to adapt their retired status, to achieve maximum life satisfaction and productivity thereby improving their overall quality of life.Keywords: Financial interdependence, Older people, Quality of life, Interpretative phenomenological analysisISSN: 2398-4287© 2017. Tourism is a sector that always has a dynamic movement which will benefit the local community. Lumban Suhi-suhi is a tourist village famous for its ulos on Samosir Island that has become one of the tourist attraction. Due to the limitations of facilities arrangement make it becomes less of the attraction itself. Therefore, the environment-based mechanism becomes one of the concepts that will be applied to improve the tourist facilities in which could increase tourists in that area.
