In the industrial workplace, automation enhances productivity and quality while reducing errors and waste, boosting safety, and providing greater flexibility to the manufacturing process. Industrial automation, in the end, results in enhanced safety, dependability, and profitability. Increased productivity is achieved by automating the welding machine for conveyer rollers. Many departments are included in this project like design, fabrication, testing, etc. The movement of welding torch with respect to workpiece can be automated with the help of pneumatics along with use PLC control system. Accuracy is the key factor on which the rate of success of the project can be measured. Hence, tried to standardized the project as much as possible by using standard data and equipment. Automation systems are increasingly displacing humans in the workplace. One of the advantages is that the human workforce will have more time to focus on more innovative projects as a result of the transition. All the required parameters are to be considered while designing the machine components. According to design, fabrication is done with the guidance of experts from the company as well as project guide.

Control system is the key factor for performance of digital forming machine. To meet different needs, an open NC system structure is proposed based on PMAC. Selection of servo motor is analyzed, and hardware of control system is established. Software composed of multiple modules is developed with VC++, and also communication between PC and PMAC is realized. Furthermore, a method to optimize manufacturing process and interpolation path is presented according to characteristics of lost foam machining. Simulation and experiment are carried out, and the results confirm that the control system is excellent.

This paper introduces the hydraulic control system design for the change-wheel garage of Chongqing light rails through analysis of three-stage cylinder synchronization circuit for lifting bodies, and optimizing the design of the slewing mechanism with respect to the hydraulic servo control system of digital cylinder. The results improved the smoothness in the process of changing wheel lifting and the rotary accuracy of the rotary mechanism. Design on the PLC control system of the system is also included as part of this paper.

This article describes the design of an articulation robot arm with seven joints. The control core of the robot arm is the module-based system built using the Mitsubishi Q series programming logical controller (PLC). The robot arm contains seven AC servomotors, seven driver devices, a vision system and a PLC control system. The PLC-based controller programs the motion trajectory of the gripper to catch or hold the objects and finish the assigned tasks. Kinect system (Asus Xtion Pro-Live, or called RGB-D sensor) acts as the vision system to recognize shape and color of each object. During the experiments, we found that the robot arm recognizes the shape and color of each object, and catches each object moving to the assigned box with the same color.

This paper analyzes the control requirements of scutcher and introduces the control system scheme which is composed of programmable logic controller, touch panel and inverter. And it emphasizes the hardware constitution of S7-200 PLC control system, the pressure detection and display of cotton feeding pipeline, together with the principles of the beater speed test program and the control program of cotton feeding motor.The scutcher control system can feed cotton continuously and equably and ensure the pressure stability of the cotton feeding pipeline. In this way, it can adjust process conveniently, decrease fault rate and cut the design development cycle of new equipments to improve the control level of textile machinery.

This paper describes a method that reform the backward control system of annealing tin machine with the PLC control technology, and designs of hardware and software of the machine so that the machine have a good man-machine automatic control system. The paper focuses on the development of automatic program based on PLC, home return program, alarm program and protection program. The result shows that this control system is reliable, stable and high precision when it is used to the machine, and improving the competitiveness of the machine in the industry greatly.

In this paper, we design a typical automated packaging salt system, including multiple devices to stir, feed, packaging, weighing and other links. This requires the coordination of all sectors to achieve sequential switch, equipment failure alarming and maintenance. Therefore, salt packaging system adopts PLC control. According to different control objectives and requirements, we allocated the address reasonably; selected PLC and the modules. GX Developer software is used to programming and finally the control panel is designed. After commissioning and practical application, the effect is good, efficient, and precise.
