Safe academic services are the most important part of universities. The security of academic services is very important to maintain information optimally and safely. Along with the development of technology, academic information services are often misused by some irresponsible parties that can cause threats. To prevent these things from happening, it is necessary to know the extent of governance of higher education academic information system security by evaluating. So the research was conducted to determine the maturity of the security of Higher Education academic information service security by using the COBIT 5 framework in the DSS05 domain. The DSS05 domain in COBIT 5 is a good framework for use in implementing and evaluating the security of academic information services. Meanwhile, to determine the achievement of the evaluation of the security level of academic information systems, the Indonesian e-government ranking (PEGI) method is required. The combination of the COBIT 5 framework in the DSS05 domain using the PEGI method in academic information security service is able to provide a level of achievement in the form of Customer Value. The results of the COBIT 5 framework analysis of the DSS05 domain using the PEGI method get a score of 3.50 so that the quality of academic information service security evaluation achievement is at a very good level. At this level, universities are increasingly open to technological development. Higher education has applied the concept of quantification in every process, and has always been monitored and controlled for its performance in the security of academic information systems.

A secure academic information system is part of the college. The security of academic information systems is very important to maintain information optimally and safely. Along with the development of technology, academic information systems are often misused by some irresponsible parties that can cause threats. To prevent these things from happening, it is necessary to know the extent to which the security of the academic information system of universities is conducted by evaluating. So the research was conducted to determine the Maturity Level on the governance of the security of University Ahmad Dahlan academic information system by using the COBIT 5 framework on the DSS05 domain. The DSS05 domain on COBIT 5 is a good framework to be used in implementing and evaluating related to the security of academic information systems. Whereas to find out the achievement of evaluation of academic information system security level, CMMI method is needed. The combination of the COBIT 5 framework on the DSS05 domain using the CMMI method in academic information system security is able to provide a level of achievement in the form of a Maturity Level value. The results of the COBIT 5 framework analysis of the DSS05 domain use the CMMI method to get a Maturity level of 4,458 so that it determines the achievement of the evaluation of academic information systems at the tertiary level is Managed and Measurable. This level, universities are increasingly open to technological developments. Universities have applied the quantification concept in each process, and are always monitored and controlled for performance in the security of academic information systems.

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of academic information systems in improving the quality of higher education implementation in PGRI STKIP Bangkalan, and the extent to which the policies of implementing higher education before and after the use of information systems and how satisfaction is felt by students towards academic information systems at STKIP PGRI Bangkalan, named STKIP PGRI Bangkalan’s Siakad. The study was conducted by conducting a survey of users of the internet-based academic information system (Siakad STKIP PGRI Bangkalan), namely lecturers, students and employees with the method of observation and conducting in-depth interviews to obtain as much information as possible from all respondents/informants. The number of informants was 5 people consisting of the chairman of STKIP PGRI Bangkalan, Vice Chairman I, Head of BAAK and two students who had experience in their respective fields of work, knew deeply and had many roles in the process of using information systems.Based on the results of the study, it was shown that with the use of the information system/ STKIP PGRI Bangkalan’s Siakad which is one of the facilities for the smooth activities of the teaching and learning process, it proved to provide convenience, many benefits and benefits that greatly support the duties of serving lecturers, students and outsiders requiring. This is evidenced by the support of the support of lecturers and students, capacity, namely the ability of employees to process data and value, namely the benefits felt by lecturers, employees and students as well as outside parties in need.

<p><em>Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is a fundamental requirenment in Education. ICT plays an important role in improving the quality of higher education. In improving the quality of higher education, especially Hindus-based colleges, a management model of academic service management is needed in terms of policy makers, planners, organizers, implementers, and controlling the quality of academic services. The data was collected throughout observation, interviews, and document analysis. Particularly for data analysis, an interactive model was used including data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The results of this study indicated that the application of quality management of ICT-based academic services is highly effective in higher education because of policy documents and quality control instrumentation which resulted on an optimal and fast service processes, easy coordination and integration between many ICT-based academic service institutions, academic information system database (SIAKAD) and PDDIKTI, a qualified control institutions specifically in aspects of institutional structure, human resources, and quality instrumentation; and there is a commitment from all steakholder owners to implement a quality and ICT-based culture.</em><strong><em></em></strong></p>

This study aimed to formulate a quality model of e-management in higher education academic services. Through a qualitative approach, researchers conducted studies by means of spreading instruments. The qualitative results were deepened by conducting interviews with respondents at three universities, namely Pamulang University, Garut University, and Muhammadiyah Cirebon University. The research results obtained the following findings: 1) e-management planning has been going well; 2) support for the management system in the aspects of finance, access and network, as well as information documentation still needs to be improved; 3) the sustainability of e-management development has gone well when compared to handling non-conformities and corrective actions; 4) dimensions of internal audit, monitoring, assessment and evaluation analysis, as well as management reviews in the performance evaluation variable are carried out properly; and 5) the dimension of responsibility for the leadership variable still needs to be improved. The conclusion of this research was that planning arrangement is the dimension with the lowest respondent’s perception compared to the other two dimensions, namely the combination of plan and plan design. In the aspect of management system support, it is clear that funding, access and networks, as well as documentation of information are perceived to be insufficient.

Higher education institutions such as universities or institutes that create graduate students with high qualifications must be able to provide the best services to their stakeholders. One kind of higher education service is academic information system services. The service quality level of the academic information system in a university can be decided by measuring the level of users’ perception and the level of users’ expectations that can be fulfilled. As an organization that offers academic information system services, the university must be able to measure the level of academic information system services as an approach to ensure the quality of services. This study aims to determine the level of customer satisfaction index in terms of service of higher education academic information systems using the service quality method. The service quality method is used to identify academic information system services that are analyzed based on the service quality dimensions. The results show that the value of the customer satisfaction index is 77.37% which refers to the satisfied category.

Fulfillment of academic information to support a decision in a college is very necessary, especially to support an academic planning and evaluation in higher education. Often management asks the student academic bureau to find out the number of students based on their class, period, number of graduates, class schedules to student grades. This encourages the student academic bureau to create a desktop-based application that can be used to find out more quickly the needs requested by management. By using the extreme programming (XP) model, it can accommodate the academic information needs of student affairs in universities in the form of a recap of academic data that can be presented in real time and quickly for the upper level management.

This research is a continuation of previous research, which is a development of academic information systems for higher education with database reporting of EPSBED to DIKTI. Researchers will continue to develop the design using use case diagrams and rich picture diagrams. The design is useful to help the team of developers in building the application especially in coding process. The method used is studying the results of previous research then developing the design of use case diagrams and finally making the rich picture diagrams. The results of this research is a process design of a university in use case diagrams and rich picture diagrams. This research found that an academic information systems can be designed with use case diagrams and rich picture diagrams to facilitate coding process. This design is expected to be developed into a ready-use application that can be utilized in universities.
