The article provides information about the tests of circle cross-section reinforced concrete beams made of high-strength steel-fiberconcrete on combined torsion and bending. Given information contains the main results: a diagram of the cracks with an indication of their opening width, the values of support reactions at the moment of cracking and at the moment before destruction. It was found that as the load is applied in beams made of high-strength steel-reinforced concrete, in the case of several cracks at the firststage, there is one crack increases. The beams are modeled in the design complex and given description of the main design parameters. The results of the calculation are presented and a comparative analysis of the results obtained with the experiments results. It is noted that the adopted models in the computational complexes require the development of subroutines and refinement

This paper predicts the shear strength of high-strength steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) beams without stirrups based on existing experimental test results from 5 previous studies. A suitable model was developed by performing linear regression analysis on the database. The adequacy of the model was examined from statistical point of view.

Many researchers have performed experimental and theoretical studies on the shear behavior of steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) beams with conventional reinforcement; few studies involve the shear behavior of SFRC beams with high-strength reinforcement. In this paper, the shear test of eleven beams with high-strength reinforcement was carried out, including eight SFRC beams and three reinforced concrete (RC) beams. The load-deflection curve, concrete strain, stirrup strain, diagonal crack width, failure mode and shear bearing capacity of the beams were investigated. The test results show that steel fiber increases the stiffness, ultimate load and failure deformation of the beams, but the increase effect of steel fiber decreases with the increase of stirrup ratio. After the diagonal crack appears, steel fiber reduces the concrete strains of the diagonal section, stirrup strains and diagonal crack width. In addition, steel fiber reduces crack height and increases crack number. Finally, the experimental values of the shear capacities were compared with the values calculated by CECS38:2004 and ACI544.4R, and the equation of shear capacity in CECS38:2004 was modified to effectively predict the shear capacities of SFRC beams with high-strength reinforcement.

High-strength cementitious materials such as high-performance concrete are extensively used for retrofit of reinforced concrete (RC) structures. The effectiveness of these materials is increased when mixed with steel fibers. A commonly used technique for strengthening and repair of RC beams consists of applying high-performance fiber-reinforced concrete jackets around the beam perimeter. This paper investigates the jacketing method for repairing severely damaged RC beams. Four 2 m (6 ft 63/4 in.) long rectangular RC beams, 200 × 300 mm (8 ×12 in.) were initially cast and loaded until failure based on three-point bending tests. The four beams were then repaired by thickening the sides of the damaged RC beams using a commercially available high-strength shrinkage grout with and without steel fibers. Strain and deformation were recorded in the damaged and repaired beams to compare structural performance. It is shown that the flexural strength of the repaired beams is increased and the crack pattern under loading is improved, proving that the proposed repair method can restore the resistance capacity of RC beams despite the degree of damage. A method for repair is proposed and an analytical investigation is also performed to understand the structural behavior of the repaired beams based on different thickening configurations.
