Today two main innovative determinants influence Chinas position in the race to global leadership in artificial intelligence. The aim of the research was to assess Chinese innovative potential according to two criteria: artificial intelligence talents and hardware base. The analysis has provided a conclusive answer to the question about the prospects of China to achieve the position of a scientific and technological superpower. The presented data shows that global competition in artificial intelligence has toughened and there is a certain lag in the competence of Chinese talents and in the development of breakthrough microelectronic technologies. However, the dynamics of the Chinese artificial intelligence sector growth and the Big Government legal actions indicate that the changes may come very soon. Due to the growing uncertainty and technological confrontation between main innovative and technology competitors, the victory in the global race for China's artificial intelligence sector may not take place.

In modern conditions of global competition and the rapid development of digital technologies, there is a need for new tools for assessing the solvency of bank customers and reducing credit risks, reducing costs and increasing the profitability of the bank. The features and prospects of using big data and predictive analytics are analyzed, theoretical aspects of using Artificial intelligence (AI) technologies are considered and their advantages for banks are analyzed. The goal is to reduce the share of problem loans and quickly determine the solvency of clients.

Significance Its guidance will probably be at odds with the approach adopted by the United States. Impacts European AI firms will criticise a tougher regulatory strategy, fearing restrictions on their innovative potential, as well as from abroad. Larger tech companies will be better able to adapt to AI regulations than their smaller competitors. Public authorities, and law enforcement especially, will push back against facial recognition bans.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) receives prominent attention within the innovation context. It is the most promising technological invention in information technology. Nevertheless, Innovation and Technology Management (ITM) so far could not structure the AI field, which offers a disruptive innovative potential. Thus, this paper reviews and analyzes the ITM literature and explains the underlying structure of AI. The findings present two main streams of AI literature and, furthermore, explain how to categorize AI use cases. With our results, we assist ITM in explaining and adopting AI to business, which is a huge challenge for companies.
