Minimum water discharge and seasonal flow calculations of Veliki Rzav at Arilje have been conducted for the purposes of regional water supply system "Rzav". For the first time for this hydrological station minimum water discharges have been calculated by frequency curves, parameters of which have been determined by method of moments. Also for the first time in Serbia seasonal flow was calculated using "composing method". Analysis presented in this paper can be used for exploitation and planning of upcoming water management activities in the regional water supply system "Rzav.

The pumps are mechanical structures indispensable in numerous socio-economic areas like: villages water supply, irrigations, oil industry, sewage movement, chemical movement, flood control and for the production of various goods. Pumps must supply the energy necessary to lift liquids from a lower elevation to a greater one. Pumps operation and maintenance generates significant costs. One of the most efficient methods to reduce the pump operating costs is by scheduling the pump operations. This can impose pumps to operate during periods in which the electrical tariff is cheaper and combining the operations of several pumps in an efficient way. This paper aims to analyze the possibilities and the limits of using SPEA2 multi-objective optimization algorithm implemented in Matlab in order to schedule the pumps. SPEA2 was used for the first time to schedule the pumps from a water supply system by [. In that paper the algorithm was applied in Linux. This paper presents the results obtained by SPEA2 implemented in a very used programming language, Matlab. The algorithm was improved in order to obtain better solutions. In this paper we applied the optimization methods of the pump schedule to a water supply system, but these methods can be used to minimize the operational costs of any system that incorporates pumps.

The eco-friendly drinking water supply system (Green WSS) is an important issue in Indonesia’s development related to the low implementation of Green WSS in existing water supply building. While the current water supply system development criteria should have more efficient and eco-friendly infrastructure. This study aims to assess the implementation of Green WSS on Bregas Regional Water Supply System. Regional Water Supply System service areas of Bregas include Brebes Regency, Tegal City, and Tegal Regency with total discharge of 650 L/sec will be able to serve 52.000 connection house or some 260.000 people. Analysis method that used in this research is scoring analysis of Green WSS indicator and SWOT analysis, data collection obtained by interview, observation, and document study related to planning phase, construction phase, and operational and maintenance phase. According to the results of scoring analysis Green WSS indicator, Bregas Regional Water Supply System has a score of 264 out of 285 (green category) and based on SWOT analysis, it is in quadrant II, meaning the implementation of Green WSS shows the average condition. From those condition have been formulated 13 management strategies of Bregas Regional Water Supply System.

To achieve the target of 100% drinking water service, Central Java Provincial Government holds regional water supply system (SPAM) programmes in Central Java, one of which is Keburejo regional water supply system (Kebumen and Purworejo). During the development phase, it was delayed due to project cost overrun, which later promotes an option for Public-Private Partnership (PPP). Consequently, this option may increase the project risks. This study aims to identify and analyze the risks of Keburejo regional water supply system project when the PPP option is chosen. This research adopted a mixed research method of qualitative and quantitative approach. Respondents in this study were 22 respondents from PDAB Tirta Utama, Dinas Bina Marga and Cipta Karya (BMCK) Central Java, Satker PSPAM Central Java, BBWS Serayu Opak, Pemkab (PDAM, Bappeda and DPU) Kebumen and Purworejo, as well as Business Entity (PT. TGM). The results found 24 risk factors, classified into pre-construction (10), construction (4), and Operational and Maintenance (10). The majority of these risks are considered ‘High’ (83.33%), with the highest risks in the pre-construction (37,5%), and the majority is under the Government responsibility (66.67%). These results are useful for Government as a reference in managing the risks of PPP SPAM Regional Keburejo and other regional SPAM projects in Indonesia.
