The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the mechanisms of corporate governance, leverage and the free cash flow against the accrual earning  management on LQ45 and JII Indexes during the 2010-2015 period. The number of samples in the study is 144 companies in JII index and 121 companies  in JII indexs. Sampling techniques using purposive sampling method. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression to test and prove the hypothesis of the study. Research results showed the proxy of corporate governance mechanism with institutional ownership, managerial ownership, the proportion of Board of Commissioners and the audit committee no effect  to accrual earnings management.(prob value >0.05). The free cash flow and leverage have an effect significantly to accrual earning management (prob value <0.05). Meanwhile in JII index, they have the same results. Corporate governance also no effect to accrual earning  management, but the free cash flow and leverage have an effect significantly to accrual earning management. Keywords: corporate governance, leverage, free cash flow, accrual earnings management

The aim of this research is to provide empirical evidence on the impact of good corporate governance, free cash flow, and leverage ratio on earnings management. Good corporate governance is measured by audit committee’s size, the proportion of independent commissioners, institutional ownership, and managerial ownership. Discretionary accrual is the proxy of earning management. This research used 28 consumer goods companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016 to 2018. Data were analyzed using panel data with random effect model. Based on the result of analysis concluded that all components of good corporate governance (audit committee’s size, the proportion of independent commissioners, institutional ownership, and managerial ownership), have no significant effect on earnings management, on other hand leverage ratio has a negative effect and no significant on earning management, and free cash flow has a positve and no significant effect on earnings management

This study aims to examine the effect of corporate governance mechanism on the timeliness of financial reporting. The sample of this study are four central banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) selected based on purposive sampling method. The method of data analysis used in this study is multiple regression models. Based on the hypotheses testing result, that the managerial ownership and audit committee have a positive and significant effect on the timeliness of financial reporting, while independent commissioner has no effect on the timeliness of financial reporting

The objective (s) of this research was verifying whether good corporate governance (size of audit committee, proportion of independent commissioner, institutional, managerial ownership, size of commissioner) leverage, free cash flow, profitability, losses, audit quality and market to book on earnings management and company’s size as control variable. Data analyze used in this research is secondary data and using purposive sampling where total sample are 69 listed companies on manufacture sector for period 2012-2013. This study provides view of free cash flow and corporate governance (CG) by addressing the relationship between audit committee characteristics with free cash flow. Specifically, this study explores whether audit committee characteristics are substitutes to control agency problem regarding to free cash flow within Malaysian firms. The data set comprise of 200 firm observations Malaysian companies for four consecutive years, which comprise of 2005 to 2008. The results show that size of audit committee, frequency of audit committee meeting, proportion of audit committee independence is positively associated with level of free cash flow (FCF). The results of study highlight the importance of corporate governance mechanism, in the form of audit committee characteristics, in the management of cash flow.

This study aimed to determine the effect of Good Corporate Governance mechanism towardearnings management that is proxied with discretionary accruals (DTA). The GCG mechanismis proxied with managerial ownership (KM), institutional leadership (KI), independent board ofcommissioner (DKI) and independent audit committee (KAI). The sample used in this studywere 11 companies registered in CGPI for three years starting from 2013 to 2015.To knowwhether the above GCG variables have an effect on earnings management, multiple linearregression test using SPSS 2.1 program. The test results show that only managerial ownershipvariables has significantly influence to earnings management. While other variables such asinstitutional ownership (KI), independent board of commissioner (DKI), and independent auditcommittee (KAI) have no significant effect to earnings management.Keyword: Good Corporate Governance, managerial ownership, institusional leadership, independent board of commisioner, independent audit committee, earning management.

The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of the corporate governance mechanism and firm size concerning to the earnings management. Corporate governance mechanism in this study include managerial ownership, independent commissioner and audit committee. The samples of this research are 7 real estate companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2009-2013. This study using a purposive sampling method to determining the number of samples used. The method of analysis on this research is using multiple linear regression analysis. The result of the study shows that managerial ownership, independent commissioner, auditcommittee and firm size are not influence to earnings management. Managerial ownership has no influence to earnings management due to low managerial ownership owned by the samplecompany, while the independent commissioner has no influence because the placement of theindependent commissioner only act to fulfill the formal provisions. Audit committee has noinfluence to earnings management because the member size of audit committee still relativelystandard with the Capital Market Supervisory Agency regulation and firm size has no influenceto earnings management because earnings management’s action not influenced by the firm size.

Objective – The purpose of this research is to empirically examine how company characteristics, corporate governance and audit quality affect earnings management. Methodology/Technique – The population used for this research is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange between 2013 and 2015. The sampling method used in this research is purposive sampling. 64 companies are examined, with 192 items of data being obtained. Findings – This research also uses statistical testing through a multiple regression. The results show that return on assets, financial leverage, free cash flow, and sales growth all have an influence on earnings management. Meanwhile, other variables such as managerial ownership, institutional ownership, board size, the presence of an audit committee, firm size, and audit quality have no significant effect on earnings management. Novelty – In this research, company characteristics are proxied with the return on assets, financial leverage, firm size, free cash flow, and sales growth, while corporate governance is proxied with managerial ownership, institutional ownership, board size, and the presence of an audit committee. <em>The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of corporate governance mechanism, namely institutional ownership, managerial ownership,size of commissioner, presence of independent of commissioner, and size of audit committee, also firms size and leverage on earnings management. This research also examines the influence of earnings management on financial performance. The samples of 31 companies listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX), for a period of three years from 2007-2009 was selected. Data were analyzed by using multiple regression and simple regression. The results of this research showed that institutional ownership and leverage have a significant impact on earnings management. Managerial ownership, size of commissioner, presence of independent of commissioner, size of audit committee, also firms size have no significant relationships with earnings management. Next, earnings management has a significant impact on financial performance.</em>

Objective - The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of motivational bonus, leverage, firm size, corporate governance (audit committee's size, the proportion of independent commissioners, institutional ownership, managerial ownership) and free cash flow on earnings management. Methodology/Technique - Earnings management is analyzed in this research using the modified Jones model. The population for the research consists of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) between 2013-2015. The final sample includes 60 manufacturing companies. Findings - The result of this study indicate that motivational bonus, leverage, firm size and free cash flow have an influence on earnings management practices. Motivational bonuses and free cash flow as opportunistic behavior also influence earnings management. In addition, leverage and firm size as external monitoring mechanism influence earnings management practices while audit committee size, the proportion of independent commissioners, institutional ownership and managerial ownership as corporate governance practices in companies has no significant effect on earnings management practices. Hence, it is concluded that corporate governance has no effect on earnings management practices in Indonesia. This study is aimed to examine the effect of corporate governance mechanisms, such as, independent board of. commissioner composition, board of commisioner size, audit committee, institutional ownership, and managerial ownership toward profit management. This research used 5 of food company and Baverages that was listed in Indonesia stock Exchange since 2014-2018. The sample of this research are selected by purposive sampling method. Analysis method of this research used multiple regression. Earnings management measured by using discretionary accrual. The result of this study showed that the result of regression as follow: = 7,365 + 0,631 XI + 0,553 X2 + 0,583 X3 + 0,674 X4 + 0,768 X5 + e. However the result of variable: (1) Composition of independent commissioner council has the effect of significant at profit management. It was proved by t value is higher than t table that was 4,291 > 2,085. (2) Standard of commissioner council has the effect of significant at profit management, it was proved by the result of t value is higher than t table that was 3,148 > 2,085. (3) the committee of audit has the effect of significant at profit management. It was proved by t value is higher than t value 3,569 > 2.085. (4) The ownership of constitutional has the effect of significant at profit management. It was proved by t value is higher than t table that was 4,422 > 2,085. (5) The ownership of managerial at profit management. It was proved by t value is higher than t table 5,618 > 2,085. (6) Composition of independent commissioner council, standard of commissioner council, the committee of audit, the ownership of constitutional, the ownership of managerial have the effect of significant at profit management. The result of calculation showed that f value that is 22,861, while f table 2,74 (22,861 > 2,74). It means that f value is higher than f table. The result of calculation of Composition of independent commissioner council, standard of commissioner council, the committee of audit, the ownership of constitutional, and the ownership of managerial showed that the value coofesien was 0,730 (73%) and the balance 0,270 (27%) it is described by other variable was not include in this research.
