Research on application of the design an Arduino Uno-based automatic transformer wire winding machine has been carried out. The research aim was to make an automatic winding machine using wire coils that can be adjusted for rotation speed and high accuracy of the number of turns. In testing system, the enamel wire was wrapped around with a different number of turns, that is 200;400;600;800;1000 turns. The calibration method in this study was carried out manually, that is recounting the turns on the koker that had been wrapped using an automatic winding machine. The speed of the winding machine is calibrated using a tachometer. The results of the calculation of the average rolling accuracy of 99,73%.

High precision position control is essential in the process of parts manufacturing and assembling, where eddy current displacement sensors (ECDSs) are widely used owing to the advantages of non-contact sensing, compact volume, and resistance to harsh conditions. To solve the nonlinear characteristics of the sensors, a high-accuracy calibration method based on linearity adjustment is proposed for ECDSs in this paper, which markedly improves the calibration accuracy and then the measurement accuracy. After matching the displacement value and the output voltage of the sensors, firstly, the sensitivity is adjusted according to the specified output range. Then, the weighted support vector adjustment models with the optimal weight of the zero-scale, mid-scale and full-scale are established respectively to cyclically adjust the linearity of the output characteristic curve. Finally, the final linearity adjustment model is obtained, and both the calibration accuracy and precision are verified by the established calibration system. Experimental results show that the linearity of the output characteristic curve of ECDS adjusted by the calibration method reaches over 99.9%, increasing by 1.9–5.0% more than the one of the original. In addition, the measurement accuracy improves from 11–25 μ m to 1–10 μ m in the range of 6mm, which provides a reliable guarantee for high accuracy displacement measurement.

Technological developments have left people tend to get used to working with the aid of automatic devices. The research that led to the automation has also been developed such as the detection of acid-base degree. The detector uses an Arduino Uno microcontroller components as the brains to run the program, and the pH sensor (Power of Hydrogen) as input that detect the state of a solution. In this solution and research tool used can be planned a new system. The system uses a microcontroller as a liaison between chemistry with the world of electrical technology. Produce percentage is almost close to perfect, as evidenced by the accuracy of the output of which is detected by a detector. In this study, the authors designed a detector-based acid-base arduino uno. The aim is to produce an acid-base detector with high accuracy than litmus paper sold in the market. With the alkaline acid detection devices are expected to ease the food industry, restaurants, and households in the detection of acid-base automatically. With an accuracy of ± 0.5 pH (25˚C).

On account of the end splitting and dropping thread problem for domestic winding machine during tassel thread production process at present, an intelligent system with subdivision driving module TB6560AHQ and SANYO stepping motor was designed, which adopted the ATMEL89S52 MCU as the core controller. The system achieved precise control of some parameters during the course of tassel thread winding such as torque, direction of rotation, speed, cycle laps, twist, etc. It also reduced the worker’s labour intensity and improved the production quality and efficiency of the tassel manufacturing, moreover, this winding machine has the advantages of simple structure, high torque, high reliability and low cost. It can meet the various control requirements for different tassel thread winding and have a considerable market prospect.

Most of the existing calibration methods for binocular stereo vision sensor (BSVS) depend on high-accuracy target with feature points that are difficult to manufacture and costly. In complex light conditions, optical filters are used for BSVS, but they affect imaging quality. Hence, the use of a high-accuracy target with certain-sized feature points for calibration is not feasible under such complex conditions. To solve these problems, a calibration method based on unknown-sized elliptical stripe images is proposed. With known intrinsic parameters, the proposed method adopts the elliptical stripes located on the parallel planes as a medium to calibrate BSVS online. In comparison with the common calibration methods, the proposed method avoids utilizing high-accuracy target with certain-sized feature points. Therefore, the proposed method is not only easy to implement but is a realistic method for the calibration of BSVS with optical filter. Changing the size of elliptical curves projected on the target solves the difficulty of applying the proposed method in different fields of view and distances. Simulative and physical experiments are conducted to validate the efficiency of the proposed method. When the field of view is approximately 400 mm × 300 mm, the proposed method can reach a calibration accuracy of 0.03 mm, which is comparable with that of Zhang’s method.
