<p>This study aims to improve the skills of writing news on the student of Language and Literature Education Indonesia  using strategy cooperatif type group investigation.This type of research is classroom action research with qualitative descriptive method. This research model refers to a model Kemmis and Mc Taggart. Subjects were students of Indonesian education enrolled in the academic year 2017/2018. Data collected by the test and non-test techniques. The instrument used, namely in the form of news writing test, interview and observation sheet. The results showed that an increase in news writing skills using strategy cooperatif type group investigation.This is evidenced from the average value of students in each cycle. The average value of 62.12 students in prasiklus then increased in the first cycle to 66.24 and the second cycle the average value of students increased to 87.00.</p><p> </p><p> </p>

The purpose of this study was to describe students' understanding of vocabulary in completing essay writing tests in class XI Sirajul Falah Bogor. In the 2019/2020 academic year. Respondents in this study were students at a vocational school in Bogor. The research method used a qualitative descriptive method, the population in this study were students of class XI Sirajul Falah Middle School in Bogor, equipped with 336 students. The sampling technique in this study used probability sampling techniques. The subjects selected in this study were 22 subjects who were taken randomly in class XI Sirajul Falah. The data aids used were written tests in the form of essays, interviews and questionnaires. To measure the results of students' writing skills using essay writing tests given to students, there are 3 choices of topics written in descriptive essays and choosing one of the topics. The data were obtained through a test of vocational students' essay writing skills. The aspects that assess the assessment written by students are consistency (1). Content Accuracy with Title, (2) Vocabulary Mastery, (3) Sentence Mastery, (4) Unity, and (5) Spelling Usage and Writing. From the results of data analysis, of the 22 respondents whose lowest score was 24 or 3.11%, only 1 student and the highest score was 44 or 5.71% as many as 2 students and the number of students or at most was 4.93%, for 6 students who achieved 38. Thus it can be denied that the students were able to do the vocabulary test quite well, because most of them achieved scores above the average and none of the students scored below the average.

Second, it describes the writing skills text beritasiswa class VIII MTS. n. 2 SelatanKetiga Coast, describing the correlation field environmental vocabulary mastery with the text of the news writing skills of students of class VIII MTS. n. 2 southern coast. This research type is quantitative descriptive method. The design used is a korelasional design. Population research is grade VIII MTS. n. 2 southern coast that are listed in the 2018/2019, i.e., 223 students. The research sample is determined by proportional random sampling of 20% of the population, namely 45 pupils. The results of the research there are three. First, mastery of the vocabulary of the field of the environment students of class VIII MTS. n. 2 located on the southern coast of qualifications either (B) with an average value of 78.81. Secondly, the text of the news writing skills of students of class VIII MTS. n. 2 located on the southern coast of qualifications either (B) with an average of 79.54. Third, there is a correlation of mastery of the vocabulary of the field of the environment with the text of the news writing skills of students of class VIII MTS. n. 2 southern coast on a 95% confidence level with n-1 degrees of freedom. the value of thitung > ttabel (5.01 > 1.62). Kata Kunci: Korelasi, Kosakata Bidang Lingkungan Hidup, Menulis Teks Berita

USE OF HAND WRITING ANIMATION MEDIA TO IMPROVE WRITING SKILLS DESCRIPTION OF DESCRIPTION IN STUDENTSOne of the functions of the Indonesian Language and Literature Learning course in general is as a means of increasing knowledge and skills in Indonesian language to gain and develop science, technology, and art. This research was conducted on November 20, 2019 in Class 5D PGSD FKIP UNPAK with a total of 26 people consisting of 3 men and 23 women, Odd Academic Year 2019-2020. The results of research that researchers do are processed using descriptive statistics. Based on research conducted on the assessment of descriptive essays using Handwriting Animation media, the recapitulation results are obtained as follows: For the content or ideas expressed, obtained a score of 77 with very good criteria. Content organizations score 78 with Very Good criteria. Grammar scores 78 with Very Good criteria. Style: choice of structure and vocabulary scored 76 with Very Good criteria. Results of recapitulation Assessment of the use of animated media Handwriting on the making of descriptive essays for indicators of the suitability of the material 100% of students are in conformity so that the criteria are Very Good ,. The duration of making animation 100% in accordance with the time that has been set is a maximum of 30 minutes so the criteria are Very Good. The beauty of the appearance in Handwritten animation that has been made is only 75% with the criteria Very Good. Posts that are made get 100% accordingly so that the criteria are very good..

The purpose of this study was to investigate the difficulties of students in speaking English. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive method in this study. The subjects of this study were eighth-grade students A and D SMPIT At-Taqwa 2018/2019 academic year consisting of 40 students and English teachers. Data collections of this study were observation, student questionnaires, and student and teacher interviews. The results of this study indicate that 25% of students have difficulty speaking English. The efforts made by students and teachers to overcome difficulties in speaking English such as: taking English tutoring, listening English songs, practicing reading, writing and speaking at home and school. They also communicate through social media with foreign citizens, joining English Camp, watching western movies or change film subtitles with English. Then the solution given by the teacher is an additional lesson hour to support students who felt difficult in speaking English.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is three. First, describing the reading skills of anecdotal text students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang. Secondly, it describes the writing skills of anecdotal text students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang. Third, describing the contribution of reading skills of anecdotal text to the writing skills of anecdotal text students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang. This type of research is quantitative by a descriptive method. The design used in this study is design contributions. The population of this study is the XI MA Negeri 3 class students enrolled in the 2018/2019 school year, with 250 students. The samples in this study were determined by simple random sampling 25% of the population, which is 61 students. This research Data in the form of scores of test skills reads the understanding of anecdotal text and scores test results of anecdotal text. The Data is obtained through two types of tests i.e. objective tests to measure the reading skills of anecdotal text and test performance to measure anecdotal text writing skills. The results of this study were three. First, the reading skills of understanding anecdotal text students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang are in good qualification (B) with an average value of 85.09. Secondly, the writing skills of anecdote-class students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang are on a good qualifying (BS) with an average of 86.13. Thirdly, there is a contribution of the reading skills of anecdotal text to the writing skills of anecdotal text students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang amounted to 17.56%. Kata Kunci:Kontribusi, Keterampilan, Membaca Pemahaman, Menulis, Teks Anekdot

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is three. First, describe the reading skills of the text apresitif fable grade VII SMP Negeri 30 Padang. Second, describing the writing skills of text fable grade VII students SMP Negeri 30 Padang. Thirdly, describing the contribution of fable text apreciprocative reading skills to text writing skills Fable class VII SMP Negeri 30 Padang.  This type of research is quantitative by a descriptive method. The design used in this study is design contributions. The population of this study is class VII junior high School 30 Padang registered in the school year 2018/2019, which is as many as 254 students. The samples in this study were determined by proportional random sampling of 20% of the population, which is 56 students. This research Data is in the form of scores of test skills read Fable text appreciative and score test results of text writing fable. The results of this study were three. First, the skill of reading a text apresiative fable grade VII students SMP Negeri 30 Padang is in good qualification (B) with an average value of 74.19. Secondly, the writing skills of text fable grade VII students SMP Negeri 30 Padang are in good qualification (B) with an average of 76.64. Thirdly, there is a contribution of reading skills fable text appreciative to the writing skills of text fable grade VII students SMP Negeri 30 Padang amounted to 51.4%. Kata Kunci: Kontribusi, Keterampilan Membaca Apresiatif, Keterampilan Menulis Teks Fabel

The ability of students in writing is still low, especially in writing anecdotal texts, so we need a learning innovation that can improve students' abilities through the use of show not tell techniques. This study aims to improve students 'anecdotal text writing skills by applying the Show not tell technique, as well as describing the improvement in students' anecdotal text writing skills by applying the show not tell technique. The population in this study were all grade X students of SMA Negeri 1 Ciasem. The research method used was a pre-experimental design with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data collection techniques used in this study were writing tests. The data form of this research is in the form of an assessment of learning outcomes that illustrate the skills of students in writing anecdotal texts. Data analysis of test results is done by collecting data writing anecdotal texts, correcting, determining values ​​and processing values. The results showed a significant increase in anecdotal text writing test scores with pretest and posttest. Overall pretest results of students obtained an average value of 59.09 while the overall posttest results of students scored with an average of 78.27. Thus it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of writing anecdotal texts by using show not tell technique increases.   Keywords: Writing, Anecdotal Text, Show Not Tell Technique

This research aimed to find out the effectiveness of Teaching Indonesian-English Combined Task to improve students’ skills in writing English sentences. It was undertaken in PDF Ulya As’adiyah Putri Sengkang in Academic Year 2016/2017. It applied pre-experimental method. Writing test was employed as the instrument of the research. The population of this research was 16 students. The technique of data collection involved giving pre-test to know the writing skills gained previously of the students and post-test after giving the treatment to know how the skills of the students in writing English sentences by using Indonesian-English combined task. The result of the calculation of the students’ score indicated that the mean score of the students’ pre-test was (55.25) which was classified as fair classification and the mean score of the students’ post-test was (73,93) as good classification. The value of paired sample test for post-test was greater than the t-table (10,239>2.131). In short, teaching Indonesian-English combined task is effective to improve students’ skills in writing English sentences.

The purpose of this study to determine the relationship of mathematical resilience to students problem solving abilities. This research was conducted in MTs Negeri Kota Cimahi class VIII-I even semester in academic year 2017-2018. The method used is qualitative descriptive method. Population taken is all students of class VIII MTs Negeri Kota Cimahi. Sampling using purposive sampling technique, which is a determination and sampling technique determined by the researchers with certain considerations. The sample consists of 34 students. Circle material used in research. Research instrument as many as 5 items about problem solving and resilience statement scale as many as 40 statement. The conclusion gained is that there are difficulties experienced by students in solving problem solving problem and there is correlation between mathematical resiliency to student problem solving ability equal to 0,649.
