Capital markets are places that combine those who lack funds with those who excess funds or called investors. Investors can invest in LQ45 indexed companies that have high market capitalization and liquidity. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of inflation, profitability and firm size on stock returns. The study population was all LQ45 indexed companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2015 to 2017. The samples were determined by purposive sampling technique. The sample criteria are listed in the LQ45 index from 2015 to 2017 so that there are 34 samples obtained with 102 observations. The analysis technique is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that inflation has a negative effect on stock returns, profitability and the size of the company has no effect on the return of LQ45 index companies. This study aims to investigate the influence of fundamental factors on stock returns on the companies listed in the LQ’45 index in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research uses explanatory research design. The population consists of 45 companies listed in the LQ'45 index. The purposive sampling technique is used and collected a total of 23 companies as the sample. The number of samples was 23 companies because these companies consistently formed the LQ'45 index for the 2014-2018 periods. Those companies are fulfilling the criteria which are continually included in the LQ’45 index throughout the analysis period. Thus, the data panels used in this study were as much as 115 observations. Fundamental factors proxies by TATO, MBV, CR, DER, NPM, and EPS. The multiple linear regression analysis is used and the results showed that TATO has a significant positive effect on stock returns, MBV has a significant negative effect on stock returns, while CR, DER, NPM, and EPS have no significant effects on the stock return of LQ’45 index-listed companies.

ABSTRACTThis study aims to examine the effect of current ratio and return on assets on stock returns. The dependent variable used in this study is stock returns as measured by average stock returns. While the independent variables are current ratio and return on assets. The population in this study was the food and beverage sub-sector company on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2012-2016. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling. The analysis technique used in this study was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that the current ratio have a negative effect on the company's stock return. While, return on assets have a positive effect on the company's stock return. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh current ratio dan return on assets terhadap return saham. Variabel dependen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah return saham yang diukur dengan return saham rata-rata. Sedangkan variabel independen adalah current ratio dan return on assets. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan Sub Sektor Makanan dan Minuman di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2012 – 2016. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa current ratio berpengaruh negatif terhadap return saham perusahaan. Sementara return on asset berpengaruh positif terhadap return saham perusahaan.

Tax aggressiveness is the act of manipulating profits carried out through tax planning that can be both legal and illegal. Based on the agency theory, the different interests of agents and principals may become a source of conflict. The aim of this study is to determine and obtain empirical evidence on the effect of executive characteristics, profitability, leverage, capital intensity, and company size on tax aggressiveness. This research was conducted on manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2018, because the Indonesian economy has started to recover since 2016 and continued until 2018, so it will have an impact on tax revenues. The sample was selected using purposive sampling technique and obtained 70 manufacturing companies. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that executive characteristics, profitability, and company size had a positive effect. While leverage and capital intensity had negative effect on tax aggressiveness. This study aims to examine the effect of Firm Size and Leverage on Bond Ratings in banking subsector companies in the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2018. The sample in this study was obtained using purposive sampling method which is included in the non-probability sampling technique. The sample in this study consisted of banking subsector companies listed on the IDX in 2018 and rated by PT PEFINDO with a total of 22 banking companies. The method used in this research is descriptive with quantitative and associative approaches. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with an R Square value of 0.030 which can be interpreted as the effect of firm size and leverage on a bond rating of 3% and the remaining 97% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. F Test results show a value of Fcount 0.295 <3.49 Ftable which means there is no effect on firm size and leverage on the bond rating. From the test results partially firm size variables have a positive effect and leverage has a negative effect on the bond rating.

Banking plays an important role in influencing economic activity. Banking is required to gain profit so as to compete in order to maintain its survival. The profit is used to pay for all types of operational costs. This research was conducted in Banking Companies Listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange Period Year 2014 - 2016. The number of samples is 20 banks, with the method of purposive sampling technique. Data collection is done by observation or observation. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the result of research, it is known that non performing loan has negative effect on return on asset, loan to deposit ratio has positive effect on return on asset, and capital adequacy ratio has negative effect on return on asset. Signal theory emphasizes that company information can be responded differently by investors. One method used to analyze company value is using the Price to Book Value (PBV) approach. This study aims to analyze the effect of liquidity, dividend policy, profitability, and firm size on firm value. This research was conducted on companies listed in the LQ 45 index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2016. The number of samples taken as many as 10 companies used the nonprobability sampling method with a purposive sampling technique, so that the number of samples during the 4 years of observation became 40 companies. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that liquidity and profitability have a positive effect on firm value, while dividend policy and company size have no effect on firm value. Income smoothing is basically a management strategy to reduce fluctuating income levels. This study aims to determine the effect of company size, leverage and profitability on income smoothing in companies listed on the LQ45 Index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2019 period. It was carried out on companies listed on the LQ45 Index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2019. Sampling was conducted by utilizing purposive sampling and obtained 11 companies, from which 33 data were collected. The analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis. Results showed that company size, leverage and profitability simultaneously can affect income smoothing of a company. Company size and profitability partially have a positive effect on income smoothing, while leverage has a negative effect on income smoothing.

This study aims to test whether liquidity and company size have an influence on stock returns in manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub-sector in 2017-2019. The total population of this study was 26 companies with a total sample of 11 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with a study period of three years so that the research sample was 33 data. The data used is secondary data from various reliable sources. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method. The independent variables include liquidity and company size, while the dependent variable is stock returns. Collecting data in this study using secondary data with documentation methods. The method of analysis of this research is using multiple linear regression analysis and t test. Based on the t test shows that (1) liquidity has a significant effect on stock returns (2) company size has an influence on stock returns.The company’s ability to pay debts on time will make the stock returns be returned appropriately. Mean while, company size has a positive and insignificant effect on stock returns.

The aim of this reseach is to analyze the effect of liquidity, leverage, and company size on bond rating which rated by PT. Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia (PEFINDO). The samples were processed by selecting the population with specific criteria (purposive sampling technique), 55 samples obtained from financial statement of financial companies (financing subsector) in www.idx.co.id for the 2014-2018 periods. The quntitative associative method with multiple linear regression analysis as a data analysis technique. The results of this research indicate that both liquidity and leverage have significant negative effect on bond rating partially.Company size has no significant effect on bond rating partially
