This study aims at offering and empirically testing a model explaining relationships between corporate social responsibility (CSR), customer’s satisfaction, brand image, brand equity, and brand preference. Data was collected using questionnaire. As many as 100 datasets were analysed using structural equation modelling (SEM) to test the hypotheses. This study indicates that CSR, customer’s satisfaction, brand image, and brand equity could explain 83,5% of the variation of brand preference. The model of this study has met all criteria of goodness of fit index as a good model. This study provides empirical evidence of the benefits of CSR in increasing customer’s satisfaction, brand image, brand equity, and brand preference. Disclosure of CSR practices using proper approach and right channels will optimalize the benefits of CSR in increasing bank reputation and brand preference. This study also provides empirical evidence of the significant positive influence of customer’s satisfaction on brand image, customer’s satisfaction on brand preference, brand image on brand equity, brand image on brand preference, and significant positive influence of brand equity on brand preference. Future research could further test the robustness of this model by using data collected from various banks.

The simple random sampling technique was used to collect the data from 617 banking customers. Structural Equation Modelling was used to measure the impact of corporate social responsibility on service performance through brand equity. The findings of the study indicates that CSR initiatives were linked to stronger service performance of the bank which ends stronger brand performance with the bank.

In recent times, small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) have focused their activities on short-term financial results. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is among the organizational practices currently being adopted by companies to increase their competitiveness. While some companies implement CSR out of curiosity or because it is aligned with their true social vocation, most embrace it to increase economic and financial performance. Whereas some theories support CSR practices and assert the great benefits these activities can yield, other theories state that management should not allocate resources to CSR actions. Focusing on SMEs, the present study sought to examine the effects of CSR on profitability from three perspectives: the social, the environmental, and the economic dimensions of social responsibility. The sample for this study included 81 companies in the industrial (54.3%) and services (45.7%) sectors operating in the south of the state of Sonora (Mexico). Data collection was carried out from August to November, 2013, and used a self-directed survey administered to company managers. Results were analyzed and validated using a variance-based statistical technique focused on structural equation models (SEM); the structured relationships were validated by partial least square (PLS) modeling using the SmartPLS Professional software (version 3.2.6). Our findings provide evidence that social and economic CSR activities have a positive influence on profitability in SMEs. This study contributes to the development of the main literature on CSR practices in their social, environmental, and economic dimensions: firm theory, sustainability theory, and stakeholder theory.

The objective of present study is to investigate the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and financial performance (FP) with the help of a stakeholder approach in the context of small and medium enterprises (SME) industry in Delhi NCR. A sample of 382 SMEs was analysed through a structured questionnaire having 22 statements out of which two statements were removed due to low factor loading. The goodness of fit was measured by AMOS–SEM and relationship between variables was examined by path analysis. The overall model was fit and finding indicated a weak positive relationship between CSR and FP. The results were in conformance with previous research works by Jain, Vyas and Durga (2016) and Weber (2008). It was also observed that SMEs are socially responsible towards their stakeholders, but it is more in informal nature rather than adopting it as a strategy. Further, the results revealed that CSR of SMEs is associated with religious spirit.

This study aims to examine the associated relationships between transformational leadership, corporate social responsibility, and organizational performance. A total of 217 questionnaires were gathered from employees operating the various pharmaceutical companies in Jordan and then were analysed using structural equation modelling (SEM). The results of the data were threefold. First, transformational leadership did not have a positive influence on organizational performance. Second, transformational leadership did have a positive influence on corporate social responsibility. Third, corporate social responsibility did have a positive influence on organizational performance. These findings may aid future researchers in their quest in understanding the inherent relationships that lie between the variables in question and may provide a platform for managers in their efforts to improve organizational performance.

The concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) plays an important role in corporate marketing and is understood as a strategic variable, because if managed properly, it can increase the corporation's market share. This study investigates the various causal relationships between corporate social responsibility, corporate brand credibility (CBC), corporate reputation (CR) and corporate brand equity (CBE). Data were collected through a survey with a self-administered structured questionnaire, with five response options scored on a Likert scale. The sample included 310 consumers who expressed their opinions on a large Brazilian oil and gas company. The data were treated through structural equation modeling with partial least squares. The results showed that CSR has direct and indirect effects on CBE. Mixed methods are worthwhile to those who are working on a doctorate research work. Moreover, it will be helpful to develop knowledge through this method that can be beneficial to academia and Practitioners.
