Pesantren as subcultures are indeed interesting to be studied. Several studies have been carried out such as Zamakhsary Dhofier on the network of pesantren in Java and Martin van Bruinessen on the pesantren and tarekat. Continuing it, Ading Kusdiana through her dissertation at Padjadjaran University conducted a research on the network of Pesantren in the Priangan region (West Java), focusing on the existence and continuity of Pesantren through five inter-Islamic networks: scientific networks, marriage, genealogical, congregational religious views, and the similarity of the vision of opposition to the invaders. Kusdiana's research confirmed Zamakhshari Dhofier's theory and did not refute it at all. So that this feels like a new work with a sense of "old work". The study of this theme will be even more interesting if Kusdiana uses the new genealogical theory as Yudi Latif did. This will also portray changes and continuity in the network of Pesantren. However, Kusdiana’s work deserves to be appreciated because it presents a lot of new data-information regarding the traces and spreads of Pesantren in Priangan. Through thiswork, we can get a relatively completed picture of the world of Pesantren in Priangan in the 1800-1945 period. Keywords: Network of Pesantren, Genealogy Theory, Pesantren in Priangan Pesantren sebagai subkultur memang menarik dikaji.

For many Muslims throughout the world, oral preaching provides the most accessible and enjoyable medium for learning about Islam and its meanings for everyday life. This is true in Indonesia’s West Java province, where almost 98% of the population of around forty-three million practices Islam. Despite its popularity, Indonesia’s Islamic elites are concerned about the value of preaching. They see that Islam provides directives and motivations towards progress in areas of social and political concern, but argue that this progress will not be achieved if Muslims are satisfied with the pleasing artifice of clever preachers. Millie spent fourteen months in the company of some of West Java’s most successful Islamic preachers, but also spent time with critics of listening. He described and explores a dichotomy between Islamic speech which succeeds because it is shaped to suit listeners’ social realities, and discourses about Muslim subjectivity that connect media consumption with aspirations for social and political progress, and which portray listening as anachronistic and inefficacious. This detailed analysis sheds light on a question that is increasingly important in efforts to understand contemporary Muslim societies: What is the place of pious listening in the complex societies of today?

The condition of State and Private Universities in Indonesia, especially West Java, is connected with the condition of universities in the world is still very alarming. <p class="PythagorasAbstractBodyEnglish">The genus Morchella or known as morels is one of the most popular edible mushrooms around the world. Information regarding the distribution and cultivation of this fungus are mostly from the temperate country. In Indonesia, to date only 2 reports of the distribution of this mushroom have been found, at Mount Rinjani West Nusa Tenggara (2012) and Mount Klabat Minahasa Utara (2019). Since then, there have been no report of this macrofungi in Indonesia. In 2020, local people ( the members of the Indonesian mushroom hunting community) shared the information about the appereance of Morchella at residence area near Mount Gede Pangrango, West Java. Morphological identification which completed by the description and macroscopic characterization confirmed the identity of the macrofungi as Morchella sp. Further observation using microscopic characters and / or DNA data needs to be done to confirm the taxonomic position to the species level in the future studies. This information adds to the recording of Morchella distribution and its potential use in Indonesia.</p><p><strong>K</strong><strong>eywords</strong>: <em>Inventory, Macrofungi, Indonesia, Morchella</em><em></em></p>
