The condition of State and Private Universities in Indonesia, especially West Java, is connected with the condition of universities in the world is still very alarming. PTN and PTS rankings in Indonesia and West Java in particular are still far from expectations. West Java Higher Education Position for world level still not able to occupy the rank of 100 magnitude. Still far from the top 50 positions. Even to the level of Asia although not many PT in Indonesia especially West Java which is able to occupy the top 50 rankings. In ASEAN only UI is able to rank 6th ASEAN. The others are far from expectations. The phenomenon of such problems need to be explored and sought by the solution so that Indonesian universities in West Java can advance in the competition among PT in the world, especially ASEAN and Asia so as to increase the competitiveness of Indonesian nation in the competition of nations in the world.Keywords: Universities, Competitiveness, Asean Economic Community

Female gender has been identified as a domestic worker, of course, requires a great struggle to fit in the commercialization of the world of work. This paper attempts to provide an alternative as part of efforts to improve the professionalism and competitiveness of women Facing Era Asean Economic Community (AEC). Women's empowerment aims as human resources in development, is expected to have professionalism and competitiveness in komersialiasai world of work. Empowerment of women itself is instilling the values that aims to develop self-potential women's dignity and individual (human dignity), be able to help themselves. Empowerment is certainly still involve the public as users of services for women workers, as well as the target group of women empowerment, the expected lack of understanding of the role of women in the era of Asean Economy Community (AEC) which requires professionalism and competitiveness. Therefore, the empowerment that need to be built is public awareness of gender equality, the commercialization of the world of work for women, supporting gender Responship government policy, the optimization of formal and informal education of women, giving space / opportunity and confidence to women to be able to show self-actualization , gave a positive appreciation, and develop skills-based hobby to be able to have creative ideas.

Preparations for the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) 2025 require accountants to play an important role in an era of openness that demands information accountability. The lack of generic accounting skills from an industry point of view motivates researchers to conduct quantitative research aimed at investigating whether there are gaps in expectation-performance in generic accounting skills. The data of this study were collected through survey using questionnaires as the instrument. The research sample is accounting vocational educators and users of accounting graduates in Indonesia. This study identified the gap between the expectations of accounting graduates users related to the importance of general accounting skills for career success with generic accounting skills performed by accounting graduates. This research is expected to contribute as a material consideration for educators in accounting vocational higher education institutions in Indonesia in preparing learning models in order to accommodate the needs of the work field of accounting.

Competition of the world of education, especially universities at this time sorapidly for public and private universities. This study aims to determine the preferenceof prospective students and students in selecting universities in Gorontalo Province.This research uses a quantitative approach by conducting a survey to a number ofprospective students who enroll in a number of universities or universities inGorontalo. The results of research show the most considered factors by respondents(students and students) in choosing a college to continue study is the choice of studyprogram, preferences in choosing a college is the reputation of a college and theencouragement of parents. Costs are no longer the most calculated factor in theselection of universities.

Indonesia's tourism development continues to be encouraged for the sake of Indonesia made tourism the number one in the world. In fact, many people believe in tourism 2020 Indonesia so-world examples. The Minister of Tourism, believes the expected increase of 20 million travelers arrived in 2020. Along with the advent of globalization and the implementation of the ASEAN Economic Community, the District Government of Malang intends to develop coastal tourism, which is a source of income and constructed within the region, in particular, the field of tourism, in order to compete with other regions, not only domestically, but also abroad. This study aims, is to respond to the regent Malang's aims by contemplating sustainable coastal tourism in Balekambang beach. The result from this study is based on its concept indicating that these destinations are quite friendly environment with the gap of minimizing environment impacts and preserving its environment. The effort of preserve that environment shows the lowest performance on the existing condition. It's validated by the concern of minimizing an environmental impact, needs to be improved. The evidence shows from a previous story about it. Thereby, too many overlapping government-regulations in managing the using of the environment for tourism enterprises (coastal). In addition, utilization an environment for tourism is generally more concerned with the economic contribution to the treasury of the effort to control and sustainable environmental management.

ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) is a major issue in the world of tourism, especially for the hospitality industry. The quality of human resources becomes essential aspects in order to face the AEC, therefore employee performance is very important to note the suitability those performance low can be influenced by some issues ability and motivation work employees. The aim of this research is to find out how the work ability and motivation give or affect the performance of employees di Hotel Isola. The method used in this research is explanatory survey method. Samples were frontline employees as much as 40 respondents by stratified random sampling. Data were analyzed by by using path analysis with SPSS V.22.0 The results showed that there is influence between the variables of work ability and variable work motivation on employee performance.

Youth is the hope of the nation that has a great responsibility for the future of the nation and country. A heavy burden on his shoulders has its own consequences, which the youth must be able to work and participate in development. Youth with all its potential has an important role in the future life. Therefore, the youth must master in soft skills and hard skills to be able to compete with other nations in the world. This paper describes the role of the youth to build a nation with wisdom, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual needs to have to face the various challenges of the times. Similarly, the readiness of the youth needed both physically and psychologically in order to welcome the free market of Southeast Asia / ASEAN Economic Community (MEA) is imminent. Youth with all the benefits expected to be the generation that is better than the previous generation, so that the nation still exist in the eyes of the world. Through the study of literature describes how the role of youth in the face of global challenges to be enactment of Asian Economic Community (MEA) will be presented very competitive. In addition to the example and support that should be provided by parents, governments, and private parties as well as other related exercise wisdom, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual youth should be conducted on an ongoing basis in order to anticipate things that are not desirable. Recent decades, we often hear the advent of the Asean Economic Community (AEC) which is a community that is struggling in the field of free market economies in particular, so it requires some readiness; economic, capital, and the equally important need readiness of human resources as the party who run the economy. For Indonesia alone, MEA will be an opportunity for trade barriers will tend to diminish even be non-existent. This will impact on increasing exports, which in turn will increase the GDP of Indonesia. On the other hand, the Muslims as the vast majority of Indonesia's population must face the Asean Economic Community (AEC). In this case Indonesian Muslims should be careful and ready to face the AEC. Campaigners Indonesian economy began to prepare for the era of free markets that will be enforced. The era of the free market itself is the result of the formation of the Asean Economic Community (AEC). The free market itself covering the areas of capital, goods and services, and labor. In this regard, please note that the mission is a process conducted by a conscious and planned to invite the people to the path of Allah, to improve the situation for the better (da’wah is the promotion and development) in order to achieve certain goals, namely to live happily in the world hereafter. In this paper will attempt to peel da’wah efforts in developing the quality of the people in the face of the Asean Economic Community (AEC).

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) is an organization of countries in Southeast Asia established in Bangkok, Thailand, on August 8, 1967 under the Bangkok Declaration by Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. For more th an five decades ASEAN has experienced many positive and significant developments towards a more integrative and forward - looking stage with the establishment of an ASEAN Community by 2015.  The ASEAN Community not only affects the economic sector, but also other sectors, including "education" as an effort to build competitive human resources. The ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) challenges in education that will be faced are the proliferation o f foreign educational institutions, standardization of orientation in education, which is pro - market, and markets labor that will be flooded by foreign workers. Therefore, the era of ASEAN free trade should be welcomed by the world of education quickly, so that the human resources (HR) of Indonesia, especially by women who still have low resource. They should be prepared for facing an intense competition with other countries.  ASEAN countries have considered synchronizing the certification standards, streng thening, and improving the skills and knowledge of ASEAN youth and women in the regional integration process. Therefore, ASEAN countries have always been active in encouraging cooperative relations in various levels of education and training, at the same t ime encouraging all organizations and schools in each country to seek cooperation partners in other countries of the ASEAN region.
