The paper deals with some aspects of mathematical modeling of a scroll compressor. Various approaches to modeling the working processes of machines of the volumetric compression principle, their applied value and priority of use are presented. An analytical review of the methods for calculating the leakage of a compressed medium, applied to a scroll compressor, taking into account the classification of slots, is carried out. Conclusions are made about the need to clarify the assumptions and improve this technique by taking into account the fact of the mobility of the walls of the gap, depending on the share of the influence of various factors on the leakage of the compressed medium. And also about the influence of this fact on the accuracy of calculations and the optimal choice of the operating mode of the compressor. Examples are given in which taking this condition into account in the transformed systems of equations will improve the accuracy in applied calculations of the working processes of spiral machines, when designing new samples.

The article presents materials of Lecture 8 in Theory of carrying and lifting, construction and road vehicles and equipment, which describes the following issues: the rock properties, the rock crushing degree, the basics of the lump crushing theory and types of crushing machines. The technological process of crushing with a roll crusher is described; the values of forces acting in roll crushers are calculated.Along with the process of crushing, the article deals with the processes of segregation and concentration, the basic of the screening (fractionation) theory and features of the hydraulic classification of nonmetallic materials.

We prove that the monodromy group of a reduced irreducible square system of general polynomial equations equals the symmetric group. This is a natural first step towards the Galois theory of general systems of polynomial equations, because arbitrary systems split into reduced irreducible ones upon monomial changes of variables. In particular, our result proves the multivariate version of the Abel–Ruffini theorem: the classification of general systems of equations solvable by radicals reduces to the classification of lattice polytopes of mixed volume 4 (which we prove to be finite in every dimension). We also notice that the monodromy of every general system of equations is either symmetric or imprimitive. The proof is based on a new result of independent importance regarding dual defectiveness of systems of equations: the discriminant of a reduced irreducible square system of general polynomial equations is a hypersurface unless the system is linear up to a monomial change of variables.

Kertas kerja ini membentangkan suatu mekanisme untuk pengelasan susuk tubuh manusia berdasarkan kombinasi pelbagai jelmaan ruang eigen yang dinamakan sebagai eigenposture dan Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) sebagai pengelas. Penjelmaan komponen utama telah digunakan untuk menyari sifat pada bayang-bayang bentuk badan manusia. Gabungan sarian sifat ini digunakan untuk pengelasan susuk tubuh manusia sebagai berdiri atau sebaliknya berasaskan bentuk badan yang diperoleh selepas proses peruasan. Uji kaji telah dijalankan dengan mengubah bilangan vektor eigen yang dijadikan perwakilan untuk tujuan pengelasan. Keputusan yang diperoleh menunjukkan gabungan eigenposture kedua dan keempat memberi keputusan pengelasan bentuk badan manusia yang agak baik iaitu 98% dan boleh dijadikan sebagai pilihan optimal masukan bagi tujuan pengelasan menggunakan bilangan input minima. Kata kunci: Analisa komponen utama, vektor eigen, pengelasan, rangkaian neural tiruan, susuk tubuh manusia This paper outlines a mechanism for human body posture classification based on various combination of eigenspace transform, which we named as eigenposture, and using Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) as classifier. We apply principal component transformation to extract the features from human shape silhouettes. Combinations of the extracted features were used to classify the posture of standing and non-standing based on the human shape obtained from the segmentation process. We experiment by using various combinations of eigenvectors as input representations for classification purpose. Results showed that the second and fourth eigenpostures combination gives reasonably good result with 98% correct classification of human posture and can be adopted as the optimal choice of input for classification using a minimal combination. At present, there are lots of calculation methods of acid dew point of flue gas; formula of acid dew point in the thermal calculation from the former U.S.S.R has been widely applied in China. But this formula still has some problems, such as the desulphurization ability of different fuels, classification of sulfur content in fuel and the factors of SO2 transferred into SO3.In order to solve these problems,the formula of the acid dew point in the thermal calculation from the former U.S.S.R is adjusted. It was found that the precision of A.G.O kkes formula is the highest by comparing several formulas. So the last will be the compilation of the new formula and A.G.O kkes formula, the former Soviet union formula and the calculation of burning lean coal,bituminous coal and lignite typical instance of 600 MW,it was found that the precision of new formula calculation has improved.

The article describes and analyzes the Information Retrieval (IR) methods and applications in the environment of Semantic Web. The author provided the basic Information Retrieval concepts, problems, models and classification of IR systems on various grounds. Examples of existing modern search engines, as well as highlighted the stages of development and listed a list of functional and architectural features of 3-rd search engines generation. The proposed model of IR extends the classification of search engines and search model with the possibility of finding new objects that have become available in the web, and use knowledge represented in the Semantic Web.
