In order to determine the basic conditions for further research to identify threats to cloud technologies and measures for their counteraction, the article provides an extended analysis of cloud computing as a service. Among the above services, the basic services IaaS, SaaS, PaaS are selected, which are the basis for the existence of more unified services (CaaS, MCaS, DaaS, FaaS, IPaaS, MBaaS, NaaS, SeCaa, DBaaS, MaaS, DBaaS, MaaS, DBaaS, MaaS that increase the scope. Listed are possible service providers, including Ukrainian. It is determined that in order to transfer the work of systems of engineering calculations and computer-aided design (CAD) systems to a cloud platform, a rather new promising service CAEaaS (Cоmputеr Аidеd Еnginееrіng аs а Sеrvіcе) – computer engineering systems as a service. The most popular SAEs are used in the following industries: mechanical engineering and machine tools, defense and aerospace, energy, shipbuilding, semiconductor production, telecommunications, chemical, pharmaceutical and medical industry, construction, production of heating, air conditioning, ventilation. The success of a project decision depends on the awareness of responsible choice in the very first stage. Unfortunately, in support of the CAEaaS cloud service, Ukraine is only making the first steps and can provide the technological needs of enterprises, provided the involvement of foreign suppliers. According to the authors of the article, the future of the Ukrainian industry according to the cloud service SAEaS. Because CAE helps reduce the cost and time of product development, improve product quality and durability. Design decisions can be made based on their impact on performance. Designs can be evaluated and refined using computer modeling rather than physical prototype testing, saving money and time. This article is the basis for further research on the identification of threats to cloud technologies and their response.

Benefits of using cloud technology are obvious, their application is expanding, as a result, it determines the steady growth of demand. Cloud computing has acquired particular relevance for large companies connected with Internet services, retailing, logistics that generate large volume of business and other information. The use of cloud technologies allows organizing the joint consumption of resources, solving the problems of storing and transferring significant amounts of data. Russian consumer cooperation refers to large territory distributed organizations actively forming their own digital ecosystem. The issue of data storing and processing for consumer coo-peration organizations is very relevant. At the same time, the prices of cloud service providers are significantly different and require solving the problem of minimizing the cost of storing and transferring significant amounts of data. The application of the linear programming method is considered to select the optimal data storage scheme for several cloud service providers having different technical and economic parameters of the package (maximum amount of storage, cost of allocated resources). Mathematical model includes the equation of costs for data storing and transferring and restrictions on the amount of storage, the amount of data and its safety. Software tool that allows to perform numerical calculations is selected Microsoft Excel in combination with the "search for solutions" add-on. In accordance with the mathematical model, the conditions for minimizing the amount of cloud storage costs and the necessary restrictions are established. Initial data are set for three data forming centers, storages of certain size for five cloud service providers and nominal price for information storage and transmission. Calculations of expenses are performed in several variants: without optimization, with the solution of the optimization problem, with price increase by cloud service providers. Results of the calculations confirm the necessity to solve the problem of minimizing the cost of cloud services for corporate clients. The presented model can be expanded for any cost conditions as well as for different areas of cloud applications.

Abstract. The modern world is in the phase of active implementation of digitalization of most processes, including cloud technologies, which is also associated with the introduction of quarantine measures in most countries. Over the past decade, the average annual growth of the cloud services market has expanded by about 50% to more than $ 220 billion. This figure is projected to exceed $ 500 billion in the near future. Currently, a large number of cloud service companies are concentrated in the market. All companies can be classified into national, operating within one country, and international, operating in many countries simultaneously. In Ukraine, the leader is the high-tech company De Novo, which provides services in the segment of corporate clients based on VMware, EMC, Microsoft Azure solutions. Competitors are well-known foreign IT giants, namely: Oracle, IBM, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, HP and others. The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine plays an important role in this area. The latter signed an agreement with Microsoft to implement the Azure Expansion Program and accelerate Ukraine's digital transformation, including the development of Azure cloud services for the sum of more than $ 500 million. The transition from physical, outdated IT technologies to new cloud services will allow companies to significantly reduce the cost of maintaining their own staff of IT professionals and engineers, reduce dependence on IT equipment suppliers and increase productivity and efficiency of the decisions made. The management of the enterprise can choose one of the offered models from the companies-providers: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS. The choice will depend on the immediate management needs and financial capabilities of the enterprise. In Ukraine, the biggest share of users of cloud services belongs to large utility companies and state enterprises, namely: Dija, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Kyiv Municipal Enterprise "Informatics", Prozorro, Ukrposhta, E-Health (National Health Center of Ukraine), Naftogaz and several other organizations. Thus, the introduction of cloud services involves digital business transformations, namely: optimization of business processes, acceleration of innovation, cost reduction and so on. Key words: IT technologies, cloud technologies, cloud service providers, management, business. JEL Classification L86, M15 Formulas: 0; fig.: 1; tabl.: 2; bibl.: 21.

With the increasing maturity of cloud technologies and the growing demand from customers, the cloud computing ecosystem has been expanding continuously with both incumbents and new entrants, whereby it has become more distributed and less transparent. For cloud service providers previously focusing on growth strategies, it is now necessary to shift the attention to providing service efficiently, as well as profitably. Based on 14 explorative interviews with cloud service experts, the relationship between cloud service provider profitability and value facilitation, which stands for the capability to build up resources in advance of future customer engagements, is investigated. The results indicate a positive relationship between cloud service profitability and value facilitation and deliver valuable insights for both researchers and practitioners. In particular, guidelines on how to design profitable cloud service offerings are discussed.

With the tremendous growth of available digital data, the use of Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) are gaining more popularity, since these types of services promise to provide convenient and efficient storage services to end-users by taking advantage of a new set of benefits and savings offered by cloud technologies in terms of computational, storage, bandwidth, and transmission costs. we propose solutions for different data types (text, image and video) for secure data de-duplication in cloud environments. Our schemes allow users to upload their data in a secure and efficient manner such that neither a semi-honest CSP nor a malicious user can access or compromise the security of the data. Moreover, we propose proof of storage protocols including Proof of Retrievability (POR) and Proof of Ownership (POW) so that users of cloud storage services are able to ensure that their data has been saved in the cloud without tampering or manipulation. Experimental results are provided to validate the effectiveness of the proposed schemes. proposes a method to improve the read performance by investigating the recently accessed chunks and their locality in the backup set (data stream). Based on this study of the distribution of chunks in the data stream, few chunks are identified that need to be accumulated and stored to serve the future read requests better. This identification and accumulation happen on cached chunks. By this a small degree of duplication of the de-duplicated data is introduced, but by later caching them together during the restore of the same data stream, the read performance is improved. Finally the read performance results obtained through experiments with trace datasets are presented and analyzed to evaluate the design.

Cloud computing is the computing technology which provides resources like software, hardware, services over the internet. Cloud computing provides computation, software, data access, and storage services that do not require end- user knowledge of the physical location and configuration of the system that delivers the services. Cloud computing enables the user and organizations to store their data remotely and enjoy good quality applications on the demand without having any burden associated with local hardware resources and software managements but it possesses a new security risk towards correctness of data stored at cloud. The data storage in the cloud has been a promising issue in these days. This is due to the fact that the users are storing their valuable data and information in the cloud. The users should trust the cloud service providers to provide security for their data. Cloud storage services avoid the cost storage services avoids the cost expensive on software, personnel maintains and provides better performance less storage cost and scalability, cloud services through internet which increase their exposure to storage security vulnerabilities however security is one of the major drawbacks that preventing large organizations to enter into cloud computing environment. This work surveyed on several storage techniques and this advantage and its drawbacks.

This paper studies dynamic pricing for cloud service where different resources are consumed by different users. The traditional cloud resource pricing models can be divided into two categories: on-demand service and reserved service. The former only takes the using time into account and is unfair for the users with long using time and little concurrency. The latter charges the same price to all the users and does not consider the resource consumption of users. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a flexible dynamic pricing model for cloud resources, which not only takes into account the occupying time and resource consumption of different users but also considers the maximal concurrency of resource consumption. As a result, on the one hand, this dynamic pricing model can help users save the cost of cloud resources. On the other hand, the profits of service providers are guaranteed. The key of the pricing model is how to efficiently calculate the maximal concurrency of resource consumption since the cost of providers is dynamically varied based on the maximal concurrency. To support this function in real time, we propose a data structure based on the classical B+ tree and the implementation for its corresponding basic operations like insertion, deletion, split, and query. Finally, the experiment results show that we can complete the dynamic pricing query on 10 million cloud resource usage records within 0.2 seconds on average.

Cloud computing has become an important alternative for solving big data processing. Nowadays, cloud service providers usually offer users a virtual machine with various combinations of prices. As each user has different circumstances, the problem of choosing the cost-minimized combination under a deadline constraint as well as user's preference is becoming more complex. This article is concerned with the investigation of adapting a user's preference policies for scheduling real-time divisible loads in a cloud computing environment. The workload allocation approach used in this research is using Divisible Load Theory. The proposed algorithm aggregates resources into groups and optimally distributes the fractions of load to the available resources according to user's preference. The proposed algorithm was evaluated by simulation experiments and compared with the baseline approach. The result obtained from the proposed algorithm reveals that a significant reduction in computation cost can be attained when the user's preferences are low priority.

Maintaining the quality of service (QoS) related parameters is an important issue in cloud management systems. The lack of such QoS parameters discourages cloud users from using the services of cloud service providers. The proposed task scheduling algorithms consider QoS parameters such as the latency, make-span, and load balancing to satisfy the user requirements. These parameters cannot sufficiently guarantee the desired user experience or that a task will be completed within a predetermined time. Therefore, this study considered the cost-enabled QoS-aware task (job) scheduling algorithm to enhance user satisfaction and maximize the profit of commercial cloud providers. The proposed scheduling algorithm estimates the cost-enabled QoS metrics of the virtual resources available from the unified resource layer in real-time. Moreover, the virtual machine (VM) manager frequently updates the current state-of-the art information about resources in the proposed scheduler to make appropriate decisions. Hence, the proposed approach guarantees profit for cloud providers in addition to providing QoS parameters such as make-span, cloud utilization, and cloud utility, as demonstrated through a comparison with existing time-and cost-based task scheduling algorithms.

Cloud computing provides pay-as-you-go computing resources and accessing services are offered from data centers all over the world as the cloud. Consumers may find that cloud computing allows them to reduce the cost of information management as they are not required to own their servers and can use capacity leased from third parties or cloud service providers. Cloud consumers can successfully reduce total cost of resource provisioning using Optimal Cloud Resource Provisioning (OCRP) algorithm in cloud computing environment. The two provisioning plans are reservation and on-demand, used for computing resources which is offered by cloud providers to cloud consumers. The cost of utilizing computing resources provisioned by reservation plan is cheaper than that provisioned by on-demand plan, since a cloud consumer has to pay to provider in advance. This project proposes that the OCRP algorithm associated with rule based resource manager technique is used to increase the scalability of cloud on-demand services by dynamic placement of virtual machines to reduce the cost and also endow with secure accessing of resources from data centers and parameters like virtualized platforms, data or service management are monitored in the cloud environment.
