To prevent medical errors or even accidents, our solution is to design the closed-loop application based on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology in the Hospital Information System (HIS). We focus on the information improvement for doctor's order based on RFID. The whole closed-loop process starts from the initial collection of the patient's information, through confirmation of the unique identification of the patient, and to the finishing of the doctor's order at last. The final information is written back into HIS. Medical staff can collect and deal with the patient's information straightly through the system, thereby guarantee maximal medical information correctness. The system design of the closed-loop process of the doctors order includes new workflow and its wireless system architecture based on RFID in the ward environment.

This research was conducted by prediction of safety stock using Fuzzy Time Series (FTS) and technology of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) for stock control at Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI). Well-controlled stock influenced company revenue and minimized cost. It discussed about information system of safety stock prediction developed through programming language of PHP. Input data consisted of demand got from automatic, online and real time acquisition using technology of RFID, then, sent to server and stored at online database. Furthermore, data of acquisition result was predicted by using algorithm of FTS applying universe of discourse defining and fuzzy sets determination. Fuzzy set result was continued to division process of universe of discourse in order to be to final step. Prediction result was displayed at information system dashboard developed. By using 60 data from demand data, prediction score was 450.331 and safety stock was 135.535. Prediction result was done by error deviation validation using Mean Square Percent Error of 15%. It proved that FTS was good enough in predicting demand and safety stock for stock control. For deeper analysis, researchers used data of demand and universe of discourse U varying at FTS to get various result based on test data used.

Abstract. In accordance with the regulations, the Cross Compliance law in Hungary is estimated to be put into practice from 2009, with which the tracking, registration and marking of animals, furthermore the food safety will receive a more elaborated role. That is why we provide a full-scale review of traceability opportunities of the poultry sector. The Poultry Information System (PIS) could create a more perspicuous poultry sector, however, its extremely high need of administration is an obligation hard to put up with for the breeders. The means of bird marking, such as the use of leg bands, wing tags, nasal markers, and the individual marking with transponders, based on radio-frequency identification were developed in order to overcome the growing need of complying the rules of food safety. The most up to date mean of marking in the poultry sector is the RFID (radiofrequency identification) technology.

The article deals with the possibilities and advantages of implementing radio-frequency identification technology (hereinafter referred to as “RFID”) and the electronic product code information system (hereinafter referred to as “EPCIS”) in manufacturing facilities in the Czech Republic. It describes the common efforts of many partners aimed at establishing and implementing a customized system supporting members of the logistics and manufacturing chain, in particular, in the automotive industry. The article describes research and development in the field of EPCIS systems and experience of a RFID laboratory in the field of EPCIS, summarizing the steps achieved in the first year of the project.

Eastern Naval Warehousing is the technical implementation elements in charge of receiving, storing, maintaining and distributing supplies to support existing user in the Navy in particular user located in the eastern region. To support the operational activities of the Navy, Eastern Naval Warehousing as service organizations should be supported with the provision of an information system capable of supporting the activities become more optimal provisioning. Speed and accuracy of support provision to user is an indication for the success of a service. Information technology nowadays has grown very rapidly to develop into the current warehousing system. RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is the process of identifying an object automatically by Radio Frequency. There are two important components of an RFID system is the card (tag) and the reader. Application warehousing information system can be integrated with RFID technology, so that the system can run more optimal for warehousing system. This research aims to design warehousing information system based on RFID in Eastern Naval Warehousing used in processing existing warehousing system to gain optimal in provisioning operations running in Eastern Naval Warehousing to support provisioning activities to meet the requirement of existing user in Navy. Field studies conducted in Eastern Naval Warehousing, aimed to determine the current state of warehousing system that runs to identify existing problems. Furthermore, to process the data, created the design of an information system based on RFID warehousing in software system. This paper get to report out of the goods, report the amount of inventory in real time, the location of goods and EOQ value of goods to determine the optimal inventory level of each item.
