Technology trend analysis uses data relevant to historical performance and extrapolates it to estimate and assess the future potential of technology. Such analysis is used to analyze emerging technologies or predict the growing markets that influence the resulting social or economic development to assist in effective decision-making. Traditional trend analysis methods are time-consuming and require considerable labor. Moreover, the implemented processes may largely rely on the specific knowledge of the domain experts. With the advancement in the areas of science and technology, emerging cross-domain trends have received growing attention for its considerable influence on society and the economy. Consequently, emerging cross-domain predictions that combine or complement various technologies or integrate with diverse disciplines may be more critical than other tools and applications in the same domain. This study uses a design science research methodology, a text mining technique, and social network analysis (SNA) to analyze the development trends concerning the presentation of the product or service information on a company's website. This study applies regulatory technology (RegTech) as a case to analyze and justify the emerging cross-disciplinary trend. Furthermore, an experimental study is conducted using the Google search engine to verify and validate the proposed research mechanism at the end of this study. The study results reveal that, compared with Google Trends and Google Correlate, the research mechanism proposed in this study is more illustrative, feasible, and promising because it reduces noise and avoids the additional time and effort required to perform a further in-depth exploration to obtain the information.

The communities have significantly increased in number and the environment has become complex. There are problems such as poor information collection in community public service information governance, lack of relevant analysis standards and models, and unreliable prediction results. In order to forecast and manage the risk information of the community, this research analyzes the public information of the community through the collaborative deep learning model. First of all, the information characteristic factors are selected that affect social risks based on the correlation analysis theory. Secondly, the convolutional neural network is used in deep learning for simulation of the community risk prediction model. Finally, through the comparative analysis of the model prediction results, it can be concluded that the accuracy rate of the proposed prediction model reaches 92.5%. An effective collaborative deep learning model is used to govern community public service information.

In telemetry systems, using irreversible data compression, several message generation methods can be used. In the channel output packet, there may be several code words defining its composition. They can be combined and arranged in a strictly defined sequence. Such a data packet is a constant or variable length code combination, wherein the constant length of the packet is generated in the case of a predetermined and unchanged amount of information at the data output interval, and the variable is otherwise generated. The channel data packet can then be treated as a single whole: provide it with address information about the source of the message, information about the time interval at which the packet was formed, to bind significant samples to time, additional check symbols and codes to increase interference immunity of transmission, or to form a packet structure in the same way. Address, time and synchronization information in the literature is called overhead. The need to transmit overhead information reduces the efficiency of the transceiver systems. Therefore, the problem of reducing the volume of service information is extremely urgent.

This paper presents a new hardware reconfiguration approach named hardware reconfiguration through digital television (HARD), which can update FPGA hardware modules based on digital TV (DTV) signals. Such a scheme allows several synthesized hardware cores (bitstreams) signaled and broadcast through open DTV signals via data streaming to be identified, acquired, decoded, and then used for system updates. Reconfiguration data are partitioned, encapsulated into private sections, and then sent in a carrousel fashion in order to be recovered by modified receivers. Service information content, specially designed for identifying and describing the characteristics of multiplexed hardware bitstreams, was added to the transmitted signal and provided all necessary information in the traditional DTV style. The receiver framework, in turn, checked whether those characteristics corresponded to its embedded reconfigurable devices and, if a match was found, it reassembled the related bitstreams and reconfigured the respective internal circuits. Experiments performed with an implementation of the proposed methodology confirmed its feasibility and showed that remounting and reconfiguration times were satisfactory and presented no blocking aspect. Finally, HARD can be used in several designs regarding intelligent reconfigurable devices, minimize device costs in the long term, and provide better hardware reuse.

Abstract This presentation discusses a comprehensive needs assessment to inform long-term strategic planning for the Detroit Area Agency on Aging. The goal was to provide in-depth input from the older population (age 60+) and key agency stakeholders, using surveys (413 community participants), listening sessions (132 participants), 23 interviews with homebound older adults, and online surveys (94) targeting medical, church, government, academic, media and HSO stakeholders. Findings indicate that many participants were not aware of available community services. For example, one-third (33.3%) had not heard of Medicaid waivers providing services outside of nursing homes, while nearly one in five (22.0%) had not heard about senior employment services. The most common areas of unmet need were for caregiver workshops (16.3%) and diabetes management classes (15.7%). Community services most often noted as ‘extremely important’ included health and wellness programs (68.8%), services to help access health and supportive services (71%), easy to find service information (67.7%), home care and housekeeping services (66.4%), and caregiver support (63.7%). Stakeholder findings provide insight regarding this lack of awareness. Asked “How familiar do you think the general public is with DAAA?” , 10.8% answered ‘very familiar’ and 33% ‘unfamiliar’. Findings related to an “Age-Friendly City” suggest the importance of access to supportive community services, transportation, safety, housing, and healthcare. Engagement of older adults in needs assessments plays a vital role in Area Agencies on Aging meeting the needs of emerging aging cohorts by developing ‘age friendly’ strategies to address increasing racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and cultural diversity.

John Searle Library has undertaken a reclassification of the Chinese Theological Collection belonging to Melbourne School of Theology.  It was found that Pettee Classification did not support cataloging sufficiently due to not being updated in decades.  Reclassification of the collection was necessary.  This paper discusses the decision-making process and how the new classification scheme for the collection was chosen. It describes the implementation of the reclassification project and reviews the outcomes. It was decided to reclassify the collection to Library of Congress Classification.  This resulted in improving information retrieval, increasing collection discoverability and visibility, and reducing staff time devoted to cataloguing and reference service. An interactive online LCC training module was developed to educate users.  As a result, users were engaged and empowered to discover the collection effectively. In conclusion, classification is not merely for shelving and retrieving items. It is the foundation of knowledge organization and also a core business to support many aspects of library service. Information professionals should rethink and reposition classification and transform it into a value-added service for the library.

In this paper, a binary fuzzy cluster analysis algorithm is used for an in-depth study and analysis of high-performance computational early warning in the agricultural economy. The definition of interval type-two fuzzy set and its operation are summarized. Considering the uncertain information that will be encountered in the evaluation process, this paper constructs the evaluation model of rural informatization construction performance based on interval type-two fuzzy numbers, which improves the accuracy of the evaluation results. The fuzzy clustering centres are modified according to the nature of the fuzzy clustering centre matrix, and the optimal fuzzy clustering centres and optimal fuzzy clustering division matrix with consistent order are solved. Using the level eigenvalues to find out in the abundant water period, there are 4 monitoring sections of water quality evaluation results for still clean and 5 monitoring sections of water quality evaluation results for slight pollution. In the flat-water period, there are 2 monitoring sections of the water quality evaluation results that are still clean and 7 monitoring sections of the water quality evaluation results are slightly polluted. In the dry water period, the water quality evaluation results of the 9 monitoring sections are slightly polluted. The results and the use of integrated pollutant index evaluation method results are consistent, indicating that the use of fuzzy clustering model for water quality evaluation is practical and effective. Its functional structure includes management business, innovation business, service business, production business, and operation business functions, in addition to the design of the collection and storage scheme based on Hadoop data warehouse, to achieve accurate matching of information of science and technology agricultural services in the whole agricultural industry chain. Finally, the implementation and maintenance of the cloud-based science and technology agricultural service information system are deployed, and the operational effects of its information system-related functions are demonstrated using prototype design. This paper constructs a comprehensive information system for science and technology agricultural services based on cloud technology that integrates management, innovation, service, production, and operation, which meets not only the needs of traditional science and technology agricultural service information systems, such as expert consultation and training demonstration, but also other needs spawned by the development of agricultural modernization.
