The aim of the study was to shed light on the situations of teachers and students and their perception of the atmosphere in a school where Turkish children were educated in the morning while Syrian refugee students were educated in the afternoon. In this study, the features of the school, and the scope of curriculum applied to Syrian children, and the problems within the education process were examined according to teachers’ as well as to students’ views. Interviews were conducted with 12 refugee students and 4 Syrian teachers at the school. It was found that teaching had not been the original job of most of the teachers who were teaching due to their economic difficulties. It was also ascertained that teachers had problems, especially with the curriculum as well as with teaching materials; their students had forgotten some part of what they had learned due to several years of gap in their education; and that most of these students carried with them the psychological effects of the war. Based on the results of the study, it is suggested that refugees’ education be carried out along with the students of the hosting country, that the curricula be prepared according to their needs, and that teachers working at these schools be equipped with an acceptable level of teaching skills.

The new century is very different. On the basis of interdependence, humanity has a unique opportunity for industrial modernization, alongside the dynamics of technology and communication development, information entropy, the volcanic eruption of visual and sound culture. This necessitates modernization in the education system /digital competences, transversal skills and good continuity between different stages of education /, triggered by intense changes in technology and the way of life of modern children. In kindergarten and primary education, the foundations for developmental learning are laid, where knowledge and skills in mathematics education are to be acquired and communicated that are applicable in everyday life.

ABSTRACT This research aims to determine lecturers’ views on online mathematics education and to get suggestions for its improvement. The participants of the study consist of 15 people who work as instructors in a private university. In the study, the quantitative-qualitative mixed pattern model was used. The data were collected from the participants with the help of an online form containing questions about sex, age, pedagogy status, computer usage levels and ten questions related to research. Participants expressed many positive and negative opinions on the online mathematics education process. Responses were analyzed as the opinions of the lecturers with/without pedagogical formation. According to the data obtained, faculty members with pedagogical formation argue that online mathematics education is appropriate in all aspects; however, those without a pedagogical formation are often against online mathematics education. Recommendations developed as a result of the findings are presented at the end of the study.

Educational institutions task - to create a student-centred environment that is able to choose and pursue their individual learning goals. The schoolenvronment is defined as the socio-cultural education authority area in which the permanent, versatile children's education and self-education process. Students orientation environment and its impact on the student's personal maturation and direct educational outcomes studied a number of Lithuanian and foreign scientists. The thesis is selected according to the students' orientation skills relevant to the problems that many Lithuanian general education schools. Defined labour problem that does not know how to effectively develop the 3-4 grade students' management skills. The main and primary goal - organizing educational activities based on experiential learning to develop students' grades 3-4 orienteering and argumentation skills in the environment. Involve analysis of scientific literature, 3-4 grade students conducted a survey, which aimed to help the students get a basic understanding, knowledge and skills of orienteering and argumentation environment. Upon receipt of the completed questionnaires to the children - they were analyzedand made certain conclusions about 3-4 grade student orientation environment capabilities. Results of the study show that students in grades 3-4 all important orienteering and argumentation skills. According to the study results, providing a further 3-4 grade students orienteering and argumentation skills development opportunities. It is important that the method develop is not a goal in itself, but a real and successful adaptation of the universal of the system. The Syrian refugee crisis creates significant challenges for universities because many of the refugees have academic qualifications and may want to pursue academic study once they have been accepted into a host country. This article argues that refugee-students can bring advantages to universities as well as contributing to the economies of host countries in the long run.

In this paper, the authors explore the re-adjustment experiences of seven refugee students from Syria and Iraq who enrolled in a large high school in New Brunswick. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, school and community documents, and field notes. Five themes were identified and are reported and discussed in this paper. Recommendations for future direction regarding how to successfully integrate Syrian refugee children into Canadian schools are provided.
