Smart Home is a technology that can make it easier for users to manage comfort and safety at home so they can control the equipment used, homeowners can open the gate automatically and check the temperature and humidity of the existing room at home. Sometimes homeowners forget to turn off or turn on the equipment used, and forget to close the gate again when no one is at home. From the above problems made a tool that can be used as a remote home appliance controller or can also be called smart home. This tool uses the ESP8266 wifi module as the main device and sensor control that is connected to the Telegram Application to give commands to the ESP8266 wifi module so that it can control the equipment used and is at home.

The paper proposing the cloud based internet of things for the smart connected objects, concentrates on developing a smart home utilizing the internet of things, by providing the embedded labeling for all the tangible things at home and enabling them to be connected through the internet. The smart home proposed in the paper concentrates on the steps in reducing the electricity consumption of the appliances at the home by converting them into the smart connected objects using the cloud based internet of things and also concentrates on protecting the house from the theft and the robbery. The proposed smart home by turning the ordinary tangible objects into the smart connected objects shows considerable improvement in the energy consumption and the security provision.

In recent years Smart Home appliance is a research hotspot in the home appliance industry. It is the product of a series of high-end technologies such as the Internet of Things, 5G, and AI, and is in the growth stage of the product life cycle. In this paper, the PESTAL analysis method and Porter's Five Forces model are used to analyze the environment and competition in the Chinese smart home industry. It is found that the generation of Smart Home conforms to the upgrading of social demand and economic development, so it is supported by the government. However the industry now lacks a unified technology connector, resulting in the fragmentation and isolation of current products from different producers. This paper also takes Haier Smart Home as an example, focusing on its analysis of product logic chain and of financial status. Through the establishment of seven brands, Haier Smart Home has created a perfect product system, which can meet the multi-level demand of middle and high-end, and ranks high in sales. Contrast to its competitors, Haier Smart Home's complex ownership structure and overlapping sales channels do harm to the efficiency of its operation, which eventually result in a low-profit margin, but its sales are high, and asset turnover also maintains at a good level, so the company overall operation is in good condition, and its future growth space is large.

In the recent years, technology make everything to do easier. Home automation is the system otomatization for smart home. This project aims to design an automatic system tool for smart home using arduino mega 2560 as a central controller, easyVR as sound processor, driver relay and power supply. After testing, the result of this project shows a design which able to control electronics at home using audio censor. The result shows that overall function is quite well and need about 2 seconds for activated load.

There are currently several systems for home automation and energy management available on the market. These systems are intended to reduce the use of energy, while ensuring optimal and customizable comfort conditions. The advances in technology (Internet of Things, sensors, cloud computing, data processing and thermal modelling) and in the design of interfaces should facilitate the adoption of convenient behaviours by final users, thereby producing more sustainable use of energy at home. Conversely, the effectiveness and efficiency of smart home systems for thermo-regulation is a complex activity, requiring the collaboration of multiple stakeholders and experts. In this paper, the authors report a case study about the design of a system for thermal regulation at home developed in a multidisciplinary research team for research and industrial purposes. The paper reports results including: a discussion on a number of issues involved in the design of smart home solutions for sustainability and on the importance of developing an integrated approach to their design; the needs analysis of users and of their functional requirements based on investigation with residents and profiling; final remarks about the role of User Experience Design methods and tools in the development of smart home solutions, understood as socio-technical systems.
