 Banking sector these days are providing many products/services to the customers in a competitive way. Using social media promotion is a strong tool to reach the prospective and regular customers in the cost effective and time efficient way. So, in this way this research attempts to measure the impact of social media promotion on customer purchase intention of commercial banks services. Descriptive and causal research design was used. Convenience sampling method was used to collect sample. Primary cross- section data were collected. Two hundred samples were approached and data were collected from them. Partial Least Square Structure Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was used to measure the research model. The research confirmed customer awareness, customer engagement, product/service perception and trust has significant impact on customer purchase intention of banks services. Banks management should focus on the importance of social media to enhance these factors.

This research contributes to building a comprehensive understanding on how customer evaluations regarding different facets of service fairness affect bank-consumer relationship building process and lead customers to perform various citizenship behaviors by examining empirically this relationship at multi-group level. Although banking service is known to encounter numerous service failure episodes there has been scant investigations in commercial banking sector of Pakistan that have addressed the connection among service fairness, relationship marketing and customer engagement. Data was gathered quantitively with the help of questionnaire distributed using stratified random sampling technique. Data was gathered from 1430 consumers of banking services located within scheduled bank branches in a single cross-section. The model was assessed using partial least square based Structured Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), using Smart PLS 3.2.7 statistical software. The results of this research confirmed that banking consumers commonly evaluate fairness in exchange relationships when dealing with service providers. The results show that service fairness evaluations had direct influence on customer citizenship behavior, however this relationship is better explained by a firm's relationship marketing efforts. Background During the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, governments issued movement restrictions and placed areas into quarantine to combat the spread of the disease. In addition, individuals were encouraged to adopt personal health measures such as social isolation. Information regarding the disease and recommended avoidance measures were distributed through a variety of channels including social media, news websites, and emails. Previous research suggests that the vast amount of available information can be confusing, potentially resulting in overconcern and information overload. Objective This study investigates the impact of online information on the individual-level intention to voluntarily self-isolate during the pandemic. Using the protection-motivation theory as a framework, we propose a model outlining the effects of cyberchondria and information overload on individuals’ perceptions and motivations. Methods To test the proposed model, we collected data with an online survey (N=225) and analyzed it using partial least square-structural equation modeling. The effects of social media and living situation were tested through multigroup analysis. Results Cyberchondria and information overload had a significant impact on individuals’ threat and coping perceptions, and through them on self-isolation intention. Among the appraisal constructs, perceived severity (P=.002) and self-efficacy (P=.003) positively impacted self-isolation intention, while response cost (P<.001) affected the intention negatively. Cyberchondria (P=.003) and information overload (P=.003) indirectly affected self-isolation intention through the aforementioned perceptions. Using social media as an information source increased both cyberchondria and information overload. No differences in perceptions were found between people living alone and those living with their families. Conclusions During COVID-19, frequent use of social media contributed to information overload and overconcern among individuals. To boost individuals’ motivation to adopt preventive measures such as self-isolation, actions should focus on lowering individuals’ perceived response costs in addition to informing them about the severity of the situation.

Marketing using digital media on the internet has become a necessity in the era of industrial technology 4.0. The Covid-19 pandemic has caused a shift in consumer behavior. Usually face to face changes to online shopping. UMKM Kuncup Seruni is a company that manufactures herbs and herbs from agricultural and plantation products. MSME Sri Rejeki is engaged in processing salak fruit products into various types of food, drinks, and snacks. The two MSME partners have produced many products. MSME's marketing reach is only local and promotions only rely on MSME exhibitions and showrooms that are available in the hope that consumers will come directly to the location. After the COVID19 pandemic, the number of visitors decreased drastically so that sales also decreased. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of Instagram social media on purchase intentions on Marketplace and analyze the influence of Instagram social media on purchase intentions on Marketplace mediated by the ease of communication. The novelty that emerged in this research is to develop the ease of communication so that the ease of communication is a very important concept to increase purchase intention. The research method related to the unit of analysis of this research is the consumers of UMKM Seruni and Sri Rejeki. The sample is 60 consumers, the sampling technique uses accidental, data collection uses a questionnaire (google form), conducts validity and reliability tests. The analysis technique uses the model of Structural Equation Modeling with PLS (Partial Least Square). Data analysis is descriptive and quantitative analysis. The results showed that there was no significant and significant effect of Instagram social media on purchase intentions on the Marketplace. The influence of Instagram social media on purchase intention is mediated by the ease of communication.

The Covid-19 pandemic that has hit the whole world has caused economic problems. Household consumption or the purchasing power of the Indonesian people fell very deeply. Whereas consumption or people's purchasing power supports 60% of the Indonesian economy. Therefore, the pattern of marketing is changed by doing marketing online. Companies use  social media influencer to advertise their products. This study was conducted to analyze the impact of social media influencers and brand image on online consumer purchase intentions. The criteria for respondents in this study were women aged 18 years and over who followed Tasya Farasya's Instagram and knew about Maybelline products. Partial Least Square (PLS) is used to analyze the respondent's data that has been collected. The results of this study indicate that social media influencers have no positive and significant effect on online purchase intentions. Meanwhile, brand image has a positive and significant effect on online purchase intentions.

Purpose Social media influencers (SMIs) have become an important source of influence that affects consumer behaviours in their decision-making processes. As such, this justifies scholarly attention in understanding how SMIs transfer their meanings to endorsed brands and drive consumers’ positive behavioural intentions. With the intention to fill this knowledge gap, this paper aims to examine the impact of SMIs’ credibility, as manifested by trustworthiness, attractiveness and expertise, along with the moderating effects of materialism, on followers’ purchase intention. Design/methodology/approach Self-administrated online surveys were used to collect data from Instagram users. A total of 191 usable data were collected and analysed using partial least square structural equation modelling. Findings The results show that SMIs’ trustworthiness and expertise are significant predictors of followers’ purchase intention. Moreover, the moderating effect of materialism on the relationship between attractiveness and purchase intention is significant. Notably, the influence of attractiveness on purchase intention is greater when materialism is high. Originality/value This research contributes to the SMI literature by examining the influence of SMIs’ trustworthiness, attractiveness and expertise, along with the moderating effect of materialism, on followers’ purchase intention.

The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of promotion on consumer trust, the impact of promotion on consumer purchase intentions, the impact of consumer trust on purchase intentions, and the impact of promotion on purchase intentions with consumer trust as a mediating variable. This research is a case study on Shopee e-commerce, with the research population being Shopee visitors in 2019, as many as 90.7 million. Determination of the sample by purposive as many as 100 people. This study is different from several previous studies which only examined the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. The novelty of this research is to present a mediating variable. The approach used in data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Square. The research output explains that in Shopee e-commerce there is a significant positive impact at the 10% real level for promotional variables on consumer trust, as well as promotion on purchase intention, the same results are also shown for the impact of consumer trust on purchase intention, as well as on promotional variables on purchase intention with consumer trust as a mediating variable.

This study attempts to investigate the effect of customer engagement which represented through surveillance, social interaction, sharing information, attraction, and social influence on OTA‟s (Online Travel Agency) customer engagement in social media such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram about its connection to purchase intention. The importance of this research is to understand the customer engagement level necessary to satisfy the needs of social media users that can lead to purchase intentions. The questionnaires used convenience sampling with totals of 30 questions and 200 respondents within the scope of Java Island Indonesia. Partial Least Square was used to analyze the data and six hypotheses were tested with five independent variables which are surveillance, social interaction, sharing information, attraction, and social influence. One mediating variable which is customer engagement, and one dependent variable purchase intention. The findings of this research are showing that OTAs are better if they focus on social influence, social interaction, and sharing information to increase customer engagement and ultimately create the intention to purchase for customers.

The present study aims to determine critical factors affecting the green product purchase intention of Bangladeshi young consumers. In order to investigate the relationship, a formal questionnaire survey has been conducted targeting young Bangladeshi consumers, aged between 18 and 32 years old. A total of 400 responses have been finally screened out for analysis. Data analysis was carried out through partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings show that young consumers’ green purchase intention (GPI) is largely determined by their attitude,  environmental concern (EC), and willingness to pay (WTP). However, the impact of perceived moral obligation (PMO), on green purchase intention has been found insignificant. The study leaves specific implications for the strategic marketing decision-makers who strive to promote green product consumption in Bangladesh.

This study is conducted to determine the effect of perceived credibility, trust, experience, and attractiveness as an evaluator of influencers' effectiveness on consumer purchase intention in fashion products mediated by attitude towards influencers and brand attitude. Influencers are those who regularly share content related to certain fields or skills on social media platforms. This study is based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and other previous studies related to influencers' effectiveness on purchase intention of fashion products. The population in this study is 385 women in Surabaya with a non-probability sampling method using a purposive sampling technique. The data analysis method used in this study is Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM PLS) with a smart PLS 3.0 program. The analysis results in this study show that perceived credibility, trust, and attractiveness have a positive and significant effect on attitude towards influencers. In contrast, perceived expertise has a negative and insignificant impact on attitude towards influencers. Attitude towards influencers fully mediates the influence of perceived credibility, trust, and attractiveness on brand attitude and purchase intention. Brand attitude fully mediates the influence of attitude towards influencers on purchase intention. In this study, variable perceived expertise used did not affect attitude towards influencer variables. This is different from previous studies that have been done before. For further researchers, it is suggested that they can again use perceived expertise and other variables that can support more deep assessments that give rise to consumer attitudes towards an advertisement made by fashion product influencers in subsequent studies using different populations. The analysis model that has been used in this study can then be reused in conducting further research with varying numbers of populations and types.
