We present an analysis of spatial orientations of 1331 galaxies in the supercluster S [247+040+0029]. The main goal of this work is to search for a new substructure candidate and examine the orientation of angular momentum in the framework of three different scenarios (hierarchy, pancake, and primordial vorticity models) using “position angle-inclination method”, and to test the dependence on magnitude with the angular momentum orientations and their projections. We identified five substructures studying number density contour map with considerably high concentration of galaxies. Using random simulation method to remove the selection effect on database, we carried out expected isotropic distribution using cosmological principle. We then used three statistical tests: Chi-square, Auto-correlation, and Fourier to identify isotropy between observed and expected isotropic distributions. We varied radius in the range 0.3° to 1.0° to find substructures in supercluster. From this we found five sub-structures when taking radius 0.3° and two substructures for 1.0° radius in the number density counter maps of galaxies. By analyzing the result obtained through statistical tests, we are able to conform that evolution of galaxy in the supercluster and substructures supports “Hierarchy model" giving the angular momentum of galaxies in the large scale structure tends to be oriented random with respect to the reference coordinate system.

The spin vector orientation of 1302 SDSS (Sloan Digital Sky Survey) galaxies in Supercluster S[173+014+0082] having redshift 0.076 to 0.091 has been analysed. The positions, position angles and inclination angles of galaxies are used to convert two-dimensional observed parameters into three-dimensional angular momentum vectors of the galaxy using the `position angle-inclination' method. The expected isotropic distribution curves are determined performing numerical simulation by generating 107 virtual galaxies. The observed distribution is compared with the expected isotropic distribution curves using three statistical tools namely Chi-square test, auto-correlation test and Fourier test. Redshift map is studied and found that the distributions fit with the Gaussian. No preferred alignment of angular momentum vectors is noticed, supporting Hierarchy model of galaxy formation. The main aim of this article is to analyze non-random effect s in galaxy orientation. The result is based on the analysis of the spatial orientations of SDSS (Soloan Digital Sky Survey) galaxies of red shift 0.10000 to 0.1001 (radial velocity: 30000km/s to30030km/) using seventh data released in October 2008. The position angle inclination method is used to find the polar and azimuthal angles of galaxy rotation axes. To analyze the distribution of the polar and azimuthal angle of the galaxy rotation axes and to check for an isotropy or anisotropy the three statistical tests have carried out: chi- square, Fourier and auto correlation. It was done assuming the spatially isotropic distribution to examine non-random effects. It was found that the spin vector orientations of the galaxies in the sample Z1 and Z2 are almost isotropic.Academic Voices Vol.6 2016: 43-46

Purpose This study aims to identify the competencies of small- and medium-sized enterprises’ (SMEs) entrepreneurs in the software sector and the perceived level of attainment in each competency. It also examines whether these competencies and their levels affect business turnover and growth (in terms of business scale and duration). Design/methodology/approach To accomplish this purpose, the study took a quantitative approach, involving a survey of 33 SME entrepreneurs, which was then processed using statistical tests, including chi-square test, Kruskal–Wallis test and ordinal regression. Findings There were four findings of the study. Firstly, software SME entrepreneurs need 17 competencies, with high levels of soft competencies being required and average levels of technical competencies. Secondly, there are significant differences in perceived levels of customer service orientation (p = 0.089) depending on the scale of the business and in perceived levels of project management (p = 0.087) depending on the duration of the business. Thirdly, customer service orientation (p = 0.031) and project management (p = 0.01) both have a significant influence on business revenues. Fourthly, there were significant gaps in perceived levels of competency (p < 0.05) in achievement orientation, customer service orientation and project management. Originality/value There is existing research that conducts competency mappings at the managerial level in large-scale organizations; however, this sort of research in relation to SME entrepreneurs is still lacking. The present study seeks to fill this gap. It also maps integrated entrepreneurial competencies, including soft and technical competencies; a focus that is lacking in previous studies.

The spatial orientations of 142,929 SDSS DR-13, z- magnitude galaxies having red shift 0.50 to 0.53 have been analyzed. The main goal of this work is to examine the orientation of the angular momentum of galaxies within the given redshift limit in the framework of three different scenarios 'Hierarchy model', 'Pancake model', and the 'Primordial vorticity model'.  By using Godlowskian transformation the two-dimensional data were converted into three-dimensional data (polar and azimuthal angles). The expected isotropy distribution curves were obtained by removing the selection effects and performing a random simulation to generate 107 virtual galaxies by using Matlab 2015a. Three statistical tests of Chi-square, autocorrelation, and Fourier were used to compare the expected isotropic data with observed. The data classified into nine subsamples having each of one magnitude size. In general, the results supported the Hierarchy model. The model advocates random orientations of angular. However, a local anisotropy observed in few subsamples suggested a gravitational tidal interaction between neighboring galaxies, an early-merging process in which the angular momentum vector distorts the initial alignment of nearby galaxies.

This paper presents an analysis of the spin vector orientations of SDSS (Sloan Digital Sky Survey) galaxies in the Supercluster S [195+027+0022] using the seventh data release (2008 October). By using the spectroscopic database of galaxies, identified number density map in the region of Superclusters. Several density enhancements are observed, suggesting the possibility of substructure in the Supercluster. Two-dimensional observed parameters that we received from the database are used to compute three-dimensional galaxy rotation axes by applying `position angle-inclination' method. Apply the selection effects by performing the random simulation method. The expected distribution curves are obtained from the simulation. Chi-square, auto-correlation, and Fourier tests are used to examine non-random effects in the polar and azimuthal angle distributions of the galaxy rotation axes. To check these results with the different galaxy evolution models namely Hierarchy, Primordial, and Pancake model. The result supports the Hierarchy model.

AbstractWe present spatial orientation of angular momentum vectors of 3038 galaxies in the SDSS supercluster S[202-002+0084] having mean redshift 0.084. The selection effects in the database are removed using random simulation method. The observed distributions of angular momentum vectors of galaxies are compared with expected theoretical distribution using chi-square, auto-correlation and Fourier tests. No preferred alignments of angular momentum vectors of galaxies are noticed in the supercluster S[202-001+0084], supporting hierarchy model.

We present a study of spin vector orientation of 14,118 SDSS (Sloan Digital Sky Survey) galaxies having redshift in the range 0.19 to 0.20 (radial velocity 57,000 km/s to 60,000 km/s) with respect to galactic coordinate system using 7th data release (2008, October). These galaxies were observed through SDSS telescope of Apache Point Observatory located at New Mexico, USA. The photometric database is made available through our collaboration with institute of Astro-particle physics, Innsbruck University, Austria. We used the `Godlowskian' method to convert two dimensional data to three dimensional galaxy rotation axes. Our intension is to find out non-random effects in the spatial orientation of galaxies and to check  redshift dependence. The expected isotropy distribution curves are obtained by removing the selection effects and performing a random simulation method. The observed and expected polar and azimuthal angle distributions are compared by using three statistical tests- chi-square, auto-correlation and the Fourier. It is found that the spatial orientation of galaxies tend to be oriented randomly with respect to the galactic coordinate system, supporting hierarchy model of galaxy evolution. In few cases we noticed a preference, probably due to the gravitational shearing or tidal effects in the large scale structure. In general, redshift is found to be independent of orientation. In this paper we investigate: a) The evolution of quasars on the basis of gravitational contraction model of proto-galaxies. This is done by studying the number density of quasars given by Veron catalogue [1] in different luminosity classes. The order of classes increase with increasing the luminosity of corresponding quasars. It is shown that the decay of quasars is more sensible to their luminosities as expected by assuming that they are evolved from the contraction of slowly rotating proto-galaxies. The role of the angular momentum in the evolution of galaxies is emphasized by the results obtained from the size-luminosity relation of about 40,000 normal galaxies given by LEDA database [2]. In the model mentioned above the normal galaxies are assumed to be evolved from the contraction of relatively fast rotating proto-galaxies. b) The filamentary structures and voids of the large scale universe by plotting the entire sky map of quasars in the galactic coordinate. This is done by assuming that these objects are at cosmological distances. The result which is plotted in the following figure, seems to show some spatial correlations of quasars distribution. The region of missing quasars is due to the dust clouds in our galaxy which block our view of other quasars. Note the voids and clumpy distribution of quasars looking like filaments.

Birds of the psittaciform order, composed by the Psittacidae and Loridae family have several characteristics making them more frequently kept as companion animals, promoting the increase of breeding sites in Brazil. The present study aimed to analyze the specificity and sensitivity of three different coproparasitological tests, Willis, Hoffman and Direto de feces, through statistical tests: Chi-Square and Kappa. 70 fecal samples of exotic parrots were collected from a commercial breeding site and these were submitted to the three tests, totaling 210 coproparasitological exams. Among the tests performed, 29,5% were positive for nematode eggs, cestodes and oocysts. Coproparasitological exams are inexpensive, have clinical importance, indicating the population of endoparasites and therapeutic treatments.

Implementation of IMD in hospitals has decreased from the previous year and has not reached the target set by the government. Some IMD implementation processes have not been carried out according to applicable standards. So that babies do not get an IMD in accordance with existing SOPs. The purpose of this study was to determine the determinant factors associated with the implementation of the IMD by midwives in the Midwifery and Maternity Room Emergency Room (IGD) at the Anutapura General Hospital in Palu. This research method is analytical with cross sectional approach. The population of this study was that all midwives in the obstetrics emergency room and maternity room at Anutapura Palu Hospital were 37 respondents. The sample in this study is total sampling. The analysis used was univariate, and bivariate analysis using the chi square test with a confidence level of 95% (α = 0.05). The results of statistical tests on variable knowledge of midwives with the implementation of IMD p value: 0.018 (p value <0.05). APN training with the implementation of IMD p value: 0.697 (p value> 0.05). length of work with the implementation of IMD p value: 0.029 (p value <0.05). and peer support with the implementation of IMD p value: 0.007 (p value <0.05). Conclusions there is a relationship between knowledge, length of work, peer support with the implementation of the IMD, and training factors that have nothing to do with IMD implementation. The strongest factor in the relationship is peer support. It is recommended that the Anutarapura Palu Hospital be able to motivate midwives so that they can further enhance their role in the implementation and provide support to their colleagues so that the implementation of the IMD can be carried out in accordance with applicable standards.Keywords: Knowledge, APN Training, Duration of work, Implementation of IMD
