Abstract Ispat Inland MartINsite is a low-carbon cold-rolled ultrahigh-strength steel available in four grades with minimum tensile strengths of 900 MPa (130 ksi) (M-130), 1100 MPa (160 ksi) (M-160), 1310 MPa (190 ksi) (M-190), and 1520 MPa (220 psi) (M-220). This steel can be used where high strength and/or lightweight are required and can substitute for high-carbon alloy steels, spring steels, and some nonferrous alloys at significant savings in cost. Electrosite is an electrogalvanized form of M-190. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, tensile properties, and bend strength. It also includes information on wear resistance as well as heat treating and surface treatment. Filing Code: CS-62. Producer or source: Ispat Inland Inc. Originally published as Inland MartINsite, October 1976, revised February 2003.

Abstract YS-T 50 to YS-T 140 Steels comprise a series of high-strength, cold-rolled steels designed to meet performance and weight-saving objectives. They are an extension of Youngstown's series of hot-rolled high-strength steels (see Youngstown YS-T Steel, Alloy Digest SA-261, March 1971). The YS-T 50 to YS-T 140 steels have minimum yield strengths ranging from 50,000 psi to 140,000 psi. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and bend strength. It also includes information on heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SA-331. Producer or source: Youngstown Sheet and Tube Company.

Abstract STRIMEK is a Super High-Strength Low-Alloy (HSLA) steel. It is a microalloyed high-strength steel. Its unique properties are obtained in a carefully moniored process where microalloying elements are added and a special type of heat teatment is carried out. Strimek is lighter than an equivalent component of the same strength in low-carbon steel, aluminum or fibreglass-reinforced plastic. It is available in three grades, all of which have the unique combination of high strength, good formability and good weldability. Strimek is recommended where high strength at low weight is needed. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, microstructure, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and bend strength. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SA-401. Producer or source: Uddeholm Strip Steel AB.
