Abstract NJZ ALLOY No. 1 is produced from high-grade, high-purity zinc with additions of lead, cadmium and iron. It gives excellent deep-drawing performance because of a combination of low hardness and strength, high ductility and very little tendency to work harden. It can be formed readily by conventional processes including spinning and its applications include such items as deep-drawn cans and jewelry. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties as well as creep and fatigue. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as casting, forming, heat treating, and machining. Filing Code: Zn-18. Producer or source: New Jersey Zinc Company.

Abstract Aurubis Cu-OF is an oxygen-free, high conductivity copper with 99.95% minimum Cu. It offers the advantages of both electrolytic tough pitch (ETP) copper and phosphorus deoxidized (DHP) copper. Its high purity, with less than 10 ppm (0.001%) oxygen, and the absence of deoxidizers accounts for an electrical conductivity of 100% IACS minimum, as well as no susceptibility to hydrogen embrittlement. Due to the absence of oxides in the structure, Cu-OF is capable of withstanding extra deep drawing and severe forming, and is superior to Cu-ETP in this respect. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and bend strength. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-911. Producer or Source: Aurubis AG.

Abstract AMAX-XLP is an oxygen-free low-phosphorus copper identical in electrical conductivity to that specified for deoxidized low-phosphorus (DLP) copper, but with a lower phosphorus range than that required in DLP copper. AMAX-XLP is produced from high-purity oxygen-free copper; this results in predictable effective phosphorus content and thus predictable consistent performance. It is ideal for applications where a low phosphorus content is beneficial and good conductivity and good resistance to embrittlement are needed. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength as well as fatigue. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-272. Producer or source: Amax Copper Inc..

Abstract VascoMax T-200 is an 18% nickel maraging steel with titanium as the primary strengthening agent and containing no cobalt. It is double vacuum melted to assure high purity which is essential for optimum mechanical properties. Price stability is an advantage with titanium-strengthened maraging steels, as compared with the price fluctuations that can occur with the cobalt-strengthened steel. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: SA-422.
