Three-dimensional printing has several significant advantages over traditional methods of production: simplification and acceleration of the production process, versatility, low cost and a few others. As a result, additive technologies have quickly become a highly promising area with great potential in many areas of human activity, finding more and more points of application. Medicine is no exception. The development of three-dimensional printing in the field of medicine can not only solve a few pressing health problems, but also stimulate the progress of technology. To date, three-dimensional medical printing is used in the following areas: individual prostheses both temporary and permanent wear, surgical instruments, simulation manuals for training medical students and preoperative training of surgeons. Of interest is the joint application of additive technologies with cellular technologies – bioprinting. Despite its great potential, this activity is not sufficiently regulated, which is a serious obstacle to its development. The introduction into practice of the principles proposed in this work of the device and functioning of a specialized service – laboratory of additive medical production – should solve this problem and contribute to the rapid development of medical three-dimensional printing in the Russian Federation.

Modeling technologies and 3D printing are being introduced into many branches of production, supplementing or displacing traditional methods and provide new results in various fields. Research and development based on the use of three-dimensional printing did not bypass tactile cartography, which is quite expected, given the very essence of tactile perception – the sense of touch of the surface under study. The article discusses the possibility of using 3D printing for the font design of tactile maps intended for people with limited visual function. The author presents the results of a study on the perception of Braille created with a 3D printer. An algorithm developed for converting textual and numerical data from fields in the attribute tables of geographic information system bases into inscriptions of objects executed in Braille was.

This review presents technological approaches to 4-D printing, which are modifications of additive technologies. Showing the distinctive features of this technology from the three-dimensional printing. The use of four-dimensional printing in pharmaceutical technology and advantages over traditional methods of creating dosage forms are described. Demonstrated classification of adaptive materials, the principles of their application and features of printing equipment. Examples of adaptive materials are presented, including smart polymers and stimuli sensitive hydrogels. The advantages of this type of production, its development prospects and technological features of the production of microcapsules, hydrogels and mucoadhesive films of smart polymers by additive printing technology are given.

The main goal of the project is to investigate the possible ways of introducing the additive technologies, to study the peculiarities of the layer wise synthesis process when producing foundry patterns and defining basic parameters which influence the quality of the produced parts. Based on the analysis of the results of activities aimed at the development of three-dimensional printing in Kazakhstan, highlighted the alleged problems of the successful implementation of additive technologies in the economy and in education particularly. In article the scheme of the existence and development of new technologies and the role of government’s support in the process is given. The results of data analysis from the Internet shows that there is a sufficient number of three-dimensional modeling laboratories, but it is mostly commercial service companies in the field of three-dimensional printing. The key factor in the growth of any economy is to organize an effective system of technology transfer and its further improvement.

The aim of the study is to find solutions aimed at the formation of optimal conditions for the creation and functioning of reclamation parks on the territory of existing institutions for reclamation subordinated to the Ministry of agriculture of Russia, through the establishment and justification of the necessary list of functions and powers of their management companies. The comparative analysis of the concept of creation of agricultural parks and the documents regulating functioning of agro-industrial parks is carried out. In addition, the studies were conducted in the context of Federal programs and other legislative acts of the Russian Federation. The analysis of regulatory documentation and scientific developments in the field of agro-industrial sector allowed to compare and make informed decisions on the formation of functions and powers of the management companies of reclamation parks. The formed materials will allow to organize highly effective work of the management companies of recreational parks, by endowing the latter with the necessary functions and powers, without burdening them with unnecessary functions that are not within their competence. Thus formation of functions and powers providing competitive level of activity of reclamation parks needs to be carried out on the basis of functions and powers of the industrial and agroindustrial parks regulated by the current legislation. The formed substantiations will allow to accelerate decision-making processes in the field of powers and functions of managing companies of reclamation parks by legislative and Executive authorities, and thus will contribute to more rapid development of the reclamation complex of the Russian Federation, and as a consequence of the implementation of Federal programs and other legislative acts aimed at the development of agriculture and import substitution in this area.

Ossifying fibroma (OF) is a rare, benign, fibro-osseous lesion of the jawbone characterised by replacement of the normal bone with fibrous tissue. The fibrous tissue shows varying amount of calcified structures resembling bone and/or cementum. The central variant of OF is rare, and shows predilection for mandible among the jawbone. Although it is classified as fibro-osseous lesion, it clinically behaves as a benign tumour and can grow to large size, causing bony swelling and facial asymmetry. This paper reports a case of large central OF of mandible in a 40-year-old male patient. The lesion was treated by segmental resection of mandible. Reconstruction of the surgical defect was done using avascular fibula bone graft. Role of three-dimensional printing of jaw and its benefits in surgical planning and reconstruction are also highlighted.
