Pada aktivitas pertambangan tidak luput dari jam operasional yang tinggi di daerah batubara dan suhu di sekitar mencapai 34o celsius yang berpotensi menyebabkan kebakaran pada unit komatsu WA600-3 (Wheel Loader). WA600-3 beroperasi di stock pile batubara menyebabkan panas berlebih (overheat) karena suhu di sekitar stock pile ataupun panas dari kebocoran sistem hidrolik yang menyebabkan menempelnya fine coal yang menyebabkan kebakaran. Penambahan proteksi kebakaran fire supression tipe LOP (Lose Of Pressure) dapat meminimalkan kerusakan dan kerugian pada saat terjadi kebakaran di PT. Kalimantan Prima Persada site Rantau. Sistem ini sangat efektif untuk mencegah unit terbakar karena aktif dengan suhu kerja (160 – 180o Celsius) pada detection tubing saat terjadi kebakaran dan juga bisa di aktifkan secara manual lewat knob internal actuator atau external actuator.Kata Kunci           : Kebakaran, Fire supression

Emschergenossenschaft and Lippeverband operate 59 wastewater treatment plants which produce approx. 100,000 Mg TS of sewage sludge each year. Using sludge pressure pipelines, about 60 % of this sludge are transported to the central sludge treatment plant in Bottrop. The digested sludges are conditioned using fine coal and polymers and are dewatered using membrane filters. By adding coal, the heating value of the sludge is raised which enables autothermal combustion of the dewatered sludges in fluidised bed furnaces at the central sludge treatment plant. In order to replace coal, a fossil fuel, as conditioning agent, experiments were conducted using alternative materials with high heating values. The addition of shredder fluff agglomerates proved to be particularly successful. Shredder fluff agglomerates are a residue from the recycling of used cars and are generated in a multistage process (e.g. Volkswagen-SiCon Process) by separating the light shredder fraction (plastic components etc.) from the total shredder fluff. The fibrous material is outstandingly suitable for improving the dewaterability and for sufficiently raising the heating value of the dewatered sludge in order to enable autothermal combustion. Since first experiments showed very positive results, a full-scale long-term test-run will take place in 2007.

Based on the CAE analysis. The dual variable gear shaft of the transmission for domestic ZL50 wheel loader was redesigned and the processing technology was optimized. The problem of the hardness of the spline which connects the dual variable gear shaft and the working hydraulic pump can not meet the requirements after heat treatment caused by unreasonable design was solved. The problem of the low geometric tolerance and early wear of the spline were solved. After practical application, the market feedback shows that the failure rate, service life and reliability greatly of new designed shaft were enhanced

On the background of increasing demand of construction machinery, the requirement of energy saving without affecting performance, safety and reliability put great pressure on engineering staffs. A comprehensive grasp of the whole system in constitution and working principle exactly helps designers in control and modifications theoretically. Evaluations and discusses in this article are based on a model in Simulation X, and variable geometry parameters in the system model make the matching of desired result easily. A successful model build for working devices of the wheel loader, and all technical result can be acquired easily in the soft ware, the result curves can easily revealed the requirement of optimizing the design of the whole machine.
