Now we are in the era of ubiquitous computing. Internet of things (IoT) is getting matured in various parts of the world. In coming few years' billions and trillions of things will be connected to the internet. To deal with these huge number of devices in a network we need to consider Quality of Service (QoS)parameters so that system operations can be performed in a smoother way. Mathematical modelling of these QoS parameters gives an idea about which factors are needs to consider while designing any IoT-enabled system at the same time it will give the performance analysis of the system before implementation. In this paper comprehensive literature survey is done to discuss various issues related to QoS and gap analysis is also done for IoT Enabled systems. This paper proposes general steps to build a mathematical model for a system. It also proposes the mathematical model for QoS parameters like reliability, communication complexities, latency and aggregation of data for IoT. To support proposed mathematical model proof of concept also given.

Multimedia sensor networks for real-time applications have strict constraints on delay, packet loss, and energy consumption requirements. For example, video streaming in a disaster-management scenario requires careful handling to ensure that the end-to-end delay is within the acceptable range and the video is received properly without any distortion. The failure to transmit a video stream effectively occurs for many reasons, including sensor function limitations, excessive power consumption, and a lack of routing reliability. We propose a novel mathematical model for quality of service (QoS) route determination that enables a sensor to determine the optimal path for minimising resource use while satisfying the required QoS constraints. The proposed mathematical model uses the Lagrangian relaxation mixed integer programming technique to define critical parameters and appropriate objective functions for controlling the adaptive QoS constrained route discovery process. Performance trade-offs between QoS requirements and energy efficiency were simulated using the LINGO mathematical programming language. The proposed approach significantly improves the network lifetime, while reducing energy consumption and decreasing average end-to-end delays within the sensor network via optimised resource sharing in intermediate nodes compared with existing routing algorithms.

Data mining plays an important role in analysis of data in modern sensor networks. A sensor network is greatly constrained by the various challenges facing a modern Wireless Sensor Network. This survey paper focuses on basic idea about the algorithms and measurements taken by the Researchers in the area of Wireless Sensor Network with Health Care. This survey also catego-ries various constraints in Wireless Body Area Sensor Networks data and finds the best suitable techniques for analysing the Sensor Data. Due to resource constraints and dynamic topology, the quality of service is facing a challenging issue in Wireless Sensor Networks. In this paper, we review the quality of service parameters with respect to protocols, algorithms and Simulations.
