Kaca Kunci: Karakteristik morfometri DAS, debit banjir rencana, DAS Way Apu

Abstract. Understanding the errors caused by spatial-scale transformation in Earth observations and simulations requires a rigorous definition of scale. These errors are also an important component of representativeness errors in data assimilation. Several relevant studies have been conducted, but the theory of the scale associated with representativeness errors is still not well developed. We addressed these problems by reformulating the data assimilation framework using measure theory and stochastic calculus. First, measure theory is used to propose that the spatial scale is a Lebesgue measure with respect to the observation footprint or model unit, and the Lebesgue integration by substitution is used to describe the scale transformation. Second, a scale-dependent geophysical variable is defined to consider the heterogeneities and dynamic processes. Finally, the structures of the scale-dependent errors are studied in the Bayesian framework of data assimilation based on stochastic calculus. All the results were presented on the condition that the scale is one-dimensional, and the variations in these errors depend on the differences between scales. This new formulation provides a more general framework to understand the representativeness error in a non-linear and stochastic sense and is a promising way to address the spatial-scale issue.

This article presents a method for solving decision in building plan design by using a mathematical model (nonlinear programming). First objective is to formulate mathematical models for analysis in dividing rooms and dimensions in a building plan. Secondly, to calculate the dimensions and room sizes which have minimum construction cost. A case study of a condominium building plan was analyzed in this research. The results found application of the mathematical model was applicable. The mathematical models were formulated, the minimum construction cost was ฿723,000 (US$24,100) and usable area in the condominium was 67.5 m2 and followed the assigned design constraints. Keywords: Building plan design; Mathematical model; Unit cost;eISSN 2398-4295 © 2018. Exploring a unique structure with superior catalytic performance has remained a severe challenge in many important catalytic reactions. Here, we reported a phenomenon that CeO2-based catalysts loaded with different Pt precursors showed a significant difference in the performance of the reduction of NO with H2. The supported platinum nitrate [PtCe(N)] exhibited a superior low-temperature catalytic performance than the supported chloroplatinic acid [PtCe(C)]. In a wide operating temperature (125–200°C), more than 80% NOx conversion was achieved over PtCe(N) as well as excellent thermal stability. Various characterizations were used to study the microstructure and chemical electronic states. Results showed the introduction of a low valence state of Pt species into the CeO2 resulted in the rearrangement of charges on the surface of CeO2, accompanied by increasing contents of oxygen vacancies and Ce3+ sites. Furthermore, the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and Raman spectra confirmed that the divalent Pt atom could substitute Ce atom to form the Pt-O-Ce3+ structure, which was the base unit in the high-performance PtCe(N) catalyst. The tunable catalytic system of the Pt-O-Ce3+ structure provides a strategy for the design of supported metal catalysts and may as a model unit for future studies of many other reactions.

Village-based processing unit is a small-scale agricultural processing industry based in rural areas. It is a breakthrough program in accelerating the growth of farmers' income and increased employment. The product processing unit has a goal of obtaining maximum benefit.  In order to achieve maximum profit and continuous processing of coffee, the processing unit should pay attention to the efficiency aspect. The purpose of this research is to know the efficiency of the coffee processing unit in Ngada regency and the improvement strategy for processing unit of an inefficient result to be efficient. The analysis method used is Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) of Charnes, Cooper, and Rhodes (CCR) model and Banker, Charnes, and Cooper (BCC) model with output orientation. The research sample is the management of the coffee processing unit, with the total of 40 respondents. The result of this research shows that the efficiency measurement using DEA method of the CCR model produces coffee processing unit in Ngada regency which efficiently reaches 9 units or 22.5% while 31 or 77.5% other processing units are inefficient. On the BCC model unit, the efficient coffee processing is 20 units or 50%, while the other 20 units or 50% are in the inefficient state. The inefficient processing unit is because the available input is not used optimally. Inefficient processing units can be achieved efficiently by referring to efficient processing units within their peer groups by adjusting the excessive amount of input usage

Background:In the statistical analysis of directional data, the von Mises-Fisher distribution plays an important role to model unit vectors. The estimation of the parameters of a mixture of von Mises-Fisher distributions can be done through the Estimation-Maximization algorithm. Objective:In this paper we propose a dynamic clusters type algorithm based on the estimation of the parameters of a mixture of von Mises-Fisher distributions for clustering directions, and we compare this algorithm with the Estimation-Maximization algorithm. We also define the between-groups and within-groups variability measures to compare the solutions obtained with the algorithms through these measures. Results:The comparison of the clusters obtained with both algorithms is provided for a simulation study based on samples generated from a mixture of two Fisher distributions and for an illustrative example with spherical data.

We propose a user-friendly simulator in which the structure and modeling are open to any user. The proposed simulator can easily build a complicated model by using a hierarchicalmanagement system. To realize model constructions that are easier for users to understand, we introduce a cascaded binary relation function CBRF as a model unit. An editor that efficiently uses the structure is being developed. Application of this simulator to various targets allows approximate simulation results to be quickly and easily obtained.
