In order to solve the problems of weight solving and information aggregation in the Vague multi-attribute group decision-making, this paper first solves the weight of Vague evaluation value, and then fuses the information of Vague sets through evidence theory, and obtains an information aggregation algorithm for Vague multi-attribute group decision-making. Firstly, The algorithm draws on the idea of solving the weight of evidence in the improved evidence theory algorithm, and calculates the weight of Vague evaluation value, and revises the original evaluation information after obtaining the weight of each Vague evaluation value. Secondly, this algorithm analyzes the mathematical relationship between the Vague sets and the evidence theory, and uses the evidence theory to fuse the evaluation information to obtain the final Vague evaluation value of each alternative. Finally, this algorithm uses a score function to calculate the score of each alternative to determine the best alternative. The algorithm given in the paper enables decision-makers to make rational decisions in uncertain environments, and then select the best alternative.

Single valued trapezoidal neutrosophic numbers (SVTNNs) are very useful tools for describing complex information, because of their advantage in describing the information completely, accurately and comprehensively for decision-making problems. In the paper, a method based on SVTNNs is proposed for dealing with multi-criteria group decision-making (MCGDM) problems. Firstly, the new operations SVTNNs are developed for avoiding evaluation information aggregation loss and distortion. Then the possibility degrees and comparison of SVTNNs are proposed from the probability viewpoint for ranking and comparing the single valued trapezoidal neutrosophic information reasonably and accurately. Based on the new operations and possibility degrees of SVTNNs, the single valued trapezoidal neutrosophic power average (SVTNPA) and single valued trapezoidal neutrosophic power geometric (SVTNPG) operators are proposed to aggregate the single valued trapezoidal neutrosophic information. Furthermore, based on the developed aggregation operators, a single valued trapezoidal neutrosophic MCGDM method is developed. Finally, the proposed method is applied to solve the practical problem of the most appropriate green supplier selection and the rank results compared with the previous approach demonstrate the proposed method's effectiveness.

Under the competitive market environment, the game between manufacturers comes down to the competitive multiattribute group decision-making problem. In this study, the evaluation information of experts is given in the form of 2-dimension 2-tuple linguistic variables, and an approach is proposed for the competitive multiattribute group decision-making problem based on game theory and evidence theory. Firstly, based on the evidence theory, the attribute values of each situation are obtained by aggregating the 2-dimension 2-tuple linguistic evaluation information given by experts. Secondly, according to the attribute values of every situation, the evidence theory is applied for the second aggregation to obtain the overall values of every situation, and then the game matrix of competitive multiattribute group decision problem is formed. Then, according to the bivariate game matrix, the Nash equilibrium point of competitive multiattribute group decision-making problem is determined based on game theory. Finally, a practical case about the alternative selections for a duopoly problem is used to illustrate the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed approach for the competitive multiattribute group decision-making problem.

Since Pythagorean fuzzy sets can better reflect the cognition of the decision objects for experts, researchers have begun to pay increasingly more attention to them in recent years. The majority of the research on Pythagorean fuzzy environment assumes that the decision maker is completely rational and does not consider the correlation among the attribute variables. In view of the above, this paper proposes a method to solve the multiple attribute group decision-making problem based on D-S theory and interactive power averaging operator. First, the new Pythagorean fuzzy interactive weighted power average operator is designed to aggregate the attribute evaluation information given by experts one by one, and the comprehensive evaluation information of each expert is obtained. Then, the expert comprehensive evaluation information is aggregated by the rule of evidence combination to obtain the comprehensive evidence information and confidence interval of each candidate. Then, the decision-making method for candidate alternatives is performed by the possibility discriminant rule. The design method considers not only the decision makers’ bounded rationality but also the correlation among the attribute variables. Finally, the selection of the energy exploitation plan illustrates the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed group decision method.

Case-based reasoning (CBR) is one of the most popular methods used in emergency decision making (EDM). Case retrieval plays a key role in EDM processes based on CBR and usually functions by retrieving similar historical cases using similarity measurements. Decision makers (DMs), thus, choose the most appropriate historical cases. Although uncertainty and fuzziness are present in the EDM process, in-depth research on these issues is still lacking. In this study, a heterogeneous multi-attribute case retrieval method based on group decision making (GDM) with incomplete weight information is developed. First, the case similarities between historical and target cases are calculated, and a set of similar historical cases is constructed. Six formats of case attributes are considered, namely crisp numbers, interval numbers, linguistic variables, intuitionistic fuzzy numbers, single-valued neutrosophic numbers (NNs) and interval-valued NNs. Next, the evaluation information from the DMs is expressed using single-valued NNs. Additionally, the evaluation utilities of similar historical cases are obtained by aggregating the evaluation information. The comprehensive utilities of similar historical cases are obtained using case similarities and evaluation utilities. In this process, the weights of incomplete information are determined by constructing optimization models. Furthermore, the most appropriate similar historical case is selected according to the comprehensive utilities. Finally, the proposed method is demonstrated using two examples; its performance is then compared with those of other similar methods to demonstrate its validity and efficacy.

The polygonal fuzzy set is an effective tool to express a class of fuzzy information with the help of finite ordered real numbers. It can not only guarantee the closeness of arithmetic operation of the polygonal fuzzy sets, but also has good linearity and intuitiveness. Firstly, the concept of the n-intuitionistic polygonal fuzzy set (n-IPFS) is proposed based on the intuitionistic fuzzy set and the polygonal fuzzy set. The ordered representation and arithmetic operation of n-IPFS are given by an example. Secondly, a new aggregation method for multi attribute fuzzy information is given based on the n-IPFS operations and the weighted arithmetic average operator, and the ranking criteria of n-IPFS are obtained by using the score function and the accuracy function. Finally, a new group decision making method is proposed for urban residents to choose the livable city problem based on the decision matrix of the n-IPFS, and the effectiveness of the proposed method is explained by an actual example.

In actual life, uncertain and inconsistent information exists widely. How to deal with the information so that it can be better applied is a problem that has to be solved. Neutrosophic soft sets can process uncertain and inconsistent information. Also, Dempster-Shafer evidence theory has the advantage of dealing with uncertain information, and it can synthesize uncertain information and deal with subjective judgments effectively. Therefore, this paper creatively combines the Dempster-Shafer evidence theory with the neutrosophic soft sets, and proposes a cosine similarity measure for multi-criteria group decision making. Different from the previous studies, the proposed similarity measure is utilized to measure the similarity between two objects in the structure of neutrosophic soft set, rather than two neutrosophic soft sets. We also propose the objective degree and credibility degree which reflect the decision makers’ subjective preference based on the similarity measure. Then parameter weights are calculated by the objective degree. Additionally, based on credibility degree and parameter weights, we propose the modified score function, modified accuracy function, and modified certainty function, which can be employed to obtain partial order relation and make decisions. Later, we construct an aggregation algorithm for multi-criteria group decision making based on Dempster’s rule of combination and apply the algorithm to a case of medical diagnosis. Finally, by testing and comparing the algorithm, the results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can solve the multi-criteria group decision making problems effectively.

The paper proposes a generalized ordered weighted simplified neutrosophic cosine similarity (GOWSNCS) measure by combining the cosine similarity measure of simplified neutrosophic sets (SNSs) with the generalized ordered weighted averaging (GOWA) operator and investigates its properties and special cases. Then, the author develops a simplified neutrosophic group decision-making method based on the GOWSNCS measure to handle multiple attribute group decision-making problems with simplified neutrosophic information. The prominent characteristics of the GOWSNCS measure are that it not only is a generalization of the cosine similarity measure but also considers the associated weights for attributes and decision makers in the aggregation of the cosine similarity measures of SNSs to alleviate the influence of unduly large or small similarities in the process of information aggregation. Finally, an illustrative example of investment alternatives is provided to demonstrate the application and effectiveness of the developed approach.

In the practical world, there commonly exist different types of multiple-attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems with uncertain information. Symmetry among some attributes’ information that is already known and unknown, and symmetry between the pure attribute sets and fuzzy attribute membership sets, can be an effective way to solve this type of MAGDM problem. In this paper, we investigate four forms of information aggregation operators, including the Hamy mean (HM) operator, weighted HM (WHM) operator, dual HM (DHM) operator, and the dual-weighted HM (WDHM) operator with the q-rung interval-valued orthopair fuzzy numbers (q-RIVOFNs). Then, some extended aggregation operators, such as the q-rung interval-valued orthopair fuzzy Hamy mean (q-RIVOFHM) operator; q-rung interval-valued orthopairfuzzy weighted Hamy mean (q-RIVOFWHM) operator; q-rung interval-valued orthopair fuzzy dual Hamy mean (q-RIVOFDHM) operator; and q-rung interval-valued orthopair fuzzy weighted dual Hamy mean (q-RIVOFWDHM) operator are presented, and some of their precious properties are studied in detail. Finally, a real example for green supplier selection in green supply chain management is provided, to demonstrate the proposed approach and to verify its rationality and scientific nature.

Under the interval-valued hesitant fuzzy information environment, we investigate a multiattribute group decision making (MAGDM) method with continuous entropy weights and improved Hamacher information aggregation operators. Firstly, we introduce the axiomatic definition of entropy for interval-valued hesitant fuzzy elements (IVHFEs) and construct a continuous entropy formula on the basis of the continuous ordered weighted averaging (COWA) operator. Then, based on the Hamachert-norm andt-conorm, the adjusted operational laws for IVHFEs are defined. In order to aggregate interval-valued hesitant fuzzy information, some new improved interval-valued hesitant fuzzy Hamacher aggregation operators are investigated, including the improved interval-valued hesitant fuzzy Hamacher ordered weighted averaging (I-IVHFHOWA) operator and the improved interval-valued hesitant fuzzy Hamacher ordered weighted geometric (I-IVHFHOWG) operator, the desirable properties of which are discussed. In addition, the relationship among these proposed operators is analyzed in detail. Applying the continuous entropy and the proposed operators, an approach to MAGDM is developed. Finally, a numerical example for emergency operating center (EOC) selection is provided, and comparative analyses with existing methods are performed to demonstrate that the proposed approach is both valid and practical to deal with group decision making problems.
