The elective course "Basics of artificial intelligence" for high school students

The article emphasizes the relevance of studying topics on artificial intelligence in a modern school, and points out the corresponding problems. The degree of representation of these topics in the school informatics course is analyzed. The author's elective course "Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence" is described, the features of teaching high school students in the framework of this course are considered. The course is electronic and presented on the educational portal of the Omsk State Pedagogical University. Particular attention in the course is paid to the use of interactive elements that make it possible to organize interaction a teacher with schoolchildren both in distance and in blended learning. The article draws conclusions about possible improvements to the course, depending on the initial level of training of students in the field of informatics and information technology.

Introduction. Modern curriculum («Physical culture 10-11 classes») for the last decades is developed according to requirements of operating standards of basic and full general secondary education. In particular on a modular system Aim is to find out the changes of technical preparedness of high school students according to the results of implementation the variable module "Wrestling". Material and methods. There were used theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodical data and sources of the Internet, analysis of documentary materials, pedagogical testing, pedagogical experiment (there was tested the effectiveness of the developed variable module "Wrestling" in the physical education of high school students in secondary schools), methods of mathematical statistics. During the 2017-2019, school years were involved 53 students of 10 classes (31 boys and 22 girls) and 74 students of 11 classes (41 boys and 33 girls). Results. Analysis of the 10th grade boys’ results indicated the presence of significant changes a high level (p≤0.01). In all cases, the average scores improved by 0.54-0.71 points (from 16.79% to 22.66% of initial level). The girls of the 10th grade best realized the technical and tactical elements standing - dumping, beating (24.76% improvement from the initial level) and on the ground - twists and somersault (24.51%, respectively). For 11th grade boys technical and tactical improvement there was on the level of p≤0.05(9.35–18.45% of the initial level). According to the percentage values for 11th grade girls, in general, there were changes in grades by 10.67–21.13% from the initial level. Conclusions. It was found that in most technical and tactical elements, girls show higher relative rates of improvement. The only exception is in somersault with running, where the boys had the best changes. The factors of this are the better functional start an organism of young people at the beginning of the pedagogical experiment and higher indicators of fitness, which all owed to better master the technique of the wrestling elements at the beginning of the variable module. The girls gradually increased both fitness and technique of performing theses pacificelements of wrestling.

The role of school as an educational factor is to empower a young person in the field of social competences in order to enhance the sensitivity for the development of social closeness among different social groups. This research endeavor aims to further clarify the social distance among Bosnian- Herzegovinian high school students. The research sample consisted of 310 high school students (General High School in Zenica, Pale High School Center, Fr. Grga Martić High School in Mostar). The classes were randomly selected. In this study, the General Socio-Demographic Questionnaire and the Social Distance Scale were used. The findings could serve as a starting point for the creation of the inter-ethnic and inter-religious dialogue programs. They can also be an incentive for planning and programming a stronger presence of intercultural education and the education for democracy and peace in school curriculum.

The development of computer technology gradually increases. An artificial intelligence-based system also begins to be developed and used in various fields. One product of artificial intelligence is an expert system, used for psychological field. This study aimed to explain and describe the using of expert system to diagnose online game addiction to Junior High School Students. This is based on online game addiction phenomenon happening to Indonesian student especially in Junior High School. The implementation of this expert system used certainty factor method. Steps for developing this system were divided into four, namely designing expert system or architecture of expert system, representing knowledge, designing database, and testing and implementing the system. The results indicate that this system is divided into two domains, including user and admin. The user domain is provided for users who are willing to do online consultations using system expert application. Meanwhile, the admin domain is provided for an admin to manage each datum and question from the user who conducts an online consultation. From 1000 samples, it is obtained that 69% amongst total samples of Junior High School Student have a low-level addiction to online game, 25% experience medium-level addiction, and 6% are highly addicted.

Актуальность темы определяется значимостью для современного этапа развития российского общества процесса развития готовности старшеклассников к предпринимательской деятельности в цифровой среде. Цель статьи заключается в выявлении необходимых для этого педагогических условий. Автором доказывается, что теоретическое освоение знаний в области предпринимательской деятельности, осуществляемое в настоящее время в рамках школьных дисциплин Экономика и Обществознание, недостаточно, и необходимо проектировать особые педагогические условия, способные обеспечить эффективность процесса развития готовности старшеклассников к предпринимательской деятельности. В качестве основных результатов и выводов определяется, что к числу таких педагогических условий, относятся: профессиональная диагностика и профориентация; участие в педагогическом процессе учителей, имеющих опыт предпринимательской деятельности, проектирование специализированных образовательных ситуаций, способствующих выработке предпринимательских качеств, и включающих активные методы обучения; развитие компетенций в области маркетинговой аналитики и менеджмента. Статья предназначена для практиков современного школьного образования и педагогов-теоретиков, изучающих проблемы совершенствования школьного образования. The relevance of the article is determined by the significance for the current stage of the development of Russian society of the process of developing the readiness of high school students for entrepreneurship in the digital environment. The purpose of the article is to identify the necessary pedagogical conditions for this. The author proves that the theoretical development of knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship, currently carried out within the school disciplines of Economics and Social Studies, is not enough, and it is necessary to design special pedagogical conditions that can ensure the effectiveness of the process of developing the readiness of high school students for entrepreneurship. As the main results and conclusions, it is determined that such pedagogical conditions include: professional diagnostics and career guidance; participation in the pedagogical process of teachers with experience in entrepreneurship, designing specialized educational situations that contribute to the development of entrepreneurial qualities, and include active teaching methods; development of competencies in the field of marketing analytics and management. The article is intended for practitioners of modern school education and theoretical teachers who study the problems of improving school education.

The paper outlines the development and delivery of Artificial Intelligence to high school students of the American Community Schools of Athens, either as an independent course, or as part of a S.T.E.A.M. course, and the respective instructional design. The topics developed – Impact of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Perception, and Machine Learning – are discussed, including relevant assessments. Additionally, the transition to the online delivery of Artificial Intelligence is presented, followed by reflective views on student learning and suggested future steps.
