The Internet of Things (IoT) has emerged as an area of incredible impact, with the arrival of savvy homes, savvy cities, and savvy everything. For current and future research areas it is one of the hot topics involved by both industry sector and academia. The Internet of Things (IoT) also known as a web of everything or the economic Internet is a new technology paradigm imagine as a worldwide network and devices competent to interacting with each other. Privacy and security are the major challenges in the Internet of Things (IoT) security due to the distributed nature of IoT networks [1]. Internet of things (IoT) is an upheaval of the internet. IoT are often said the expansion of internet services. It provides a platform for communication between gadgets where gadgets can manage and organize themselves. The IoT allows everyone to be connected anytime and anywhere.

The “Internet of things” (IoT) refers to Internet-enabled technologies designed to increase the efficiency of users’ lives by communicating with other objects and elements in a system. The growth in these interconnected devices has been matched with increases in the use and aggregation of data collected by vendors or third parties. The number of hackers attempting to access users’ private information also has grown. Although attempts have been made to increase IoT security, the role users can play in protecting their information has been overlooked. We illustrate the necessity of taking a user-centered approach to privacy and security when designing and developing IoT technologies.

Applying the Internet of Things (IOT) into ecological environmental monitoring is the goal of this paper. There are several advantages of the Internet of Things (IOT) applying in ecological environment monitoring. A hierarchical monitoring system is presented, including system architecture, hardware/software design, information flow and software implementation. In the end, using carbon dioxide gas in the atmosphere for experimental purposes, in data collection and analysis. Experiments showed that this system is capable of monitoring ecologica environment, which orientate the future research of forest ecosystem.

This article is devoted to the creation of a career-oriented (smart) laboratory, which is designed to formulate in schoolchildren basic ideas about the Internet of Things (IoT) technology, cyber security threats in this area, motivate to receive specialized education in the future and build a career in the field of Internet things (IoT) security) with the functioning of smart manufacturing. The training of schoolchildren in a vocational guidance laboratory, based on the use of interactive electronic educational resources, will primarily position the career opportunities of future specialists in the field of Internet of Things (IoT) security in the operation of smart manufacturing. Within the framework of the functioning of the laboratory, special attention of students is concentrated on the topics of the legal aspects of ensuring cyber security, the main trends in the development of cyber threats in the modern global information space and the measures necessary to neutralize them.

AbstractThe Internet of Things (IoT) is a computing concept that describes the idea of everyday physical objects being connected to the Internet and being able to identify themselves to other devices, and day by day it becomes popular in everyday life as well as in entrepreneurship. The IoT covers broad areas, including manufacturing, the health sector, agriculture, smart cities, security and emergencies among many others. The market for the industrial IoT is estimated to surpass 107 billion euros by 2021 and reach a compound annual growth rate of 7.3% as of 2020. The IoT makes an impact on all industries and provides benefits for various areas of business; however, business may be faced with some risks as well. The research aim is to analyse the benefits and risks of the IoT in entrepreneurship. The descriptive method, analysis and synthesis, the induction and deduction methods were used to achieve the aim. The research has revealed that the IoT can provide several opportunities for business in all fields of operations – marketing, logistics, accounting and human resource management. However, businesses may be faced with some challenges related to privacy and security, processing, analysis and management of data, as well as monitoring and sensing.

In recent years the Internet of Things (IoT) has rapidly become a revolutionary technological invention causing significant changes to the way both corporate computing systems, and even household gadgets and appliances, are designed and manufactured. The aim of this chapter is to highlight the security and privacy issues that may affect the evolution of IoT technology. The privacy issues are discussed from customer perspectives: first, the IoT privacy concern where the privacy debates on IoT and the IoT privacy that reflected from users' perspective based on the examination of previous researches results. In addition, the different architectures for IoT are discussed. Finally, the chapter discusses the IoT security concern by collecting, analyzing and presenting the major IoT security concerns in the literature as well as providing some potential solutions to these concerns.

The phrase Internet of Things (IoT) heralds a vision of the future Internet where connecting physical things, from banknotes to bicycles, through a network will let them take an active part in the Internet, exchanging information about themselves and their surroundings. This will give immediate access to information about the physical world and the objects in it leading to innovative services and increase in efficiency and productivity. In general, it may be beneficial to incorporate a number of the technologies of IoT with the use of services that can act as the bridge between each technology and the applications that developers wish to implement in IoT. This chapter studies the state-of-the-art of IoT and presents the key potential applications, challenges and future research areas in the domain of IoT. This chapter presents four main categories of services according to technical features. Some major issues of future research in IoT are identified and discussed briefly.

Cybersecurity is not just about fortification of data. It has wide implications such as maintaining safety, privacy, integrity, and trust of the patients in the healthcare sector. This study methodically reviews the need for cybersecurity amid digital transformation with the help of emerging technologies and focuses on the application and incorporation of blockchain and the internet of things (IoT) to ensure cybersecurity in the well-being of the business. It was found in the study that worldwide, advanced technology has been used in managing the flow of data and information, India should focus on maintaining the same IT-enabled infrastructure to reduce causalities in the nation and on the other hand improve administration, privacy, and security in the hospital sector. Depending on the network system, resource allocation, and mobile devices, there is a need to prioritize the resources and efforts in the era of digitalization.
