The National Southwest Associated University (Lianda) was born in Kunming, Yunnan Province and brought the force of the Peking University, Tsinghua University and Nankai University during Sino-Japanese War. As a temporary university living only eight years, it cultivated lots of professionals in all areas during hard years. Since the bigenning of the 21st century, China’s society and economy have profoundly developing toward an increasing comprehensive direction, which contributes to higher requirements for talented persons. More demands on China's education, especially the higher education, has been put forwarded due to the failure to satisfy the development of society with literacy requirement. In the past education in colleges and universities in China, the teaching ideas of schools and teachers have been influenced by traditional teaching concepts. The education for students is mainly based on basic theoretical knowledge. Besides, there aren’t too much attention to be paid on students’ psychological construction and ideological and political education. Colleges and universities have not made substantial progress in the teaching of ideological and political courses on students' psychological construction, resulting in incomplete problems in the development of students and the inability to train comprehensive talented persons for the society. Therefore, in order to promote the comprehensive development of students, colleges and universities need an effective combination of psychological counseling and students' ideological and political education for professional knowledge, excellent psychological qualities, noble ideological and moral qualities. They will promote the comprehensive development of college students and cultivate more high-quality talents for the development of society.

The importance of the management of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities is objective to the importance of ideological and political theory courses. At present, the management of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities has big problems in both macro and micro aspects. This paper combines artificial intelligence technology to build an intelligent management system for ideological and political education in colleges and universities based on artificial intelligence, and conducts classroom supervision through intelligent recognition of student status. The KNN outlier detection algorithm based on KD-Tree is proposed to extract the state information of class students. Through data simulation, it can be known that the KD-KNN outlier detection algorithm proposed in this paper significantly improves the efficiency of the algorithm while ensuring the accuracy of the KNN algorithm classification. Through experimental research, it can be seen that the construction of this system not only clarifies the direction of management from a macro perspective, but also reveals specific methods of management from a micro perspective, and to a certain extent effectively solves the problems in the management of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities.

In recent years, with the development of "guiding outline of Ideological and political construction of college curriculum" and "five focuses", the ideological and political education in Colleges and Universities has become more and more important. With the development of the strategy of "Ideological and political education of curriculum", the infiltration of traditional culture into the ideological and political education in Colleges and universities has become the focus of the school and society. From the perspective of culture itself, Chinese excellent traditional culture is a vivid teaching material for college students' patriotism education, an important resource to cultivate socialist core values, and an important source to nourish socialist moral construction. Therefore, in the context of the new era, college teachers should base on the actual development of students, grasp the connotation of the times, optimize the curriculum system, wake up the students' sense of cultural identity and belonging, and truly implement the fundamental task of "moral education".
