In natural gas remote reading, a large amount of data is collected, posing a problem of storing and processing such data to the companies involved. Two major technologies have recently appeared, becoming a de facto standard in processing large amounts of data, i.e., data warehousing and big data. Each of these technologies provides different data processing techniques. In this paper, serial data processing and parallel data processing are considered in data warehousing and big data, respectively. The paper analyzes the feasibility of implementing new technologies for processing a large amount of data generated by remote reading of natural gas consumption. The research conducted in this paper was made in collaboration with a local natural gas distribution company. A comparison of potential software vendors has shown that Qlik offers the best software package for the requirements provided by the local natural gas distribution company. Comparison results have also shown that other potential vendors also offer software packages of good quality.

The growth rate of these enterprises has increased significantly in the last decade. Research has shown that over the past two decades, the amount of data has increased approximately tenfold every two years - this exceeded Moore's Law, which doubles the power of processors. About thirty thousand gigabytes of data are accumulated every second, and their processing requires an increase in the efficiency of data processing. Uploading videos, photos and letters from users on social networks leads to the accumulation of a large amount of data, including unstructured ones. This leads to the need for enterprises to work with big data of different formats, which must be prepared in a certain way for further work in order to obtain the results of modeling and calculations. In connection with the above, the research carried out in the article on processing and storing large data of an enterprise, developing a model and algorithms, as well as using new technologies is relevant. Undoubtedly, every year the information flows of enterprises will increase and in this regard, it is important to solve the issues of storing and processing large amounts of data. The relevance of the article is due to the growing digitalization, the increasing transition to professional activities online in many areas of modern society. The article provides a detailed analysis and research of these new technologies.

Considering the increasing scenario of natural gas consumption, it is necessary that all agents in the chain use methods that structure decision-making and problem-solving processes. This paper proposes a multicriteria decision model to solve a site selection problem for a pressure reducing station. A natural gas distribution company was selected to test the model and the preference modeling was conducted through the flexible interactive tradeoff (FITradeoff) approach, according to the preferences of the decision maker (DM). FITradeoff's decision support system was used to assess the alternatives of the model, through the inference of the criteria scale constants. The results proved the robustness of the model and the DM evidenced consistency in its preferences. Also, the FITradeoff method demonstrated to be intuitive to apply, since a smaller effort is required from the DM and this is because the procedure does not require complete information in the scale constants elicitation process.

For one thing Energy distribution is an important link during the countrys sustainable development for another it is the key issue that decides whether a county is up to the international standard, therefore, increasingly importance has been attached to the selection and distribution of the energy. From the perspective of practical applications and the situation of Chinas natural gas assumption, we set up model and forecast China next three years natural gas assumption. Based on it, we found models in different industries, which maximize the degree of satisfaction of the natural gas consumption distributed to diverse vocations.

Introduction. The issue of formation and implementation of an innovative policy of increasing the competitiveness of gas distribution companies is relevant today and is determined by the large number of different approaches that enabling the analysis to determine the degree of competitiveness, both within national and regional scales. The purpose of the study is to comprehensively summarize methodological and practical approaches to determining the competitiveness level of gas distribution companies in the Western region of Ukraine. Results. Implementation of economic reforms in the activities of gas distribution companies of the Western region of Ukraine through the introduction of innovative measures is enhanced by the urgency of improving the moral and physical status of the main funds of gas distribution companies, imbalance of price supply, tariffs on purchasing power of demand and the urgency of using alternative energy sources and incentives competitiveness. It is the methodology, sequence of calculations and analysis of a number of indicators of the gas distribution company that allows you to identify trends and assess the state of change in the financial activity of the enterprise, as well as to predict potential reserves. Conclusions. The proposed methodological approach to the definition of the integral indicator on the basis of individually substantiated indicators with the implementation of their standardization allows to take into account the influence of all these components of the evaluation system to obtain the unbiased, balanced and comprehensive vision of the competitiveness of gas distribution systems in the regional context. The combination of scientific methods of cognition, a wide range of statistical information, as well as objective calculations from these indicators make it possible to clearly define the level of energy security and competitive balance of its participants. Keywords: innovation policy, gas distribution company, competitiveness, distribution, transportation, natural gas, natural gas distribution, region.

The purpose of this paper is to improve a new part for the natural gas sector using Quality Function Deployment (QFD) technique. QFD methodology was chosen for the product improvement process at IGDAS (Istanbul natural gas distribution company), the biggest natural gas distribution firm in Turkey. Experts from engineers were selected to determine customer expectations. Application of QFD to pipe strangling equipment is described step by step. The results show that when developing a new product or improving a product both customer expectations and product requirements are evaluated at the same time pleasing both parties for a successful result.
